Great video! (1) I know you are able to book a specific room before your vacation with Royalton, can you do this with PH too? (2) are there any swim-out rooms in PH that also have an ocean view? (3) what is the kids club like at PH? Thank you for reading all this!
Hmmm ... wasn't too sure about you opinion and reviews after watching your list of reasons not to visit the Royalton Splash but after watching this...I'm subscribing. Solid content! That PH cave/lazy river looks pretty cool!
hi mate great review! looking at staying at one of these 2 resorts next year would prefer the royalton but that beach really puts me off as been to cancun before and stayed in the hotel zone and the beach was amazing. my question is planet Hollywood looks quite out the way did you venture into cancun from either resorts and how much was taxi etc, and were the excursions still all on offer at planet Hollywood for things like cozumel or is it to much traveling? thanks 👍
Hi, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed. Both are nice hotels but personally preferred Planet Hollywood. Both hotels are quite a distance from anything. We didn't venture out either time as it seemed too much like hard work with 2 young children, but I believe Taxis into the hotel zone were quite expensive, I think it was around $60 one way, can't exactly remember the price. As for excursions, you are able to book excursions from both resorts. We're not really beach lovers anyway as we prefer the pools, but even just to look at, the beach at Planet Hollywood was a lot nicer. I hope this helps 👍
Hi, we have never visited the hotel you mentioned, so would not be able to compare it. Hopefully one of our viewers who has though, may be able to answer your question 🙂
I’ve seen a few of your videos about the Royalton splash as well are going in November for a wedding. So did you only visit both resorts back in 2023? I think I saw Hollywood was march of 2023 and then royalton video posted in August in 2023. Or have you visited each of these again? Were they different seasons? Or are you just posting content from these trips a year later?
Do you know if PH has connecting rooms? We are a family of 7 and PH room max out at 6 unlike the Royalton Splash where it has a room that can accommodate all of us in one suite. Thanks
Great review but when I go to read reviews on PH it’s ranging a 3.9 reviews with some horrible comments. I wish the reviews online matched your review in this video.
I was nervous to watch this as we had booked Royalton splash then cancelled and booked Planet Hollywood. We were put off the Royalton Splash because of the loud echoing walk ways & the beach with a crocodile 🐊 ❤.
After being to both, I've got to say that we found Planet Hollywood to be the better of the 2 resorts. The Royalton is still a nice resort, but Planet Hollywood was just better. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your stay 🙂
I believe there is a age range that kids can access the bowling ally and trampoline and laser Tage thou. I think I seen it's 10years and older to be able to use them which is why I decided not to stay at either resort with a 5 or old. Please correct me if I am wrong?
Hi, thanks for watching. When we stayed at Planet Hollywood, my son who was 6 at the time, had no issues using the trampoline park. But when we stayed at the Royalton Splash, at the time kids had to be 12 to use the facilities. I believe this may have been lowered now but can't confirm for sure
If you reverse the beech reviews which you said yourself could have a lot to do with the time of year that you visited there is not a great deal between the resorts. Think the overall score is at the end is definitely misleading due to this
Im so happy i found this video im currently deciding btw these two resorts for next year ! Im still undecided tho . Great review!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. My personal preference is Planet Hollywood, but each to their own 🙂

Best review yet, thanks!
Great video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the review. Does PH have a kids club?
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes, there is a kids club at Planet Hollywood 🙂

How does these 2 compare to iberstar selection cancun??

Does planet Hollywood rooms suffer damp?

Thank you Awesome 🎉
Planet hollywood ❤

I was leaning towards the Royalton Splash until he mentioned and showed a crocodile 🐊 entering the sea every morning 😬😱
Thanks for watching, the crocodiles are closely monitored, however, it is still a bit of a concern 😕

Still can’t get over the resident crocodile 🐊 entering the sea every day.
