I think I have praised your informative channel enough, for so many times, up to now.
This is the first time I ( I am sure, most of other laymen like me too) hear, in very plain language about the major categories of spare parts we encounter day in and day out.Up to now, I was of the opinion that we have genuine spares, used ( reconditioned) spares and duplicate spares ( of different quality levels) only. Since I started viewing your instructions, about two months ago, I have come to the realization that we need to, as far as possible, get our spares from the branded company. You also spoke about the franchise dealers. But I do not know if we can fully rely on them too, as the spares market is so corrupted the rogue suppliers could even work hand in hand with the franchise dealers. You mentioned about the supply of duplicate spares in genuine packing. This situation could arise mostly when we buy from franchise dealers, I feel. Thanks for all this information which has opened my eyes to these realities.
Finally, does your institution (AHTA) hold franchise for spares of Toyota vehicles?
