Bank fished Whiskey Slough, Empire Cut and Middle River Sunday 9/8. Landed 3 bass all on zman jerk shad. Tried frogs, chatterbaits, squarebills and whopper plopper. Only strikes were on the jerk shad. The zman jerk shad floats, so what I was doing was getting it dive down in the holes in the weeds and then just bumping it under the surface without moving it forward. Saw you out there too, you past by twice
Thanks for the report-was going to say we must have passed each other. Slow AM topwater for me but as the tide started-about 9:30 things started to pick up. Jerk bait on the out side of the Veg. in about 5 ot 6 feet of water. Got some nice ones up to about 4 pounds with a few keeper stripers. Lots of rats. Was out this AM and the off shore pattern held up but the fish were not as big-may have been the location. Both days were not easy fishing with the fish jumping in the boat. Anyone catching fish should be congratulated
Launched out of Big Break at 6 on Tuesday. High tide was at 5. Fished until 2. 1-2 lb class Fish were out deeper holding close to wood structure (shipwrecks) and Deep grass. Caught dinks off the shallow grass on drop shots closer to the launch. Biggest fish came on punch when the tide was switching between low outgoing to low incoming. Had a 30 minute bite window at the mouth of dutch slough with a 2 lber a couple 1 lber and a nice 4 lber before the wind picked up. Frog got a couple bites early in the morning but none of the fish committed.

Thanks for watching Chris. First I would ask to watch my video Thr Delta-seperating the regions finding launch ramps. This will give you a better idea of North South East West as the delta goes. Big break has lot's of good fishing close by but if you're looking to branch out I would try launching at Risso's and you will have a ton of fishing around Franks Track. If you have a more specific question hit me up and we'll do our best to get you in the game. Thanks again for the support.
Last three weeks have been decent. Plenty of dinks but have been able to catch a few 4 pounders. They seem to want slower moving baits like worms, Ned, drop shot and jigs. Like you were saying plenty of fish in the trough as well.
Good info Steve the jerkbait got me a few months at the house.... i pulled it out with braid after a few IPA 's i didn't want to go the Sacramento emergency room 😂😂😂 sad story i know...
Took 2 trips to the delta this past week. Caught limit stripers in 30 mins. 5 hour trip end up catching a about 8 with a handful of miss bites and losing them on the fight and lots of bass. 2nd trip did not duplicate 1st trip but still had a successful day. Lots of bass, biggest one was a 5 plus lb 19.5 inch.
Keep a jerk bait on and fish the out side weed edge. Was out yesterday and that was the pattern. Let me know how you do. Secondary pattern was a whopper Plopper. Good luck.

Had a 20 fish day last week with a 5.6lb large mouth. Launched from paradise. Most fish in the 1-2lb range.
