Will Smith really made Genie his own, it was impressive. But nothing can ever top Robin's Genie. His voice-over work was literally game-changing!!!!! Robin walked so Will could Run.
Every time I seen this movie made me smile. Especially the scenes with Genie. I’ll definitely show this animated movie to my son when buying him the blu ray for his birthday in few months. Yes Robin Williams was an incredible voice over for Genie. 😊😊 RIP Genie. 5 years almost till his passing. It broke my heart hearing how he left the world. Oh, man. This list just made me love the original Aladdin movie even more! I also enjoy how the Genie can be as genuine with people as he can be humorous. There’s that moment right before Al went to see Jasmine when he put the pizzazz aside simply told Al to just be himself. And kudos for giving an honorable mention to the live-action remake.
Totally forgot that Dan did the voice for Genie in some of the animated versions. He was actually almost as good as Robin and I can't imagine anyone else who could've taken on that role. This makes me want to go back and rewatch all the movies again, nice video :)
Some of the Genie's best moments were in King of Thieves! Telling Al he needs a bachelor party, dismay at the elephants trampling the carpet then realising it's redundant, using the elephant as a air blower, all of the song There's A Party in Agrahbar, the Lifestyles of the Rich and Magical bit, plus the scene cheering up Jasmine which was all improvised by Robin Williams!
They should've hired Dan to play Genie in the Aladdin remake. Not only does he still have the chops to keep going as Homer Simpson. But his performance as Genie was almost on par with Robin's. Manic, zany, off-the-wall and lovable. No disrespect for Will Smith...but he's far too calm to play such a character

Yeah the line has a whole new meaning I haven’t watched Aladdin for a few years after Robin Died. I knew that part would make me cry out of all the celebrities deaths his hit me the most. I watched that movie last year and when I heard him say “I’m free I’m finally free” I lost it I cried like baby because he was the perfect genie. I hoped that he would reprise his role if they ever thought about making Aladdin in live action. But Robin his death hit me the most it felt like I lost a family member.

They should've hired Dan to play Genie in the Aladdin remake.
Not only does he still have the chops to keep going as Homer Simpson. But his performance as Genie was almost on par with Robin's.

“Code Red” is by far my favorite and most memorable Genie moment.
Yeah the line has a whole new meaning I haven’t watched Aladdin for a few years after Robin Died. I knew that part would make me cry out of all the celebrities deaths his hit me the most. I watched that movie last year and when I heard him say “I’m free I’m finally free” I lost it I cried like baby because he was the perfect genie. I hoped that he would reprise his role if they ever thought about making Aladdin in live action. But Robin his death hit me the most it felt like I lost a family member.
