I remember buying this game 2 years ago during a nice sunny spring. While exploring the world the sun was shining and through my open window a cool breeze came in every now and then. The setting couldn't be more perfect.
"False God" is by far the best. So much Tension. Goddam I love this game so much, I had no idea what I was in for when I first loaded up this game. Easily became one of my favorite games of all time.
Me too. Came for the puzzles, stayed for the metaphysically enchanting and in the end surprisingly humanly gut-wrenching story. Dem feels in the ending sequence :,(
this ending is in my top 3 of all times, it is so freaking wonderful. the kind of moment where you just sit still for 5 minutes afterward, enjoying your life
I have completed this game some time ago. Since then, it is forgotten in my library. Today, for some reason, I remembered it, and the first thing I did was coming here to listen to this splendid sountrack. And it almost made me cry, such was the emotional attachment I grew with it. See, I strongly believe that great games MUST have a great soundtrack. So that, when you listen to it, you instantly remember the great feeling that playing the game is. And Damjan did a marvelous job on that. Today, when I accessed this video, at the first chord everything came to me. That feeling, that ambience the music brings to the game. It was quite an experience. I logged in just to comment this. Because I think Damjan deserves it. Well done, sir.
I still remember the first time I looked at it. I thought: "What the hell is that..." and looked up just when the music hit 54:47 and saw the strom clouds circle the hidden top. It was such a moment of awe. The goosebumps were so real. :D
This game was amazing just finished it damn the ending was epic just to present a theory like this was incredible, am still in awe of what just happened. This is without a doubt 2001 Space Odyssey of Video games. Child program independence check [. . . . . . .]: PASSED
The OST was so fantastic I found myself just exploring the environments instead of doing the puzzles just so I could concentrate on the music. I've never encountered that in another game before.
The Forbidden Tower and False God have to be my favourites. The entire soundtrack is amazing to listen to while working and walking about the city. Thank you for the amazing soundtrack!
The game itself was already a very good game and the soundtrack made it even better, I stopped many times while playing to listen to it even though I heard it many times before, "False God", "The Forbidden Tower" and "The Dance Of Eternity" were my favourites, every track was great as they fit all so well together.
Heavenly Clouds was the best. The first time I entered the garden of the messengers I felt like so relaxed and happy. The sound of a bright stream along with the music just makes you lose yourself to the moment.
This game is by far my GoTY 2014, it left a huge impact on me and the soundtrack is a big part of it. Keep listening to it a work every day, thank you so much
This is simply beautiful. I got very interested in the game due to the fact that it is highly inspired by Portal (which is a game that I love), but what REALLY drew my attention was the soundtrack. I don't even own the game on Steam, but I'm probably getting it any time soon because of these two factors. Great job, the world needs more soundtracks like this.
"False God" chorals are epic!! :') My favorites are the medieval-themed songs, but all the soundtrack is a very, very, very great and talented job! Thanks Damjan!
For me, art is that which evokes emotions through beauty. Your music does just that. It always manages to move me to tears. The atmosphere of contemplation and introspection the pieces create, along with the sense of tranquil loneliness is just fantastic.
A lot of tracks from this game add a sort of beautiful loneliness to the atmosphere, perfectly capturing the way in which you're in an empty simulation that isn't even real. Greatly enhanced the game. Can't wait to hear your work in the sequel.
Your soundtrack is excellent - very intelligent and sensitive, and it adds a lot to an already great game. Certainly one of the better game soundtracks I have heard (and that's coming from a classical pianist who has played a lot of games). Thanks for writing it, and good luck in your future projects.
My favorite song is probably Virgo Serena because I love the haunting beauty of the music and the chanting. It really sets the tone for the game. Sigils of Our Name is also fantastic. Really, the whole soundtrack is great. I love the atmosphere
Heavenly Clouds is just so wistful... Makes you feel warm and safe in a way that a very fond memory does ...a brief moment of true joy that fades away in time.
Damjan I'm so glad I was able to listen to your beautiful music in the Talos Principle. Your music was excellent and always accompanied the mood of the current situation in the game. My favorites were the Forbidden Tower and Out there. They will be etched into my head for a while. Thank you! :) Looking forward to hearing more of your mysterious and beautiful music in the DLC.
Everytime you guys announce something new for talos (VR in this case - congrats!) I come back and listen to the soundtrack again. Outstanding game, outstanding music. Thank you
Damjan, I love your work! Both in Serious Sam and The Talos Principle. There's one thing that would make me happy right now - knowing, that you'll be the one to make soundtrack in upcoming Serious Sam 4. Can you do it? :)
I still cant understand how this soundtrack is so perfect. There is not enough perception in me that can get all the greatness of those scores. Please, tell me that even if TTP wont have #2 you will keep on creating music like that. Please, please, please!
I own a copy of the OST from a deluxe version of the game and all I can say is bravo sir. It is the only game I have ever played with the soundtrack on 100% of the time and no other music
