This is fanart, but I feel maxie's outfit takes inspiration from the military suits hugo boss designed for nazis. And it fits so damn well. You are not afraid of the SS because they are strong, but because they are cold, merciless, and have total disrespect for human life. You can tell maxie shares some of these traits, so this makes a good source of inspiration

Actually, the abilities that Primal Groudon/Kyogre have are based on which of them is sent out first, so, as long as one is sent prior to the other, it wouldn't cause any sort of game-breaking issues. But, at the same time, I can see the possible teams they could have used involving their Sharpedo & Camerupt, Kyogre & Groudon, and perhaps a Huntail & Magcargo.
It would actually be pretty amazing if they had every villain team in the game and they fought with eachother over their own ideals and you had to take them all on before they end up destroying the world with their fighting over their respective legendaries
The US/UM went with a theme that's for the original version of Maxie and Archie, also in my opinion it had the theme of just how far Pokemon has come. But that's just me commenting on a year old comment
I mean, the one we got was not bad, it fit the whole style of the fight, since you are in the Festival Plaza I believe, so the one we got would feel more techno. This theme feels like team Rainbow Rocket came into the real world to fight you.

It's obvious how Maxie would be related to the Pokemon incarnating the sun, Solgaleo. As for Archie, the moon has great effects on the sea, especially on the tides. So maybe the associate with the evil team of Lusamine and studied how Necrozma could be a way to control these pokemons and make sure they stay in their control, but of course that wouldn't work... Yes, I think their synergy is amazing in this game. It would be very surprising too.
