Yes, yes! Utopia and Dystopia tracks, thank you! Those were amazing to listen to while discovering the puzzle lands. So very ominous, and such a beautiful dichotomy.
"When we train a large neural network to accurately predict the next word in lots of different texts from the Internet, what we are doing is that we are learning a world model. It may look-on the surface-that we are just learning statistical correlations in text. But it turns out that to ‘just learn’ the statistical correlations in text, to compress them really well, what the neural network learns is some representation of the process that produced the text. This text is actually a projection of the world." - A̶l̶e̶x̶a̶n̶d̶r̶a̶ ̶D̶r̶e̶n̶n̶a̶n̶ Ilya Sutskever, creator of GPT-4
Personal favorites: 1. 01:29:13 Southern 4. Certainly my favorite of all the puzzle music, just wish it played more often. When the 01:30:40 part is occasionally played after solving a puzzle, my 1k would literally dance around to it in sheer joy. 2. 00:17:38 Leaving the Dam. Instantly caught my attention when I heard it in the launch trailer; a bit sad that it's only used that one time at the beginning of the game. 3. 03:28:29 A Worlds Apart. This track is exactly as it was in TTP1 (not remixed), but the way it's used in TTP2, starting at 3:30:45, is simply perfect. It basically becomes a musical incarnation of Byron's words: "You did a remarkable thing. I'm proud of you." 4. 03:23:56 The Sigils of Our Name. Like others have said, this remix also gave me instant chills when it came up, especially given the scene it's used in.
after spending hours playing the marvelous game, when i reached the utopia puzzles and that ost started playing, holy fuck, i was in a state of trance, this game managed to make me feel something no movie or any other form of media managed to convey
Last night I finished the game and once I got to dystopia 2:05:50, it was chills all over my body. Absolutely amazing level. Edit: 1:44:16 is also incredible!
I've found where most of the unknown tracks either play in-game or at least their name on the OST. 02:04:30 is a variant of Before Was Only Chaos from Talos Principle 1. 02:09:42 is the ending scene where a figure holds a lantern in the Megastructure. 02:48:55 is Hope on the OST, though I'm not sure where it plays in-game. 02:51:17 is Byron's dream vision in the Certain Fathoms in the Earth ending. 02:52:43 is Mountains on the OST, though I'm not sure where it plays in-game. 02:57:32 is the ending scene where 1K visits Trevor's grave. The unknown track at 01:51:33 is the only one I couldn't place at all. All the Endings tracks listed in this video start with the same 1 minute track for the scene where 1K plugs into the Megastructure. Ending 1 is the Momentum Deferred ending cutscene where the Megastructure powers down, followed by the scene where Athena's family reunites in the forest overlooking the old city. Ending 2 is the Certain Fathoms in the Earth version of the scene where all the puzzles dissolve, followed by the woodland scene with the stag, then the 'normal' ending of overlooking the view from the dam. Ending 3 is the Leap of Faith version of the scene where all the puzzles dissolve, followed by a pitch-shifted Chasing the Spark from the scene where you use the Theory of Everything, then a new track when 1K creates the tree out of nothing. Ending 4 starts with a repeat of the Momentum Deferred ending cutscene where the Megastructure powers down, then a repeat the scene where Athena's family reunites in the forest overlooking the old city. Ending 4 has no unique material. Ending 5 starts with a repeat of the Leap of Faith version of the scene where all the puzzles dissolve, followed by a pitch-shifted Chasing the Spark from the scene where you use the Theory of Everything, then a new track when 1K creates the tree out of nothing. All repeated from Ending 3. Ending 5 ends with the 'future' ending of overlooking the view from the dam (the only difference from the 'normal' version is a slightly longer ending coda). Ending 6 starts with a repeat of the Certain Fathoms in the Earth version of the scene where all the puzzles dissolve, followed by a repeat of the woodland scene with the stag. Ending 6 has no unique material. Some notes on the Endings. For the 'puzzles dissolve' cutscene, the Leap of Faith version is an edit of the start of the powering down scene from Momentum Deferred that segues into the Certain Fathoms in the Earth version (listed under Ending 2) of the dissolving music. There's also an additional coda to the track found only in the Leap of Faith version (Ending 3). The scene where Athena's family reunites in the forest overlooking the old city is an instrumental of the scene with the stag, with an additional piano coda. All of the Eastern/Northern/Southern/Western tracks are on the OST, though I won't list each one in turn. Gold Puzzles Completed is titled Miranda on the OST. The Megastructure and New Jerusalem tracks on the OST are cutdowns/edits, with some unreleased unique material found in this video. New Jerusalem/Robot City 1 is a light variant of the New Jerusalem theme that plays as ambience before the briefing scene. All the Egypt music is reused from TP1, as is Simulation Start/Calibration Process (Welcome to Heaven). The only tracks unique to this video with no counterpart on the OST are Opening Quotes, Entering the Dam, Bridge Completed, Beach Party, Damjan's Guitar Cover of "Dance of Eternity", the unknown tracks I listed at the start of this comment, and all the Ending cues.
I never thought the Portal series would be topped in terms of interactive, minimalist storytelling and I am SO happy to be wrong. This game has to be up there with Portal 2 as a instant and timeless classic. And this is my favorite soundtrack since TLOU.
I've been playing TP2 recently after enjoying the first one, and I am so blown away by everything about it. They really managed to build a compelling story and cast of characters on top of what was a fairly lonely experience in the original. The music isn't something that stuck out to me at first but the more i play, the more i really appreciate how it responds to my actions - it's contemplative during exploration, focused and determined during puzzle solving, soaring and elated when resolving a tricky one, playful when chasing down a spark. The musical swings in tone match the gameplay so perfectly well, and as a result I'm more immersed in this experience than i ever expected from a puzzle solver What a terrific game and OST 🎉
Most epic music was Western Music 1, especially after finishing a challenging puzzle, the choir comes in with the string basses and percussion in the background....so epic!
1:25:15 gave me strong memories of Mike Oldfield's guitar work on Amarok, Heaven's Open, and most relevant - the soundtrack to the video game Tres Lunas.
The OST will be curated, with less incidental music etc, whereas obviously this collection is every music track (Regardless of purpose) in the game. Handy to have both, although Damjan knowing what every track is called helps a bit 😛
Haven't gotten around to listening to the composer's upload yet, but I have listened to your upload, and don't recall hearing the music that plays while freeing Prometheus. Did I just miss it?
Am I mistaken, or are the tracks Utopia/Dystopia missing from the OST? Their elements seem to be present in the OST New Jerusalem track but not the same..? Thanks for any info.
Those were written by Chris Christodolou, if you like this and haven't already listened to them already, you'll love the soundtracks to Risk of Rain 1 and 2
a-ma-zing work by Damjan & Chris, a whole masterpiece + ty for uploading them all, much appreciated (PS: 84 is not Trials, it's a Gehenna soundtrack called 'A Worlds Apart')
And the place where this track is used in TTP2 is absolute perfection. It becomes a musical version of Byron's words: "You did something remarkable. I'm proud of you."
I think Northern Music 1 and Western Music 2 are ambients like Southern Coast (south) and Grassland Ring (west) because I already heard them when I was looking for stars. And yeah.. look their chronometrage

