Don't expect any entertainment on budget airlines... or any specials ... so please be more humble about that since you flew very cheaply to Turkey, don't ask more than what you have paid.. otherwise... be cool.. Take care..
Hey guys, I’ve just discovered your channel and I’m loving the vlogs. My husband & I used to travel a lot before we had kids, but it’s few and far between now, so I’m going to live vicariously through you!! Stay safe and keep vlogging. From the U.K.!!
Trains here in the UK are notoriously expensive unless you book in advance or travel only short distances. For longer trains even booking in advance the day before can be cheaper- the rail card is also incredibly useful! :)
Will you be seeing Gobekli Tepe while there? It is not very touristy yet as it is pretty recently discovered and only just opened to public. It is the oldest known archaeological site in the world (10-12,000 years old). It is close the border with Syria which scares a lot of people away.
@@oguztokur3673On the scale of Turkey, it is very close to the border. Generally speaking when people travel they are more afraid to go to an area which borders a more volatile area. There are very few tourists that make there way to that part of Turkey. I personally can't wait, we are planning it for our 2020 trip.
@@TheBeardedVagabond i understand the situation.i assume you love history.that discovery changed a lot in history books.and they are still digging it to the older layers
Eeee! Welcome to Cappadocia. If you're in Goreme, go check on the bindweed plant in the hotel reception. I saw it when it was only 3 years old, back in 2010. I'm curious whether it's eaten the entire hotel yet. :) If you're walking down the gorge, yes you can climb right up inside the old carved-out dwellings ... if you're not bothered by vertigo.
Yay not just food! I love your foodie videos, but I'm looking forward to seeing some scenery and culture! I figured the sound in the cave room would be echoey or something but it sounded great - did you have to edit the sound quality in there, or is it already self-dampered?
Riley Murray I agree. I’m watching their earlier vlogs as well, and seems that lately it’s more about food than scenery, things to do etc. I can’t wait to see some more adventures.
You kept saying "we are on time" and I was thinking please don't jinx yourself. I like your travel days because you always give us tips like putting in your card at the ATM then select english. I don't like it when things go wrong on your travel days, weird airBnb's but I like to see how you work through the obstacles. We are just starting to travel more and I hope to adopt your attitude of plan your trip but roll with the punches. So glad that you two bought those coats. You seem to be more comfortable walking around outside. Thank you for giving us the prices of things like the lounge that you went to for the layover. I thought they were more expensive but now I will check out the day rate when we travel.
welcome to turkey. There is no in-flight entertainment because pegasus is budget airline. next time try Turkish airlines. its an interesting situation that atm is not english language option in sabiha gokcen airport.. because most of atm's has english option in turkey. i wondered which bank it was..
Believe me, the bus takes a LOT longer than 2 hours to get to the airport! When I had to go to London for my visa stuff for moving to the US, I timed the bus the first time for a 2 hour ride to the airport and it took around 3 hours and 15 mins. I only caught my flight back to Scotland as it was delayed. The second time I got an earlier bus, 2 hours earlier so 4 hours before my flight and I got to my gate right before it was closing.
we wait you again in our Country and hope that its in a springtime with much better Weather and maybe you travel the West Coast( From Troy& Gallipoli ) to the South Coast ;) It was a to Short visit ....
when you visit istanbul, dont only visit the famous sights such as hagia sophia or taksim, i suggest you to visit the coastline between sarıyer and beşiktaş where you can see the finest ottoman architecture in historic summer houses, old palaces such as dolmabahçe and çırağan, and mosques. you can also visit museums such as the one in the çırağan palace, borusan contemporary, istanbul modern or istanbul archeological museum.
YOU GUYS!!! Another incredible vlog!!! 6am is the perfect time to wake up- and now I've watched this I bloody cant wait to book a trip to Turkey!! Ahhhhhhhh looks incredible!!
Well done the UK! Expensive trains, confusing airports and grumpy staff! (Not all I know but enough to make an impression) . What fabulous resolve you two have in overcoming all the experiences of that travelling day. I laughed at the security x ray issue (WTF!)😂😂😂. Another slick video. Looking forward to the next one please.
At 5:50 in the video, those look like crawfish you were eating.....try to remember, "don't eat the dead ones!" When crawfish are boiled live, the tails curl up like into a "C" shape and you know they're fresh. When a crawfish is dead when it's boiled, the tail will stick straight out and bend down at the tail fins in the shape of a "J". You won't catch a Cajun wasting his time peeling a boiled crawfish with a straight tail because who knows how long it was dead before it was boiled with the live crawfish. Hence, "don't eat the dead ones!"
Turkey♥️♥️♥️♥️ I am extremely happy that you will be covering turkey.. wanted to see it through your videos.. I would love to see Allison react to various dishes..her reviews are honest..n I love her reactions😁
Hi. Greetings from Malaysia. I've been watching your vlogs for quite some time. I really love watching your travel day videos..please make more travel day vlogs. Take care😊
I find it cheaper to buy train tickets using the train line app you can buy in advance and save money on almost any tickets, maybe for next time it may save you a little
I bought 6 12 ounce bags of coffee beans out of Seattle. I made the mistake of stacking it and laying USB cables over it. On the xray machine, it looked like a bomb. Yep, not doing that again.
I've been watching you since the Nando's vlog. And i really love what you are doing and producing. Very entertaining viewing and I love the frequency of your vids. Tonight I decided to help by joining. Shut up and take my money. And keep doing what your doing. # living the dream. And come back to Scotland soon. Please go further north, Orkney is unreal. You have to see it go in early spring see the northern lights.
Thanks for coming along on the adventure. We really appreciate the support, it really means a lot 😊Northern Lights are high up on our bucket list, hopefully we can get back to Scotland soon!
Are these the same roller bags you guys reviewed before? Do you ever find yourself using the backpack feature? Or is it more practical to just lift it when you absolutely have to?
Yep, those are the same ones! We actually haven't used the backpack feature yet, so it might be less important than we thought 🤔Loving the bags though so far 👍
Looking forward to seeing you guys experiences in Turkey, loved the videos from your various UA-cam friends. Food videos in particular should be exciting. Train prices in UK suck, at least the trip to Stansted was pretty easy though.
For airports in the London area, you are travelling out of London. This is why it costs more for travel. Make sure you book trains and planes in advance in the UK, to make travel cheaper 😀
I once had a huge German lady swipe a piece of cloth on my camera, look at me sternly and said "if this piece of cloth makes this machine light up red you're in trouble" .... I almost shat myself :P I'm glad the experience you had was with some friendly guards :)
I've not been to Cappadoccia, but Istanbul is great, so historic, and wonderful food. It's a little sad compared to a few years back (I organised a trip there for 115 people there in 2012, and the coup and crackdown on alcohol since then has caused a number of restaurants and hotels to close), but is still lovely. Ayasofya is an awesome building, as are the cisterns. And there are still plenty of great restaurants.
I can’t help thinking that those people who pushed in at the border control line were likely from a Russian Flight. The exact same thing happened to me in Antalya when they just very rudely pushed into the queue.
Keep it real guys! As you get more popular, don't totally commercialize yourselves to make a "buck" like your competitors! You've got my "vote". Thanks for everything! If "y'all" ever come back to New England, let us know! Peace!
Two things: 1. Train travel in the UK is expensive especially if you buy on the day 2. Stansted is one of the worst airports. Avoid when possible Enjoy Turkey!

