Big E taking your beating like a man
It was the old lion vs the younger lion. Reggie by this time had many battles in the trenches of which he won most.
Erik Williams wasn’t totally himself either. He had been a car wreck which ultimately ruined his career. Still pretty good after but wasn’t the brutal monster he was before the accident
All I saw was white bull rushing him. If pack had a secondary white would have a sack
Exactly, then we he gets a sack it's negated by a holding
@@unrhuwell he wouldn’t of got a sack if there wasn’t a hold. Aikman had to hold onto the ball longer because of the hold.
I was at this MNF game...Nov. '96. Chris Boniol tied an NFL-record seven FGs; Cowboys beat Brett Favre's Packers 21-6.
Reggie White was an outstanding player…….except when facing Erik Williams....and this was after a devastating car wreck that left him at less than 100%.
This is laughable 😂😂😂
Uh..n those clips they double teamed him dude. ...
Yeah.....Reggie got doubleteamed....a few times....but what's your point? @@ronniesmithpeters9753
Reggie was closer to the end of his career too, this was like his 13th season.
Reggie literally made Williams airborne with one arm
that 's real nice, we dont see much good O-line clip on the tube
Erik Williams never even hit his prime.
😭 he was 26 years old..
Prime age for males is 27-31
Who knows what he was going to be.
Whenever I see this offensive line, I just wonder how many records Barry Sanders would have broken if he was their running back.
It would have been interesting to see Barry and Emmitt change teams and see how their careers would have gone
Larry Allen might have been the best offensive player of all time.. and I hate the cowboys.
I wish we had seen prime Reggie White vs prime Erik Williams.
I don't seem to recall Reggie White complaining when the Eagles did the fake kneel down but he goes apesh*t when the kicker gets a shot at an NFL record.
Ceedee Lamb = Michael Irvin 2023-24
Reggie was nearly done at 35, a five sack season is not the standard. I remember an older Joe Jacoby playing right tackle for the Redskins DOMINATING a 29 year old Reggie White in the playoffs.
Nearly done? He had 8 sacks that year, following year he had 11, then after that 16 and won the DPOY.
Green Bay got wine for all that cheese! 😮😮😮😮😮
3:34 “Reggie White certainly in the twilight of his career”. (Makes 3 more Pro Bowls, wins a Super Bowl and wins Defensive Player of the Year)
He had an off year for him that year.
I mean he was. His twilight is is just dpoy level lol.
That’s the best oline in history and I’m an Eagles fan😊Eric would have been the greatest tackle ever if not for the accident. Reggie will always be an Eagle
For sure
Eric Williams dominated ALL game long.
Old ass Reggie got by him on a number of plays.
@@spitshinetommy3721 not really. He got around him once. Bjornson is who white got through in one as he cut thru, Smith did similar. White almost got around him maybe 2 other times, but Williams, especially after car wreck, wasn't fast anyway, and really, "almost getting around the end" happens several times a game for even subpar defensive ends. White had no effect in the game, and that's what a great tackle does.
White was past his prime here and not only that, he was in the backfield most of the plays. The reason Williams looked so good is because Aikman would get rid of the ball very quickly, there were times Reggie was held and wasn’t called for it, and Reggie was doubled teamed a lot. I would not say Williams dominated all game. White won most of the battles.
@@christwarrior8501Williams was half of what he was pre-accident. They were evenly matched, but Williams had a bigger heart
Lots of quick passes by Aikman
Reggie White is one of the greatest defensive players to ever play in the league. Can you add more fights from the 1990s and early 2000s?
one of the? try greatest DL of all time.
@@kenmasters2025 That’s a fair argument and I agree.
Lions stunk without Barry and Dallas wasnt too hot bwfire Emmitt either
Erik Williams is listed as 190 lbs. today
White never seemed to have a very good game when the Packers played Dallas
The Packers end up winning the SB in 96.
Jerry sold his soul for a few amazing years, and the Devil has been collecting souls from Cowboy Fans ever since. And Green Bay is UNDEFEATED in Jerry World!!!
E Smith was nothing without that Offensive line!
Philly fan?😂
They made Reggie White look like a nobody.
Yet the Cowboys reign would end and the Pack would win the Super Bowl
Brett Farve NEVER beat Dallas in Dallas including all playoff games! Only time he beat them was at the end of Cowboys dynasty in GB in playoffs!
This was post accident EW...not as dominant as 2 years prior
You play4 quarters of football not three not 3 1/2. Your job to that team is to keep going until the other team can’t stop you from scoring no matter what the score is if you have a problem with the other team, running up the score, then you shouldn’t be playing football or any sport for that matter, your job is for the defense is to the other team from scoring no matter what the score is
Troy wasnt very accurate in this game
Reggie got push, but not enuff to get Troy
I remember this game Eric Williams had Reggie White so mad he literally threw Eric down with one arm and I think this was the game when Reggie left for the locker room he was cussing and threw the finger to all the fans I said I thought Reggie was a Christian I guess Eric changed all that He had Reggie’s number all day long That was a great time in the NFL And what I can say now is the team we have looks great but they are nothing like the team Troy and Jimmy had We wont win anything in the playoffs until we have a team like this one
Lotta ego and stars on that field. Reggie never seemed to play well vs dallas
All three of these guys I would want on my team no days it be hard to have all 3 on 1 team and pay them, such great talent White, Williams, Allen
