The fact that it's been months and still no answer on how to change the setting to "Flip to answer" as noted on the manual is telling. Got this phone for my grandpa and its worse than his last flip phone.
@@LeonJones-kj9ic It's a piece of crap, that's what happened. I regret getting this awful phone for my grandfather and also regret going to the store where I got it cuz the guy was SUPPOSED to be helpful.

Will anyone answer how to find "Flip open to answer" option in the settings on this phone? It states it at "2.2 Answering or rejecting a call", but not in the manual or online does it explain how to set that option to "On"
Hi, I’m looking for the same issue. My mom is 91y/o and she’s having a difficult time trying to answer her phone. The previous device was easier for her, just flip open and answered. Please reply if anyone knows about this. Thank you all.
I got this phone as my new phone and ya know what? I can't even be upset over this, because I wanted a flip phone for only calls and texts. And indeed that's all it's good for, it has a terrible camera and terrible browser and no Google or downloading any apps. But it does well with texts and calls. Although you can't use any emojis you have to type them out like :) or :( ya know? Anyways I still have my Moto G if I ever want to play games on a phone or watch UA-cam on a decent browser lol
Is this phone compatible with call blocking my 90 yrs gma has dementia and will call out random numbers but is it compatible to call block or restrict calling out ?

I got desperate and contacted the help desk. I got a call back from them saying that the flip to answer function is still in development. Eventually there will be a software update that will fix it. 🥲

This is exactly why I came here to figure out how to flip to answer because my Uncle broke his last phone and we had to get a new one
