      Why did you ditch the single RC stabilizer?

    Just finished my install of this kit. Pretty simple, however, the instructions mention to remove the tie rod on the passenger side to remove the 2 bolts holding the bracket for the factory stabilizer. This is not necessary. Turning your wheel full passenger gives you more than enough room to take those bolts out. The More You Know🌈⭐

    Follow up: Two years in and my RC steering stabilizer has died, with one strut seizing. Not sure I’d buy another as I feel I could get a better product (Fox, PSI) for a similar cost and better longevity. Was happy with it while it worked.

    Just installed this morning. Made a huge difference in the steering on first impression. Stiffer more stable and direct responsive steering. No wandering of the Jeep as much. Not bad for $130 and a Saturday morning with my kid.

      @@alanphillips1344 factory recall replaced it with a new stabilizer. Still wanders.

    Someone told me that with my sway bar disconnects, the steering foot (can’t remember the name of it) will hit this when you’re articulating disconnected. Is this true?

    Moon dog, thanks for the advise, I was laying under my 2020 Wrangler and couldn"t figure why I
    need to Take the tie rod off, I could leave the bracket there, that a lot of work that doesn"t need to be done.

    Would this work with the Mopar 2 inch lift on 35's?

      I'm sure it will man. My gladiator has a 2 in with 35s and the install went smooth

    curious, i see that you just tightened all this up with ratchet an wrench, is there any specific torque the shock end bolts are to be tightened to? or just real good an snug...? lol

    Do you have to lift or jack the Jeep up? It seems like I can do it without a lift...

    • @BluRazor
      @BluRazor 5 років тому

      You need to so the wheels will hang otherwise you can't access some of the bolts

      I did it with the tires on the ground with no problems

    I was looking at this dual steering stabilizer thinking two might be better than one for my 2020 2DR JL Rubicon. Our host is replacing a Rough Country stabilizer with the dual set, so maybe that is an affirmation. However, I currently have a TeraFlex Steering Stabilizer Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 mounted. That is $259 and about double the cost of this Rough Country dual stabilizer. Is there that much of a quality difference in the parts, or are we just paying for the TeraFlex brand name?

    • @ssnydess6787
      @ssnydess6787 3 роки тому +2

      Brand name. Another plus for this is that it positions the stabilizer above the bars and more out of harms way.

    • @ssnydess6787
      @ssnydess6787 3 роки тому

      Yes, as he says you have to lift it up enough for the front tires to clear the ground. This makes the most extended position for the shocks and their attachment brackets to get the geometry right.
