We see that Legends arceus takes place in a sinnoh back in time I’d love to see Nintendo pump out games like this more. For example maybe a game where in USUM you canonically lose to Necrozma, and you world is surrounded in darkness, I could imagine that you have to hop through different dimensions, chasing it down to retrieve the stolen light
Or what if they made a legends Necrozma showing the origins of the UBs and Ultra Space Perhaps you're a normal human who gets sucked into an Ultra Wormhole and end up stuck in Ultra Space with no obvious way to return home, so you adventure through different parts of Ultra Space meeting fighting and catching Ultra Beasts while also learning this werid dimensions history This would also basically allow for a whole Pokedex worth of Ultra Beasts which would be cool as hell
@Phoenix Lozano you guys should play stuff like pokemon insurgence/rejuvenation/reborn. The writing is a bit cheesy at times, but it feels like a full on final fantasy-story with dimension hopping, actually godly legendary pokemon, plottwist and stuff
Does anyone else actually understand why they both win? Since Palkia was killed, space was freaking out, which explains the split timelines. Necrozma can’t actually win against Arceus, but because he absorbed Victini he couldn’t lose, meaning he would win anyway. However, in an alternate timeline, Arceus wins, since he is literally the Pokémon god.
You know, I’ve always imagined legendarys having voices. Angry and rude on Mewtwo, Booming for Arceus, loud and powerful for Ho-Oh. But I always imagined Ultra Necrozma with this calm, polite voice. It just seemed to fit, both functionally and ironically. Sure, it’s a huge behemoth, but why would it have ill will toward you? You (unintentionally) gave it what it wanted - Solgaleo/Lunala. -Guy
For Ultra Necrozma, I almost imagine a very calm but sinister voice, like your classic Bond villain. It just gives off that aura of "I'm not scared of you, go play in the corner." I don't know, that's my take on it.

You know..... this theme fits perfectly. Necrozma was theorized to be based off of a prism. Without light, there are no colors. Necrozma doesn't want to stay the dark anymore, so it will take the light by force and will destroy any who try to stop it with that light. Made me lose 10 times cause of that level spike and DAMN PHOTON GEYSER SHIT! its like Game Freak purposely did that to say, "how does it feel to be on the other end? You will know the pain of getting swept!!!!"
That's called a boss, really common in other videogames where not everything need to be balanced for multiplayer. If only most legendaries had a "rage mode" making them uncapturable in this state and with stats sharply boosted so they are actually threats when it comes to "the world is in danger" moments...Meeting them would have way more impact than the usual 10sec masterball fight.

I'm sort of in love with the concept of a Pokémon itself being an antagonist. Not because of the control of some evil group, it's just outright evil. And Necrozma does that perfectly. It shows *no* mercy against anything, especially against Lunala/Solgaleo. It ruthlessly took their light and became a god. And honestly, we need more antagonists that are Pokémon themselves.
The Blinding One isn't outright evil, it's quite the opposite. No one is purely evil in the USUM storyline, not even the people living in the Ultra Dimension who are undisputably at fault for Necrozma's behaviour. But they left it no other choice. Did Nebby deserve to be parasited? No. But what else could've been done? Not steal its powers in the first place? That's too late to think about that. The only evil it truly did was humiliate nuzlockers :D And that is also why Eternatus is such a disappointment. It deserved way more than just be a McGuffin.
Well necrozma isn't necessarily evil It's stated to be in constant pain after the ultra recon people experimented on it. Before that it was presumably kind like the other legendaries
Necro is much pretty much like Mewtwo. It wasn't evil because it wanted to harm others but simply because of their sufferings whi twisted their minds and personality. Mewtwo was experimented upon, treated like an object to nuke several regions at once, a weapon only. While Necro is always in constant pain when it's light is taken away which is preferably because of all experiments performed on it b4 it turned violent. If we're looking for a pokemon who's totally evil then it's Eternatus.
Terminal creating a forked timeline was the best use of "alternate endings" I've ever seen in media. There was a logical reason for time to be broken (Dialga dying) and there was a logical reason for Arceus to lose (Victini absorbed) and not lose (literal God of Pokémon).

