Beautifuly and neatly done diecast of the 1984 Ferrari GTO, real great job of TLVN. 😀👍 But how are the side mirror going to be attached?! (2:04) There are no plug holes! ...is it just going to be glued on?! 🤔😶
i haven't received mine yet, but will get the yellow and red which are on the way from Hong Kong, the main thing i see all the time with TLV is "where are the side mirrors" the funny thing with this is hot wheels RLC can cost more than the cheapest TLV (FD) yet people don't complain about the lack of side mirrors. i have a feeling the reason why most of these don't come with side mirrors is because generally the tomica branding itself doesn't have side mirrors to begin with. the only mirrors that TLV seem to include if the casting has more larger mirrors like the corolla. or hilux another one is paint, yes paint can be a issue but really depends on where you live, i live in australia and haven't had any issues with the paint, some countries like Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia the paint won't last in these countries.

Thanks for the appreciation! As for the set up, its a fuji mirrorless camera. Lens i basically use an 18-55, and a 60mm macro. Lights: Basic LED's and I also use 2 underwater diving lights. (but gets really hot when used for a long time) Hope this helps.
not a bad model, back&front view is cool, looks like a real car. Painting seems flawless. Interior is sh.t for a $53 model. Decals are alright. Rolling wheels are fun. Hope we can compare a miniGT ferrari and TLVs one day when miniGT break down the walls of license aggrements. Thank you for your time and efford as always. It was a shiny 7min of this rainy day. 🤗
There's no "breaking down the walls of license agreement." Whoever owns the license can lease it how they please. MayCheong Group (Maisto, Bburago, etc) still owns it. They sublease to Tomica, who sub-subleases to Ixo and Tarmac's parent company
Hi Abraham. I had the same inquiry before and a friend from Japan said that the price is somewhat the same. Give or take a few bucks. What’s nice in Japan are the find thrift shops where you may stumble upon hard to find, discontinued TLV’s at reasonable prices… which I’ll do when I visit Japan this Sakura. Happy Trip!
@@Studio64diecasts Thank you for your help, yesterday it was the first I watch one of your videos, great content and I already subscribe to the channel.
If I'm paying top dollar for a 1/64 scale model, I expect top notch details. Sadly this model fails to deliver. Having the side view mirrors not attached from the factory is another deal breaker.
@@Studio64diecasts resin models which cost the same as well as some brands from China like PGM have details like the ones I prefer. Even brands having a lower price point like Inno64 also offer better details.
@@traviswalker8933 Resin dont roll, have no suspension, warp over time and weigh nothing, its like a paper coin. Nothing wrong if you prefer resin models of course, but if you are looking for resin from Tomica, then you're barking up the wrong tree.
@@machucast I have also mentioned other diecast brands which do a much better job than Tomica. If your comment aims to prove that Tomica is somehow more reliable than a resin model then I'd have it to break it to you, its not.