Amazing music. Sometimes I just listen to this while working/studying. The Dance Of Eternity is one of my favorites. I just wish you had it go on a little longer.
Damjan, you've created a masterful soundtrack to this game. There are sequences that actually make me tearful, give me hope, inject urgency, and so many other emotions. I cannot wait to hear the soundtrack to the sequel! Really reminds me of the first Tomb Raider soundtracks by Nathan McCree.
I didn't want this soundtrack for free, so I bought it. hehe but thank you for uploading it! Magical music, Mravunac. It takes me places I have never felt before.
Damjan... you've outdone yourself. Truly masterful music for a masterpiece of a game. Not only the mood and music but the quality of cleanness of the sound, very impressed by the production values.
can't express how incredible this music is. so atmospheric and thought provoking. really made the Talos Principle experience what it is. Thank you for your work and sharing it! very moved.
Made of World perhaps the best track. He feels lonely during his travels in the simulation. And also the sadness of realizing that humanity is already dead at the time of the game. This track even brings tears to my eyes. As always, Demyan made an excellent soundtrack for the game. A truly composer of genius.
I finally got around to finishing this the other day. What a fantastic game. Just purchased this amazing OST from the Google Play store. I'd encourage others to do the same!
+tom0900060 But "fuck" is not peaceful at all. It's an orgasmic and intense activity. So maybe you should've said "peaceful as heaven". But then again, no one has ever seen the heaven. We do not know if it's peaceful or not. Neither hell. Maybe hell is the peaceful one. Or not. I don't know man. *hits blunt*
@Damjan I rarely comment on youtube, I've like 50 comments in 10+ years, but I want you to know that I listen to this OST every month (every week when I can) since the game came out. I can't think of a videogame with a better OST. It's so fitting for the game. It saddens me that after 5 years it doesn't have millions of views, you deserve way more credit. I repeat: I think this is the best OST in videogame industry, I hope you will do Talos 2 OST and many others.
I have to say, this is an amazing soundtrack, and the tower ending + music is simply amazing. Yes, I said it, if you haven't played it, CLIMB THE FREAKIN TOWER
I truly love this soundtrack, and the game was excellent. I rarely feel so satisfied after finishing something. Just completely competent and intelligent in every way. It wouldn't have been nearly as good as it was though without such an amazing soundtrack.
this is heaven, when part 2 dear mister Damjan Mravunac? I was like a child for christmas when i bought part 1 of Talos, cant wait to feel like that again, best experience ever.
just finished the "Road to Gehenna" Expansion. It really adds to the game and gave me a lot more to think about. The Talos Principle is easily in my Top 10 games of all time (and I don't say that lightly!). I think there were some new tracks in the Expansion, does someone know if you get them too when you buy the soundtrack for the main game?
One of the best original scores I've ever seen in a game. Definetely was one of the main elements that defined this game great atmosphere. I miss this in games nowadays, those who have the most well made atmospheres are the indie ones. It wasn't like that back in the day... oh well.
I think it's the time that we all accept video games as an art, it is actually a kind of special art because it's so interactive and "you're there", whatever that means. You're in this one. Anyway, I just love this game and the music. I arranged/performed a musical piece based on a theme of this soundtrack, which you can watch it or listen to it on my channel. Hope you enjoy it. I did this video, you know, to kind of thank Croteam and the writers for this marvelous journey and Mravunac for his great music which I really really enjoyed and to remind us all of how things can be when they are done independently and freely. Thank you Croteam and all the people who were part of this great game, and thank you Mravunac for your glorious music.
man I love this soundtrack and the game so much. Its a shame that it didnt get as much attention as it deserves! I hope Croteam is happy with the number of sales, because I dont want that developer studio to die. I hope so much that they announce Serious Sam 4 this year!
A truly wonderful soundtrack. It fit the mood of the game perfectly. It also duels as ideal studying or reading music! 11/10 I love many of tracks in here, but I think "The Sigils of Our Name" is a masterpiece that transcends its medium.
It sort of reminds me of some of the music from the Age of Empires 1 soundtrack. Almost like a sleepy dreamy version of it.. The Talos Principle soundtrack creates a very unique mood, one that I have never felt from any other music, except some tracks from Age of Empires 1. The music is very deep, and moving, but on an untouchable, philosophical way, that reaches deeper than your soul. I probably sound all new agey and BS, but I just cannot quite determine what the soundtrack does to me.
I remember buying this game 2 years ago during a nice sunny spring. While exploring the world the sun was shining and through my open window a cool breeze came in every now and then. The setting couldn't be more perfect.
amazing comment
When I was playing it was so hot outside the air conditioner needed to be on overdrive. Which is ironic because I was playing the desert level.
This game is so...unique. The story, the soundtrack, the philosophy...and it is challenging, very challenging. My kind of game! Amazing.
And infravalored :(
"False God" is by far the best. So much Tension. Goddam I love this game so much, I had no idea what I was in for when I first loaded up this game. Easily became one of my favorite games of all time.