Using Zoroark transformed into a Fighting type pokemon (Kommo-o) allows me to one shot U-Necrozma with Foul play. I never realised that name was a really good one before.

To be fair, a rat can beat almost any Pokemon in the game. Legendaries and Mythicals included. You need either status or priority to win regardless of species. FEAR can even beat Arceus.
I absolutely love Necrozma's theme because it sounds like you are truly fighting as the last hope for the world (or at least Alola's last hope) to regain its light. This isn't a battle about right or wrong, its a battle for hope. This remix just makes it so much more obvious. To be honest, I am depressed I somehow missed this gem for TWO freaking years! Edit: Realized that auto correct changed "abvious" into "anvil's" when I thought it would correct it into what I was trying to type: "obvious." Auto correct fails yet again.
A. I don't think you've fought this thing. Take 5 minutes to think. He's an Omniboosted, level 60 (which if you're doing a Wonderlocke, your level limit is 65) powerhouse with 186 in SP.ATK, my Delphox lived with 61 health after an X.Spdef, and toughed it out because of friendship the next turn, only to die to a crit. The entire fight is either luckbased or cheep cheesing, and if you didn't get an Aegislash / used the Focus Sash, good luck! because that's all you got going for you, is luck. I just happened to get a Mudbray at one point, and that saved me, but what are the chances that anyone else will? I'm sorry this fight is Poorly designed, but think about what you say.
You know damn well that Ash's Pikachu would've used his exclusive Z-Move but supercharged from all the Electric Legendaries and would've destroyed Necrozma.

I was exposed to this masterpiece for the first time as I entered Labradorra city in Pokemon Reborn for the final confrontation with Team Meteor. You have no idea how this track has changed and influenced me for the better. Thank you for your hard work. I love your music in all three of Pokemon biggest fangames. Thank you a thousand times!
Seriously though, the assault on Labradorra remains one of my favorite moments in all of Reborn, together with the assault on Agate City. There's something about seeing all these powerful and competent gym leaders all come together to literally assault and liberate a whole city.
Logan The Lil-Beast when you are doing a nuzlocke if your pokemon faints you cant use it anymore. so if all your pokemon in your party faint you are game over. and the battle against ultra necrozma is impossible cause that thing destroys your team. so your party is dead. so thats why ultra necrozma burns the nuzlockers.
You know, I've always considered Ultra Necrozma to be the biggest potential threat to the Pokemon universe/multiverse. Light is a type of energy, and pokemon have a ton of energy. I've considered light to be an EXTREMELY significant part of the pokemon universe for a long time (such as when pokemon evolve, Mega Evolve, Z-moves, Dynamaxing, etc) This means that Necrozma who devours light can do so to other types of energy. And Arceus can't do much, because in the anime/cartoon/whatever, it shows Arceus using Judgement (his most powerful attack, ignoring the games) and it manifests as beams of light which Ultra Necrozma would find to be a nice snack. If Arceus represents energy, then perhaps Necrozma represents entropy.
Legends Arceus lore literally shot that idea down because apparently, Arceus is an extradimensional god that has the entire infinite pokemon multiverse in its head as a thought. The fuck-

