You have to create a helper row above the day row and with formula you have to generate Saturday number, and based on that value you have to conditional formatting.

This is a single month attendance sheet. you have to copy the main sheet when you need it for the next month. And in this video I have you will get the monthly report separately for each month. If you need to get the for full year you have to do it yourself or wait for my next video on attendance sheet in google sheet.

In this sheet you can do for one month only. But it is obvious that you need it for next month, so after creating this sheer keep it as master. Then when you need a sheet for next month , just copy it from the master sheet. I will create a google sheet so that attendance for whole year can be done.

Actually this is a single month attendance sheet where you select a month and do your attendance and if you wish to do attendance for other month then you have to copy the master sheet and change the month name and start your attendnce. But in the next update of this file I will add the feature so the if anybody select any month then that will automatically created and for existing months it will move to that sheet.

To make relative cell reference to absolute cell reference, click on the cell reference and press F4. Suppose your cell reference is C6, place the cursor in the cell reference and press F4, it will be $C$6

You can use Data Validation for that, Select the range
=C$1>today() use this formula in custom data validation
row1 is date row.

Master sheet is for creating attendance sheet for respective month , then you have to use Copy button to create the final sheet.

Right click on the Master Sheet tab and click copy, then rename the sheet as month name.

Right Click on the sheet tab -> Copy To -> Existing Spreadsheet -> Select the sheet -> Click Select -> Rename the Sheet.
