- After a week of all Hot Wheels, it was nice to return home to this shipment from Japan Booster of brand new Ferraris from Tomica Limited Vintage. Here is my look.

The Dinos have optional side mirrors because that's how they came from the factory.
That's right; side mirrors were an OPTION back in the day.
The yellow F40 also has the sliding windows instead of the wind-down windows on the red one.
That detail is cray
Early F40s had sliding windows. They later switched to the wind down windows.

Amazing intro and amazing Ferraris from TLV. The level of detail is insane for 1/64 scale. These could easily be 1/24 scale models. Not exactly affordable, but still more worthy than paying $100 for a Hot Wheels $uper TH. These beg for some cool photos from all angles! Thanks for the Showcase Lamley!

Just got them myself. Amazingly precise castings... I would’ve preferred more openings on the Dino’s.
These are the models I hope they do in this line:
333SP (opening up like they did the Mazda 787B)
512M or 512S
330P4 or 412P
F50 (gets neglected by many model/diecast makers)
These would be cool but not super high priority since there are some nice ones out there already:
F60
1964 GTO
Can't wait for the fleet of 512s that'll be coming eventually. Hope they do the F50 or any of the other anniversary Ferraris at some point though. Maybe even ones never done in this scale before, like the 250 GT passa corto (SWB).
Yeah I'm commenting for the 3rd time now lol but I can't get enough of this video even though I have my own models to look at personally.
cool video these tomicas are pretty darn sweet in 1/64 scale but are hard to compare detail wise to the older kyosho 1/18's wich are by far the holly grail of diecast F40 models and you get more bang for your buck with the kyosho 1/18 specially if you bought them new at 71.00 retail. prices are out of sight on ebay these days but originally they were cheaper than the 1/64s are today, what a world.
The fact that you can compare these with 1:18 models is a testament to the level of detail this has at such a small scale.
I love it Hopefully Hot Wheels will get the Ferrari license next year

pretty sure with your comment about the tail lights, I'm pretty sure the red TLV F40 is the japanese spec and the yellow one is the european spec. Most of the photos online show the european red F40s with the orange light on the outer side
Well now I regret not pre ordering the Dino. They look beautiful even without the damn side mirror.

the rear wing on the F40 are different. The yellow one has the F40 logo on the end plate while red doesn't.

Hey John, why don't you showcase "Hong Kong tiny" models.. I saw they have some really good 1/64 accessories as well (traffic lights, dioramas, etc etc).. I know you have so many to showcase and now there are too many names coming up for 1/64 war. But just for food for thoughts!!
