Not sure if it was intentional but I kinda both like and hate(mostly like) that they made Illuminati ending more evil/sinister. They removed JC Denton voice line about helping people, used more sinister and evil sounding music, and the visuals look more evil, showcasing more similarities between it and the intro cutscene it makes the ending feel like "Oh sht, what have I done!"
Finished today Deus Ex The Conspiracy, but it was the pc version, first time i played was on ps2 and i was founding different the endings in pc version, now i understand why
They aren't that different, the biggest change is Illuminate ending in PS2 version sounding and looking more evil. They removed Denton's voice line about helping the people, they replaced the music with more sinister version and those visuals on both of them looking at "Invisible hand" monitor is just *chills* This is compared to PC version that almost looks ambiguous on whether or not you made right call, in PS2 you definitely joined the baddies 💀
@@danielsurvivor1372i was talking more specifically the cutscenes animation, cause i was finding it was very different from what i had played in ps2 on first time. But i agree with your point.
Thanks for the PS2 cutscenes edit.
That John Milton quote, along with the music always gives me chills…
It's about time I found versions of DX: The Conspiracy's cutscenes that aren't complete potato quality

PS2 had the best cut scene visuals.
PC has better dialog for cut scenes.
But tbh they should've left the PS2 version in both versions.
