yes this is the long way. I often get the wetlands flight point in dun morough at like level 6 or so after completing the quest a favor for evershine vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?quest=319 if im a non-hunter dwarf or gnome. Then you can go directly north. do the suicide, then hearth back, or fly to ironforge so you can start getting the stormwind / westfall redridge flight paths and do some high xp per hour quests in elwyn like the billy quest line / inspecting the mines etc. Joanas guide shows how to do that jump from dun morough, but its basically at the north of the zone close to gnomer on the west. YOU 100% do not have to run through wetlands. Its really really slow, like adds 20 meaningless minutes to your run.

Hello, first of all thanks for this amazing guide. I noticed that the list of quests that you pick up in Darkshore at around 25:00 is incomplete. You also picked up Cave Mushrooms and The Tower of Althalaxx. Also Strider Stew is called Easy Strider living. Thanks again for creating such a quality content, its helping me a lot.
Just a note, I do grab a few extra quests in darkshore because I couldn't remember which ones I needed and which ones I didn't - we didn't end up doing cave mushrooms during this first cycle so accepting it isn't necessary even though I did.
Thank you so much for these videos. Giving me so much nostalgia. I have grown up and got too much responsibility so I’m not sure if I will be able to play classic wow (or any games), but this certainly is bringing me the good memories of my young days. Thank you.

For those Who are playing on the Old Classic Servers or Classic Based Hard Core, note that many of the gold making tricks that were published by many folks on videos no longer are true. Example: Taking Linen and turning it into bandages to sell actually earns you LESS than selling the Raw coth to a vendor, the same with the Vendor value of Linen when you turn it into Bolts of Line, you actually lose money doing that. Makin Low-Level (non- attribute enhanding except Armor) Linen Gear also is a lost leader, don't bother with it unless you need the skill ups, it costs more to make than the value if the components. Same happens with Leather at the Low Levels. Bliz changed the system sometime after the initial re-release of Classic and its now reflected in the other versions and the surviving original servers.
When you are going to wetlands, your suicide shortcut doesnt work as it puts you back at thelsamar graveyard. I tried the dun morogh mountain suicide as well, it put me back at Kharanos graveyard. (Classic beta). Reviewing your stream vod, I might not have done the Dun Morogh suicide correctly, so it might still work.
First of all - always strip your character before suicide mechanics. Second - do not hearth ironforge at 14. Hearth after hunter lodge quests. Run out of IF go northWest of Dun morogh. Jump over the mountain in direction o f Wetlands and Spirit res right near the town you need to go into.
Very correct! If you've been watching me do the run on stream, this and some other tweaks I already plan to make when I re-upload the parts of the guide with mistakes :)
I’m immediately subscribing I’m level 19 and stuck and what to do apart from killing mobs, knowing which quests and proficiency’s to get is very useful.

If you are going for speed, yes - darkshores xp/hour is too high. The quests are bountiful and so easy to complete, 'walk up to a red crystal? 1300xp. talk to a dead sea creature? 1200 xp. Read 2 tablets? 1500xp.' by comparison, loch modan has quests asking you to kill 10-20 mobs, or westfalls 30mob kill quests. Darkshore is just miles above them
@@Domeran Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. Personally, I HATE leveling, I did it twice in Vanilla in 2004-2005 (both warriors, different servers) and its a total pain in the ass to me. I'm sorry if you said it and I missed it, but if I follow this guide, what would you estimate is time played to 60 as a warrior? Thanks again.
The flight to IF and run to the northwestern part of Dun Morogh takes a lot longer than you think it does. Overall its quicker to just run through wetlands from my experience. Also you skip on some exploration XP and we don't know if the "ress to wetlands" approach is even possible in classic.
@@depravedregime5288 I'm referring to certain mechanical and experience changes. For instance, the direction of a fleeing mob is random, not always away from aggro.

If you are going for speed, yes - darkshores xp/hour is too high. The quests are bountiful and so easy to complete, 'walk up to a red crystal? 1300xp. talk to a dead sea creature? 1200 xp. Read 2 tablets? 1500xp.'
by comparison, loch modan has quests asking you to kill 10-20 mobs, or westfalls 30mob kill quests. Darkshore is just miles above them
@@Domeran Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. Personally, I HATE leveling, I did it twice in Vanilla in 2004-2005 (both warriors, different servers) and its a total pain in the ass to me. I really love the game at 60 though (pvp and raiding) so I bear the pain to reap the rewards at 60. Thanks for explaining why its a good idea to go.
I'm sorry if you said it and I missed it, but if I follow this guide, what would you estimate is time played to 60 as a warrior? Thanks again.
Im a level 14 human rogue that is pretty much done with westfall. Is it worth me following the quests in this video?
Yea cause I rushed to redridge and u ain't gonna be able to do shit there without 4 other ppl
@Hakurai If we are playing night elf, should we just do dark shore and skip loch from the start?
Yes, and do Loch later around 14-15
@@Domeran Wow, thanks for the reply man. Love your guides man, you are helping a lot of people lol. Thanks and keep up the awesome work.
Isnt it faster to fly IF and die west in Dun Morogh and ress just outside town in wetlands?
The flight to IF and run to the northwestern part of Dun Morogh takes a lot longer than you think it does. Overall its quicker to just run through wetlands from my experience. Also you skip on some exploration XP and we don't know if the "ress to wetlands" approach is even possible in classic.
@@Zwiebel4 It worked fine in the last stress test for me.
The attack bar timer for the enemy is slightly longer than your attack bar timer. Please correct this.
Phil... come on man 😂
i jumped off the cliff same place but i ended up in Loch modan ! :D jump as far as you can i gues
Same doug
@@stoffe010 Same haha
Very detailed series, however I believe there are enough changes that have been announced for Classic that will make these guides somewhat obsolete.
Nope all these quest will be active! Just learning where to go is worth its weight in gold!
@@depravedregime5288 I'm referring to certain mechanical and experience changes. For instance, the direction of a fleeing mob is random, not always away from aggro.
@@EcksTheGuide oh ok
why is he skipping westfall and going to the dwarf areas?
People often make the mistake to go to westfall way too early and struggle with an overcrowded zone and not reaching DM levels by the end of all questchains in westfall. There are some nice synergies in this guide. Just follow it, it will make sense later on.

for a warrior +priest duo speed lvling .. any one thinks whirlwind quest is worth it? seems like it takes up 2 long to finish and will couse us fall behind
Yes very much worth it, the speed you kill mobs with the whirlwind axe is way worth the downtime IMHO.
As Alliance go for Bonebiter instead it is easier and could end up with more awesome loot in the process.
Get your whirlwind axe done at 30, it's so busted for that whole stretch to 40, then go for bonebiter from the SM quest chain.