Finally found my favourite track, West 1 (01:36:09). Absolutely majestic, wish it was 10 minutes long. Reminds me of Mechanicus OST and TTP1's Virgo Serena. I love the music in TTP2 but only this track for me carries the grand feel that I think the entire game deserves.
I was watching the gampley, and I heard this 55:30, i was going mad. The "anna na na na...." its just so melodic, could anyone tell me how its the name of that kind of music or the artist which is singing
It's all virtual instruments and voices, so no one is actually singing. Of course someone provided their voice for the vocal library, but I guess only the composer knows what he used
Northern 3 is such an emotional track, and for myself, despite being a north theme, I found it unexplainably warm... Also the instrument (that string/synth sound) at 1:14:13 is absolutely magnificent.
82- it is just partly track from TP1 but plays when we woke up Aphina. You must hear different because there is you can hear some added electronical sounds, piano, duduk and else cello and female vocal sound more stronger
I just got the full OST on iTunes but I was sad to see that the tunes for the Utopia/Dystopia section wasn't there... But I guess that's because they are part of the New Jerusalem part?
I'm partial to Western 2 and in the game I liked the female vocals megastructure track, but couldn't find it here. If it's in this playlist and someone has found which one, please let me know. It plays in the game after you visit it after completing the South region and have to free _____ in the megastructure.
I would very much like to have the capsule ride soundtrack. New Jerusalem/Robot City 2 is my favorite instrumental of all time. Heck, I would love to transition from capsule ride to New Jerusalem instrumental during my sleep. :) That would remind me of EPCOT Center from the 80s to the mid-90s.
- 67 - it is final visit of Megastructure when we will see the singularity (small sun) while flying on VTOL - 70 - android Damjan plays this one near goverment tower
(spoiler easter egg west 2) I'm trying to find the "Epic Movie II" track but I don't find it on this playlist... Is it somewhere ? Thanks for the complete soundtrack :)

