As an owner of a 96' S500 that I've driven 225k+ miles, this is a respectable video. Highlighting the plastic vs metal cam oilers is spot on and about the only thing an M119 engine will ask you for. That is a unique spec with the leather and reclining rear seats without being an S600 or Grand Edition. The long wheel base W140 is sooo nice to cruise in.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! "El Presidente" will be missed, but I'm glad that it has gone to be with another W140 enthusiast.

The middle seat belt is under that seat cushion, you have to snug your hand in to take it out or to lift the whole seat cushion and then you have it out😁

    The differences between a W223 owner and a W140 owner :-
W223 owner : " If you scratch my car i'm gonna sue your ass "'
W140 owner : '' If you scratch my car.......... i don't car who you are........as far as anyone concerned........ your missing ''

I have replaced these CamShaft oiler tubes, but still have that knocking noise from them, I don’t know if I have put bad o-rings on them or that timing chain guides have to be replaced as well

I'm pretty sure it was a Canadian car as all the documentation and instruction in the car was in English and French.