Fully agree

Thank you very much, really appreciate it!
Your comment sounded like a time capsule from Alexandra Drennan.
i guess I am kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream new series online?
@Magnus Emmitt Try FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
@Ty Rocky yup, I've been using flixzone for since march myself :D
I was not expecting the game's soundtrack to be this good. Beautiful.
The music adds so much to the game. A good game made great by this soundtrack.
The voice of Erin Fitzgerald helped too.
It's not just the music, is the music, the scenario, the story, everything together that makes it a great game.
@@The-Nil-By-Mouth For a second I thought you were talking about Elohim and I was like "huh"
The Forbidden Tower piece still gives me goosebumps
I still remember the first time I looked at it. I thought: "What the hell is that..." and looked up just when the music hit 54:47 and saw the strom clouds circle the hidden top. It was such a moment of awe. The goosebumps were so real. :D
My favorite game of all time, made so much better with this music.
Enjoyment = True
I see what you did there, Sam.
if The Talos Principle = 1
Then Enjoyment = True
Epic music and many hours of gameplay made a great game
"many"
This game was amazing just finished it damn the ending was epic just to present a theory like this was incredible, am still in awe of what just happened. This is without a doubt 2001 Space Odyssey of Video games.
Child program independence check [. . . . . . .]: PASSED
+Emad Wolf are there multiple endings or just singular
***** no I think if you finished the star missions at the end the robot finds a cat so no ending is same just an extra scene.
okay
+Shockwave1794 There are 4.5 endings
Tom Imp really?!
Your Wisdom Grows... Amazing. Especially the part from 41:15 to the ending is just genius. What a game.
That and 14:20... I can't decide which is best
Your Wisdom Grows - 40:20
best song ngl
The OST was so fantastic I found myself just exploring the environments instead of doing the puzzles just so I could concentrate on the music. I've never encountered that in another game before.
A Sensation of peace comes to me everytime I play this.
Awesome music that orchestrates an awesome game.
The Forbidden Tower and False God have to be my favourites. The entire soundtrack is amazing to listen to while working and walking about the city. Thank you for the amazing soundtrack!
Heavenly Clouds is amazing.
This is one of the best damn soundtracks i've ever heard
It's pretty revolutionary.
This is one of the most beautiful, moving games I've played. Really gets under your skin.
Peaceful music play and Im staring at the ceiling when
*ALL ACROSS THIS LAND I HAVE CREATED*
SHIT!
The game itself was already a very good game and the soundtrack made it even better, I stopped many times while playing to listen to it even though I heard it many times before, "False God", "The Forbidden Tower" and "The Dance Of Eternity" were my favourites, every track was great as they fit all so well together.
I fell in love to this game more than I intended to. The soundtrack, story and level design fits together so damn well.
writing a philosophical paper while listening to this is amazing, really feel the pieces coming together
sometimes when im playing this game i just stop completely and listen to the music, it's so relaxing.
Heavenly Clouds was the best. The first time I entered the garden of the messengers I felt like so relaxed and happy. The sound of a bright stream along with the music just makes you lose yourself to the moment.
Now all that's needed is an "Elohim voices the Bible" audiobook!
***** Pretty sure he is God

For me, art is that which evokes emotions through beauty. Your music does just that. It always manages to move me to tears. The atmosphere of contemplation and introspection the pieces create, along with the sense of tranquil loneliness is just fantastic.
I could just sit there, on the shore at sunset, for hours instead of actually doing anything.
This describes my sentiments exactly.
Everybody does that secretly, perhaps this is why nobody finishes it quickly :D:D
Yeah, level 4/5 of world A was my favourite. The one on the big island/hill thing and there was sea and land. Just sat back and stared.
Well, you would have to be standing, of course.
A lot of tracks from this game add a sort of beautiful loneliness to the atmosphere, perfectly capturing the way in which you're in an empty simulation that isn't even real. Greatly enhanced the game. Can't wait to hear your work in the sequel.
Damjan, you are a genius... Thank you so much for this work, can't describe how much this music make me feel... Every track is a masterpiece.

