I bought the wrong z axis gimble and need to change the spring back to a standard osmo z axis Do you happen to know what size the spring is for this!!!
So, I got the eclip out but I can't slide that rod over far enough to get the spring out. Here it looks easy, but is there some trick? Or is my pin longer?
Hey Eric, Yeah sure. I attached a link above to where to buy it from home depot. I will link it here a gain www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-7-16-in-x-1-1-2-in-and-7-16-in-x-2-1-2-in-Zinc-Plated-Extension-Spring-4-Pack-16109/202045464 But basically it's the shorter one the "7/16 in. x 1-1/2 in." Remember to put tape down the arm to protect it from harming the wires. Good luck!
Hey there. Hmmm with my experience, the X5 adapter just fits right on in. Think of it as putting the adapter on the osmo. The z-axis is just an extension and should just fit in. Trying fitting it on the osmo if it's new. Might just be a little tight. Let me know if this help.

Awesome 👍 thanks freind
I'm confused. why not just buy the Z axis that DJI created for the X5 attachment? it's on their site.

Thanks for this video. I tried to attach the x5 adapter to the z Axis but the rotating lock doesnt seem to fit. Any modifications needed there?