Yes, yes! Utopia and Dystopia tracks, thank you! Those were amazing to listen to while discovering the puzzle lands. So very ominous, and such a beautiful dichotomy.
45:35 - Building Bridges is my absolute favourite. I could listen to it all day. I often stop at the middle of a bridge just to hear it longer.
Same! I've been waiting for this track to land online!
it reminds me a lot of "khadgar's plan" from world of warcraft. so good
Same! It's phenomenal!
It's got a very similar sound to the soundtrack of Into The Breach, especially the track Old War Machines.
The same; we can hear the same music in the trailer; an extended version could be cool :D
01:59:59 - Grassland Ring is such an outstanding composition. I thought there would be more comments about it.
This is really so depressing and the same time melancholic atmosphere in the game
So mysterious, sweet, nostalgic, modern and terrorific at the same time.
Official track is called "Is that a Puzzle" for anyone wondering.
The talos series is the most important games in the human history.
I wholeheartedly agree.
I don't know if I would go that far, but I love the series' hopefulness about the future of humanity.

Я думал музыку прекрасней первой части уже не сделать
01:54:42 masterpiece
Northern 1 is my favourite for sure. Great game!

The Talos Principle is one of those once in a lifetime experiences, its an Achievement. a tur testament that games are art, even beyond art
WAIT WHAT Theres gonna be a Talos Principle 2?! This video is my first info about this! Whaaaaat
Yep, finished it 2 weeks ago and now waiting for Talos Principle 3, LOL
Number 57 is the ending of 19 - Building Bridges soundtrack, plays when you finish a bridge and reach a tower
what is instrument in 02 - Opening Quotes ??

any chance you release this as a playlist instead of one ongoing video?
I'm sorry, but I won't upload 87 seperate videos. I'm sure they'll release an official album at some point, though.
Here goes the OST as separate files. If you still need that, be my guest!

@@Magierkabel thank you for sharing the music with timestamps!
@@teodorrrro thank you so much
western 3 has gotta be my favourite. so cool
2:18:33 The reprise of the first game's last puzzle is so great here!
The horn sound for Robot City reminds me of Thief: The Dark Project, Down in the Bonehoard mission. 19:36
Tracks 7 & 8 are also Egyptian musics from the 1st Talos.
Building Bridges is my personal fav
Any information on who wrote, who sang the End Credits?
Julie Elven
Amazing!
Damn... Seeing so little of people know about this game is making me sad. And 88 rate on Metacritic should be considered a warcrime.
- 67 - it is final visit of Megastructure when we will see the singularity (small sun) while flying on VTOL
- 70 - android Damjan plays this one near goverment tower
(spoiler easter egg west 2) I'm trying to find the "Epic Movie II" track but I don't find it on this playlist... Is it somewhere ? Thanks for the complete soundtrack :)