Thanks for this. Your soundtrack was integral to my enjoyment of the game.
Of the games I've played, the sound/music for Talos Principle is my favorite bar none. Is there anything new in Road to Gehenna?
elviscera Yes, several new tracks
+Damjan Mravunac will the new tracks wind up in the soundtrack DLC?
+Tim Hicks They have already been added ;)
+Damjan Mravunac Would you upload the R2G new tracks to the youtube?
+Słońca Szum Will do!
Heavenly Clouds is just so wistful... Makes you feel warm and safe in a way that a very fond memory does ...a brief moment of true joy that fades away in time.
Congrats for such an incredible sountrack. Makes a fantastic game so much more enjoyable.
The music fits perfectly with the game, give me chills ! Awesome work !
Потрясающий саунд!
The music you made for this game is hauntingly beautiful. I'd like to thank you Mr Mravunac. I just can't get enough of this soundtrack.

Awesome soundtrack... Greetings from Brazil.... This ost is the soul of this game....
Absolutely breathtaking. "Your Wisdom Grows" is my favorite. The woman's vocals is so amazing and just melds with the ambience perfectly.
Everytime you guys announce something new for talos (VR in this case - congrats!) I come back and listen to the soundtrack again. Outstanding game, outstanding music. Thank you

I can't describe how awesome it is to hear that. Serious Sam without your guitar isn't the same :D
Congratulations on your soundtrack man, it fits the game perfectly!
You did an outstanding job.

This is one of the best, if not the best, soundtrack I have ever heard in a game. You Sir, are a genius. I tip my hat to you!
can't express how incredible this music is. so atmospheric and thought provoking. really made the Talos Principle experience what it is. Thank you for your work and sharing it! very moved.
Hauntingly beautiful. I heard it while watching a Twitch stream Talos Priciple and rushed to find the soundtrack on youtube.
So bad I can't leave a like every time I listen to this OST, again and again.
Made of World perhaps the best track. He feels lonely during his travels in the simulation. And also the sadness of realizing that humanity is already dead at the time of the game. One of the best games I have played in my life. he sound track I listen to everyday while working, takes me off any distractions.
Nice compositions. Incredible feeling each track.
This soundtrack sets the atmosphere beautifully... Well done @Damjan Mravunac, I hope you produce more ambient works
I can't stop listening to "Made of Words", such a perfect masterpiece...
Tears are falling. I love this music and the game. So cool together!
magnificent
nice work once again, mr. mravunac!
Amazing music man, i need more of this!

Crazy good music. Thanks for sharing this!
Awesome. Damjan, your music and Croteam's games together - what in the world could be that great?
wow..im lost for words, this game is so wonderful
whoever had the idea to make this game, thank you.
Beautiful soundtrack, perfect for the game's thematic. I like it :)
I have to say, this is an amazing soundtrack, and the tower ending + music is simply amazing.
Yes, I said it, if you haven't played it, CLIMB THE FREAKIN TOWER
This is a beautiful set of music, namaste friend.
Legendary soundtrack for a legendary game, a great sense of peace from playing it
One of best puzzle - games I played and the actual soundtrack is.. heavenly!
I've been thinking, why not commenting on the music, the development of it and so forth in the video through comments? :)
Awesome music, Mr. Mravunac.
Amazing!

One of the best original scores I've ever seen in a game. Definetely was one of the main elements that defined this game great atmosphere.
I miss this in games nowadays, those who have the most well made atmospheres are the indie ones. It wasn't like that back in the day...
oh well.
This music makes the game complete. Excellent soundtrack.
so relaxing
Beautiful
Really love False God..such a masterpiece work
I think it's the time that we all accept video games as an art, it is actually a kind of special art because it's so interactive and "you're there", whatever that means. You're in this one.
Anyway, I just love this game and the music. I arranged/performed a musical piece based on a theme of this soundtrack, which you can watch it or listen to it on my channel.

I very love all OST by Damjan Mravunac!! Very amazing and genial man!
man I love this soundtrack and the game so much. Its a shame that it didnt get as much attention as it deserves! I hope Croteam is happy with the number of sales, because I dont want that developer studio to die.
I hope so much that they announce Serious Sam 4 this year!
Mega game and Soundtrack ..greetings from a Indie Game Developer :)
A truly wonderful soundtrack. It fit the mood of the game perfectly. It also duels as ideal studying or reading music! 11/10
I love many of tracks in here, but I think "The Sigils of Our Name" is a masterpiece that transcends its medium.
Talos soundtrack has always reminded me to "LOST" soundtrack for some reason, both so amazing and enjoyable.