Legit how I felt when I got that reverse sweep with Ultra Necrozma in Gen 8 National Dex AG on Pokemon Showdown. My team: Gothitelle, Mewtwo (with Mewtwonite Y), Lugia, Calyrex-Shadow, Lunala, and Necrozma-DM (with Ultranecrozmium Z so that it would become Ultra Necrozma). My opponent's team: Yveltal, Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, Mega Rayquaza, Arceus-Dark, and Calyrex-Shadow. Long story short: I was down to Necrozma, and he still had Rayquaza (with only 1 HP left due to Nasty Plot boosted Psystrike), Calyrex-Shadow (whom my Lugia paralyzed earlier, and was at 68% health thanks to an Aeroblast from my Lugia), Ho-Oh, and Yveltal left. Me: Necrozma can see the light... My opponent: Really? Rayquaza, use V-create! Me: Yes... *Ultra Bursts Necrozma-Dusk-Mane to transform it into Ultra Necrozma* Me: YOUR light! *My Ultra Necrozma (which I nicknamed Galeem) proceeds to reverse sweep the rest of his team after using one Dragon Dance. His Mega Rayquaza did hit my Ultra Necrozma with one last Extreme Speed, but ultimately fell to Photon Geyser. His Yveltal gets rekt by Stone Edge, his Ho-Oh is reduced to atoms from full health by Light That Burns the Sky, and his Calyrex-Shadow is finished by Earthquake* My rating at that time: 1710 -> 1733 (+23 for winning) My opponent's rating at that time: 1770 -> 1747 (-23 for losing)
@@dinodan1214 Arceus has a 720 BST while the Mega Mewtwos and Mega Rayquaza have BSTs of 780. What elevates Rayquaza above Mewtwo is its ability to hold an item since it needs to have the move Dragon Ascent, which is basically Flying type Close Combat, to Mega Evolve instead of a stone.
The concept of all the primordial legendaries of reality (kalos legends, sinnoh legends, hoenn legends, etc) banding together to beat ultra necrozma is so cool

Actually, some people thought that Light Type would have been introduced in Gen 6 instead of the Fairy Type. And I have to admit that the Light Type could have been very intersting, especially knowing that we already have Dark Type.

I’d love to see Nintendo pump out games like this more. For example maybe a game where in USUM you canonically lose to Necrozma, and you world is surrounded in darkness, I could imagine that you have to hop through different dimensions, chasing it down to retrieve the stolen light
Would be epic and probably one if not the most popular pokemon game
Or what if they made a legends Necrozma showing the origins of the UBs and Ultra Space
Perhaps you're a normal human who gets sucked into an Ultra Wormhole and end up stuck in Ultra Space with no obvious way to return home, so you adventure through different parts of Ultra Space meeting fighting and catching Ultra Beasts while also learning this werid dimensions history
This would also basically allow for a whole Pokedex worth of Ultra Beasts which would be cool as hell

Does anyone else actually understand why they both win? Since Palkia was killed, space was freaking out, which explains the split timelines. Necrozma can’t actually win against Arceus, but because he absorbed Victini he couldn’t lose, meaning he would win anyway. However, in an alternate timeline, Arceus wins, since he is literally the Pokémon god.

You know, I’ve always imagined legendarys having voices.
Angry and rude on Mewtwo, Booming for Arceus, loud and powerful for Ho-Oh.
But I always imagined Ultra Necrozma with this calm, polite voice. It just seemed to fit, both functionally and ironically. Sure, it’s a huge behemoth, but why would it have ill will toward you? You (unintentionally) gave it what it wanted - Solgaleo/Lunala.

You know..... this theme fits perfectly. Necrozma was theorized to be based off of a prism. Without light, there are no colors.
Necrozma doesn't want to stay the dark anymore, so it will take the light by force and will destroy any who try to stop it with that light.

That's called a boss, really common in other videogames where not everything need to be balanced for multiplayer. If only most legendaries had a "rage mode" making them uncapturable in this state and with stats sharply boosted so they are actually threats when it comes to "the world is in danger" moments...Meeting them would have way more impact than the usual 10sec masterball fight.

I'm sort of in love with the concept of a Pokémon itself being an antagonist. Not because of the control of some evil group, it's just outright evil. And Necrozma does that perfectly. It shows *no* mercy against anything, especially against Lunala/Solgaleo. It ruthlessly took their light and became a god. And honestly, we need more antagonists that are Pokémon themselves.
The Blinding One isn't outright evil, it's quite the opposite. No one is purely evil in the USUM storyline, not even the people living in the Ultra Dimension who are undisputably at fault for Necrozma's behaviour. But they left it no other choice. Did Nebby deserve to be parasited? No. But what else could've been done? Not steal its powers in the first place? That's too late to think about that.
The only evil it truly did was humiliate nuzlockers :D
And that is also why Eternatus is such a disappointment. It deserved way more than just be a McGuffin.

