    Thanks, i installed Clayton 2.5 overland on my 392, i set the track bars to their suggested starting length, but i wasn't sure exactly where to measure to dial it in, seems pretty straight forward, thank you for sharing your knowledge

    Good informative video, would have like to have seen exactly where you put the straps on each end even though you did describe it. Picture is worth a thousand words or in this case a video. Thanks!

    Excellent video. I am just confused with the ratchet strap hook up you had. If your frame was further away from the wheel on the drivers side, then to even it out should the ratchet strap not have been the other way. I mean attached to the passenger side frame down to the axle so it would ratchet the frame towards the drivers side and lessening the distance between the drivers side frame and drivers wheel???

    What was the torque setting you used for the jam nut? Also, did you remove the track bar before tightening the jam nut?

    Nice job.. I’m guessing that
    I need to lengthen my bar
    2.5” since I added 2.5” spacer’s

    I see what you did there with the straps and measuring the lenght. Can you also just measure the tire popping out from the fender with leveling kit on the group and ruler and make sure its same inches ? Ive seen some people who that way so not sure which way is easier. As long as the "untucked tires" are popping out same length should be fine right?

    I purchased my JL with a spacer lift from the dealer. Steering has lots of play and a wobble when I hit a bump . Will this help .

    Why wouldn’t you set the trackbar to where the axle naturally sits after the original is removed? Wouldn’t forcing it one way or the other possibly make things have stress on them?

    I have just received my 2019 Rubicon and have had installed a 2 inch Mopar lift kit. Is it mandatory to switch the track bar? Is the original track bar no longer sufficient? I am not a mechanic and I would appreciate your input. Thank you in advance for your reply. Keep up the good work. I love your videos.

      Go with the Rough Country or similar, WAY easier to adjust. I went RK, I would do RC if I had to do again.

      Thanks for watching and the kind words, if you installed the mopar lift it is recommended that an adjustable track bar be installed. The lift was designed to stay close to the factory geometry when using the factory wheels and tires, however when you add larger tires, the distance is more noticeable. We offer a variety of track bars for your JL including this JKS track bar.

      @@CJBroncoF150 I have read and seen people say if you don't go over 3 inches on lift you don't need a adjustable track bar. but i have the the mopar 2 inch lift which actually lifts it about 3 and with 37 coopers sst pro tires i can't stop it from changing lanes to the left when i let go of the steering wheel. I do have adjustable control arms but that didn't help. my alignment was done right and is spot on should i get this and it will stop the pull to the right ? and it's not the tires they are brand new with 400 miles on them and i only have 12,000 miles on my 2018 JL Rubicon. I was also told to get a new adjustable ball joint and that will or sure fix it. But most shops say they have never had to put a adjustable ball joint on a brand new 12,000 mile jeep what's your opinion on that also ?

    Boss, i have a 18 JL with factory length and i want to upgrade my track bar to this. Will it work for 0” lift? Is that the part where you lined up the holes of the two?
    Some store in delaware told me my jeep needs to have a lift of 2” at least in order to have an aftermarket track bar.
    My main objective is to fix the wobble because after research, thats what most people said that can fix the little wobble after bumps
    Any feedback is appreciated bro. I will driving up pa one day to have a mopar 2” lift at your shop

      This one will work with a stock JL. Just put it on mine with a 2" and I love it.

    If you only do the front track bar after lift, shouldn't the rear track bar (or frame) will be misaligned?

    • @CJBroncoF150
      @CJBroncoF150  5 років тому +2

      The rear of the jl does not see the same amount of upward lift as the front, since the JL has a factory rake towards the front, the rear is only picked up about 1-1.5 inches, meaning you will not need a rear track bar.

  • @TWBigCat17
    @TWBigCat17 Рік тому

    If replacing the track bar on a JL that isn't lifted, are the tie-strap steps necessary, or can you just line up the bolt holes?

      Hi. I had the same question. I have a teraflex level
      Kit 2” front and 1.5” rear. And without any adjustment the bolts slipped right in and didn’t make a difference in the ride. Still wobbles …

    Question is a Adjustable Track Bar, the Yeti with is adjustable in the center, and the JKS Track Bar is adjustable at the end, some people say the track bars that have the adjustable in the center are not that good because the center is not solid it's a tube that connect both sides together. the ones adjustable at the ends are all solid much stronger. what do you think?

      That is what people are saying. I have the full JKS lift on my jeep and this track bar is top notch. I also have the rear one.
