Loved the step by step. Planning to homeschool and this is exactly what I needed to keep track. ❤

Super glad that you found this helpful!
And this should be possible. If you could send me an email at info@spreadsheetlife.com, it will be easier for me to show you how to do this there.
Thank you so muchh👍
You are so welcome! 😊
Its very useful i did the same....tracker was superr....but i need to add sick leave and privileged leave kindly guide
So glad you found this tutorial useful!
If you'd like me to add custom functionality to this template or build a different type of tracker for you, you can always send me a request at this link. spreadsheetlife.com/custom-development/
This is for advanced learners
I do my best to demonstrate the step-by-step process to make it simple to follow along, and I also try to include some advanced features so even seasoned Excel users have new things to learn. 😄👍
this is very useful and clear to follow. thank you. but my percentage column is not properly working in the summary sheet. I have done exactly as you have shown but my C column (that reflects the D column in numbered percentage) shows up as ###### if there is any data on it. if there is no data, it just shows up as 0%. it works fine for the monthly sheets but I cant seem to find the problem for the summary sheet. could you please help?
I can help for sure. Could you email me your file or a screenshot at info@spreadsheetlife.com? This way, I can more easily take a look at it for you.
Thanks so much, I've been trying to make an attendance tracker for ages. Is there a way to separate the percentages (yes% or no%) or make the X negligible?
You're very welcome. 😊
I'm not sure what you mean by separate the percentages. Could you clarify a little for me?
As for the X. If you never enter an X, and only enter Y and N, then the Attendance Tracker will still work just fine. Does this answer your question?
Hi Thanks for responding. Is there a way to show a percentage for y and a percentage for n instead of combing them as one. Hopefully that makes sense. Im new to excel 🫤🤯
Of course! Yes, this is possible. If you'd like, send me an email with your completed spreadsheet. I can add in those percentages for you on the Summary page, and then send it back to you with a brief explanation. How does that sound?
@@spreadsheetlife That is amazing.. thanks so much!!!🙂🙂
=IF(COUNTA(F4:AJ4)0,0,1-AM4/COUNTA(F4:AJ4))
What can I add to this formula in order to add a date range as a criteria as I want to make a weekly tracker?
What an interesting idea. To better answer your question, could you give me some more details about how you would like your weekly tracker to work?
good day can you help. I want to count the X for (excused ) with my percent
I will do my best to help for sure! So as shown in the video, all X (or excused absences) will be counted as Yes values essentially for the percentage. Are you wanting to have the X count as a No instead towards the percentage?
The =sum(jan:dec!al4) formula gives
me an error. Can someone advise?
You are welcome to send me an email with your file attached, and I can take a look at it for you.
The =sum(jan:dec!al4) formula gives
me an error too! How can I fix it
Hmm...it's hard to say without more context. Send me your file at info@spreadsheetlife.com, and I can take a quick look at it for you if you'd like.
How can I only calculate the Yes's for attendance?
In other words, are you asking how to write the formula so that only "Yes" counts and both "No" and "Excused" do not count?
@spreadsheetlife Yes, just need to record the Ys. Also this tutorial was incredibly helpful ❤
I'm so glad to hear that this tutorial is helpful!
For the formula, change the formula at 18:50 to the following.
=IF(SUM(F6:H6)=0,0,F6/SUM(F6:H6))
This will make it so only Yes will count towards the percentage.