Necro is much pretty much like Mewtwo. It wasn't evil because it wanted to harm others but simply because of their sufferings whi twisted their minds and personality. Mewtwo was experimented upon, treated like an object to nuke several regions at once, a weapon only. While Necro is always in constant pain when it's light is taken away which is preferably because of all experiments performed on it b4 it turned violent. If we're looking for a pokemon who's totally evil then it's Eternatus.

Terminal creating a forked timeline was the best use of "alternate endings" I've ever seen in media. There was a logical reason for time to be broken (Dialga dying) and there was a logical reason for Arceus to lose (Victini absorbed) and not lose (literal God of Pokémon).

There are 2 types of guys : those who takes Photon Geyser, and those who brought Zoroark.
Tfw you're both (Though I never used Zoroark. Instead, I used 'Zard and Decidueye (with Zard being a bad choice because Power Gem), both of which were maxed on Refresh...good god, those two just did not want to die, less Decidueye as he hang on 1 hp to TWO Photon Geysers)
Using Zoroark transformed into a Fighting type pokemon (Kommo-o) allows me to one shot U-Necrozma with Foul play. I never realised that name was a really good one before.
And I’m the one that brought zoroark and never used it ._.

I absolutely love Necrozma's theme because it sounds like you are truly fighting as the last hope for the world (or at least Alola's last hope) to regain its light. This isn't a battle about right or wrong, its a battle for hope. This remix just makes it so much more obvious. To be honest, I am depressed I somehow missed this gem for TWO freaking years!

He's an Omniboosted, level 60 (which if you're doing a Wonderlocke, your level limit is 65) powerhouse with 186 in SP.ATK, my Delphox lived with 61 health after an X.Spdef, and toughed it out because of friendship the next turn, only to die to a crit.
The entire fight is either luckbased or cheep cheesing, and if you didn't get an Aegislash / used the Focus Sash, good luck! because that's all you got going for you, is luck.
I just happened to get a Mudbray at one point, and that saved me, but what are the chances that anyone else will?

You know, I've always considered Ultra Necrozma to be the biggest potential threat to the Pokemon universe/multiverse. Light is a type of energy, and pokemon have a ton of energy. I've considered light to be an EXTREMELY significant part of the pokemon universe for a long time (such as when pokemon evolve, Mega Evolve, Z-moves, Dynamaxing, etc) This means that Necrozma who devours light can do so to other types of energy. And Arceus can't do much, because in the anime/cartoon/whatever, it shows Arceus using Judgement (his most powerful attack, ignoring the games) and it manifests as beams of light which Ultra Necrozma would find to be a nice snack. If Arceus represents energy, then perhaps Necrozma represents entropy.

Legit how I felt when I got that reverse sweep with Ultra Necrozma in Gen 8 National Dex AG on Pokemon Showdown. My team: Gothitelle, Mewtwo (with Mewtwonite Y), Lugia, Calyrex-Shadow, Lunala, and Necrozma-DM (with Ultranecrozmium Z so that it would become Ultra Necrozma). My opponent's team: Yveltal, Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, Mega Rayquaza, Arceus-Dark, and Calyrex-Shadow. Long story short: I was down to Necrozma, and he still had Rayquaza (with only 1 HP left due to Nasty Plot boosted Psystrike), Calyrex-Shadow (whom my Lugia paralyzed earlier, and was at 68% health thanks to an Aeroblast from my Lugia), Ho-Oh, and Yveltal left.
Me: Necrozma can see the light...
My opponent: Really? Rayquaza, use V-create!
Me: Yes...

The concept of all the primordial legendaries of reality (kalos legends, sinnoh legends, hoenn legends, etc) banding together to beat ultra necrozma is so cool
