I'm in the UK with BT fibre to my house (FTTP). I pay for 150 mbps down, 30 up but have only ever got about 70 mbps down over WiFi. Upload has been 30. However, I used TCM Optimiser with the settings as per the video for custom setup and it took me to 135 Mbps down and retained the 30 up. Well impressed. Thank you Liron.

Just upgraded to Comcast 800 mbs Extreme pro plus. Prior to this , speedtests averaged 445 mbs . After applying the 3 methods here , my speed went to 965 average ! All I can say is wow! Thanks Liron. Of all the things I tried, this along with the TCP optimizer was golden !
I did the steps as you were doing them, rebooted and then ran the speed test afterwards and my internet speed did increase a little bit more so thank you!
I used this guys one trick to check my MTU size. Guess what, 1500 per packet size was too big, kept getting rejected. Once I adjusted the MTU, my 2015 MacBook Pro rocks again, Thank you

Interesting. Base speed test for me was 152 mbps down and 11 up. After fix still hovering around 150. Had one lower and had one higher at 162. Up stream the same at 11. But what I noticed was how fast the speed shot up than before. That is the difference for me and I like it. When I click I am am getting much faster response time.
This worked for me and has increased my d/l speed by 200mb. It has also stabilized my connection as my speed used to dip whilst using the speedtest app.
I tried your settings and it actually REDUCED my download speed from before. However, I decided to try the "optimal" setting in tcp optimizer and it increased my download speed from before I tried your method.

Everyone's systems are different - that is why I already create a restore point allowing you to undo any changes. There is no way I could create a video that will suit 100% of the people unfortunately.

The CMD scan did find and fix some errors, so that was great. I got about 14 more download, but lost over 20 more upload. The pings are a bit better for both. It's comparing nearly gigabit numbers. edit: Whatever happened, it made YT download videos like it did for me ten years ago instead of that staggered loading. You fixed the biggest issue I have short of getting a new computer after ten years.
Liron- I followed step by step- slight change. A few points on the upload to 10.60. 96.78 from 94.62. Ping- 36 to 34. It feels like the whole thing went backwards. Should I get a Wi-Fi extender? I look at the speed on your computer- mine is a very slow snail! Whaaaat!
In your instructions below the video, just after *SDC /Scannow* command (I removed extra space after slash mark shown above) the next command reads *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth* However, in the video, you showed the ending command operator as *ScanHealth* so that the whole command should read: *DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth* This version worked for me.

Ping went from 16ms to 17ms. Upload speed went from 33.76 to 35.69Mbps. Download speed went from 113.03 to 101.71Mbps. Not complaining, just reporting. Thanks for the vid, it was worth a try.
Followed along with the video and did every step (fortunately including the restore point). When I rebooted, Windows 10 could not find my desktop and the start button and search box no longer worked. Fortunately, I was able to right-click and the taskbar and get to the taskbar settings screen where I was able to use the search box there to get to the system restore and restore the system to the point before any changes were made.
On my laptop (HP Envy), some of the power options you show were not available. I created a power scheme that matched your settings as close as possible, but, for instance, the hard drive settings were not there at all. I made the rest of your suggested settings, but the speed comparisons were pretty much the same, near the cap of my ISP (75 MBPS/10MBPS). I do have the restore point in case I get some unintended effects later on, but rn it's too much work to change back.
This was a GREAT video! Love the app! I set it to optimize and it worked great! Went from 8mbps to like 400 :) I had some weird issue with my ethernet that is now resolved... my internet was very fast on all devices but the PC!
Unfortunately the changes made using the optimizer software made my internet speed slower...... 2 pieces of advice...1. Make a restore point. 2. Take out your cell phone camera and take a pic of every screen before and after the change making it easier to go back

Hi Liron! These settings did work but in terms of applying them but I saw no change in my internet speed. I guess maybe the TCP optimizer is last updated to Win 10 PRO and not Win 11. I am on 11 now. Maybe we could do an updated version for Win 11 ? Thanks for all that you do!
i lost 1 MB download speed however my ping increased by 2, although my internet hasnt really approved, i would take those odds of having a lower ping connection. Thank you!
@@keyk2060 I was having a similar problem ... the solution to my problem was the router was an old N wifi and the wireless card in my laptop was an AC .. this is backwards compatible but it slowed the connection down .. I put in a $10 USB wifi that was N and got full speed .. I plan on getting a new router so I can have my USB port back for other things
I got a 7.5-8% speed increase. I found that I had to stop-start the video to be able to follow it. I would suggest that for a process as involved as this, you might accompany it screen shots for the TCPOptimizer part.
All I'm going to say is holy shit XD. I test at 315mb on the test, I was wanting to try and figure out how to boost my speed, so I can download games faster on blizzard and steam. After I did everything, my test tested 975mb download...... my upload was increased by like 10-15, but that download speed was crazy.(obviously you have to have the internet for it). But after saying that my blizzard download before was peaking 45-50mbs now peak was 125mb and stays around 90-98! Thank you so much :D
One of the oldest tricks I used to do was giving Windows XP or Windows 10 or whatever I have on a computer, only 1% or the internet to work with to update windows, which is fine considering you are downloading the update in the background and not trying to download otherwise... this is helpful when you are working with the computer and download speeds get slower because Windows is trying to download an update in the background.

And as you know there is a lot of software in your computer and from time to time you must clean your computer ,there are a lot of computer programs you can clean your computer. But there is also a lot of software in your modem and in your router but no programs to fix that,what to do? unplug your modem and router from flow, wait 3 to 5 minutes and connect them again so your modem and router are clean and ready to use. Do not turn it off and after 3 or 5 minutes on that doesnt work. And now your internet is not longer slow. Thumbs up for Syd.🤣 grazi,grazi,grazi mille.

I went from 140/41 wireless to 724/41, I have 1200 I know I am not going to get that on the wireless but man what an improvement.

good! That is why I always make a restore point before any changes. You may have a conflict with something on your system which caused this.

You can always pause ⏸ and why not just watch on the computer and follow along? Have youtube open and the app open and follow along. Just an idea.
I'm having trouble seeing it on a laptop screen. I keep having to go back and forth between full screen and normal to make the adjustments.
My speed just went up to 325!! Thanks!! I thought it was capped at 300. The wireless card on the other laptop caps off at only 150.

if your pay for, lets say 50Mb/s, and your speedtest say "around" 50Mb/s, don't expect faster speed than that.

Worked like a charm went from avergaging 200mbs to 500mbs but only my system i set the RTO to 3000 and it really became stable then

I just took a second WiFi card, connected it to the open wifi from the office next door, bridged the connections, and voilà, more than double speed.

And as you know there is a lot of software in your computer and from time to time you must clean your computer ,there are a lot of computer programs you can clean your computer.
But there is also a lot of software in your modem and in your router but no programs to fix that,what to do? unplug your modem and router from flow, wait 3 to 5 minutes and connect them again so your modem and router are clean and ready to use.
Do not turn it off and after 3 or 5 minutes on that doesnt work.
And now your internet is not longer slow.
