@@russellbelliveau1694 It truly is. It does need a bit of tweaking. The strip off plate is too thin (bent already) and needs a shutoff for the hydraulic, so the filter can be changed without losing all hydraulic oil.
@@dereksstuff8395 that’s good to know it’s new so they will tweak stuff and if you’re like me we can do a bit of tweaking as well. Do you ever get something you can’t split? I’m concerned at the low tonnage?
@@russellbelliveau1694 I've only had 1 piece of hickory (so far) with a full blade attempt. I just slid the block out an inch or so, and it pushed right through. It's all about the "angle of attack" with the tougher wood
They have the speed!!! Needs to be foot pedal!! Bigger table love the log kick out
@@rogerl8488 I prefer my "knee control" that I developed. I have a bad foot. I explain in a video about building the knee option
That’s quick!!
@@765Guys It sure is. THANKS Genin
Looks like it does well. When I looked at them a few months ago I was concerned about the tons rating.
It does work well. I'm almost done with the hickory, then will move on to the beech.... that will test it!
Ordered mine yesterday seems like a great machine good price reputable company thanks for the video

@@dereksstuff8395 hey bud, by “strip off plate”…do you mean the circular one that is on top where the ram stops on the upstroke ?
@@mikesherman2612 Yes.
Make it run up and down constant and you could get it done way faster
Ha! Not sure my fingers could move fast enough to get the hell out of the way! Thanks!
Would love to try one of them.
@@hayesrutherford9415 If you were near the Adirondacks.... I'd show you mine!
Are they gonna make a foot pedal for this model splitter?
@cutNdryfirewood It is in production. I will be fabricating a foot control.... more videos to come. Thanks!
How many tons pressure is this?
@@sentrysal7212 It's only 7 tons, but the wedge is tapered nicely, so it works quite well.