Well... Turky is a very undemocratic country. Many political prisoners. 😨😨😨
Don't expect any entertainment on budget airlines... or any specials ... so please be more humble about that since you flew very cheaply to Turkey, don't ask more than what you have paid.. otherwise... be cool.. Take care..
It is an absolutely beautiful place, Cappadocia, went there 4 years ago!
Jeanne Cordua lucky! I can’t wait to go!
Try and visit the town called SIDE if you can lots of Roman ruins in the area. Was once a small fishing village.
08shunter ...visited Side about 30 years ago...very interesting...few people and loved it!
Loved the aerial views of England and Istanbul.

Looking forward to your vlogs as Turkey is a country we have yet to visit.....Enjoy !!
Welcome to our lovely country. I hope you will have fantastic moments. I am very excited to see your videos about Turkey. Big fan btw.
Thanks for watching, gad to be here! 🇹🇷
Travel days are some of my favorites, even though I can't imagine how hard it is to film! Kudos to you for making it look great.
Eric and Allison your videos are not too long because they are so fun I enjoy them a lot cannot wait for more
Aww, thanks 😊
been a staunch viewer of yours for many years, hope you come again and I'd be glad to give you a nice tour of my city of İstanbul 💫
in the uk if you travel by rail before 10am the price is much higher. its a way the rail companies rip you off.
Welcome to my country. I am the Grand Vezir of Turkey.
London is just such a great hub for travelling! Brits don’t know how good they have it!!
Train travel is only cheaper if you book way in advance here in the UK otherwise it can be expensive.
even booking the night before can reduce the price. They text you a code which you punch into the ticket machine when you get to the station
Yeah I had bought my tickets for Stansted about four weeks in advance and paid 18 pounds for both ways.
If you use easybus os sooo cheap but its 1hour to 2hours
Trains here in the UK are notoriously expensive unless you book in advance or travel only short distances. For longer trains even booking in advance the day before can be cheaper- the rail card is also incredibly useful! :)
Been in Göreme end of september this year, it was awesome.

That sounds like an awesome adventure!!
No its not that close to syrian border actually and there is a "border".

nice to have you welcome !
Hey guys, you can prebook the trains to stansted next time and they will be cheaper :)
You have to book a few weeks ahead though and not always that much availability?
Flying The Nest's series made me want to visit Turkey. Can't wait to see your take on it.

Most ATM's has a multilingual option, but it only appears after you insert your card ;-)

I've heard that Istanbul is a must-see location! So far in Turkey, I've only visited Izmir; but it's a start 😉
YOU GUYS!!! Another incredible vlog!!! 6am is the perfect time to wake up- and now I've watched this I bloody cant wait to book a trip to Turkey!! Ahhhhhhhh looks incredible!!
How did u guys organise a driver to pick u up? Was it the hotel/accommodation organising it?
Pegasus is one of budget-friendly options in Turkey. Turkish Airlines is alittle more pricy but more luxury.
Welcome to Turkey 🇹🇷 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Next time you need to take the Stansted Express, buy your tickets online beforehand! It's cheaper especially if it's a little in advance :)
Standsted is 40 mins away from me. It’s in Essex but is called a London Airport xx safe journey
