What long run profit does Nintendo make, by making it a live service model? Like Splatoon, besides the game itself, there is nothing to buy. It actually makes no sense for Nintendo to release games like that, since these games could take away attention from new game releases.
If you want a good quality fitness game, just play Ring Fit Adventure. As for what is the worst Nintendo game, in my opinion it's Mario Strikers Battle is the worst Nintendo game, an anticipated game that was a huge let down. I personally love it, but I think it deserves that rating
probably not, but the 3D Ko Takeuchi-inspired avatars overshadowing (and having a cheap, uncanny valley appearance. at least compared to other "general" IP) Miis initially in general reveals & advertising just made the comparisons to Wii Sports far more blatant. it's kind of in the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition boat, the most people can say about it is "could we just have more Wii sports and less FOMO grinds?", its cromulent for what it is, but it'd be kind of a hard-sell for even the general nintendo audience when stuff like Mario is standing right there. i wouldn't even be surprised if they revealed Dodgeball later on just so 2025 has something to tout, despite everyone's attention long-overpassing Donkey Kong Country: Returns HD for Legends ZA. also, everyone knows the worst game was Everyone 1-2-Switch is the worst nintendo-produced Switch game, that game doesn't even have the benefit of being a launch game where the general audience doesn't have that much choices. (when 3 released).
As a Wii Sports fan, his opinion triggers me. Don’t get me wrong, Sports resort is objectively a better game than switch sports, but I like this new iteration of Wii sports. It’s definitely not the worst Nintendo game in history in my opinion (there are literally hundreds of other games to choose from). Every sport is unique and no wonder the game sold 13+ million copies. It’s my most played game on the switch, and generally it’s a good game. 7.6/10.
Switch Sports does deserve all the hate it gets. It’s genuinely indefensible. But I do think there are worse games, such as Pokémon BDSP (which is the worst game I’ve ever played).
Your standards are so low its honestly scary. How can you say that the sports are unique ??? You are lying and I think its really a shame. You may like this game but stop lying. Tennis and badminton is literally the same and volleyball is once again a net game. So out of the 6 sports at launch, 3 are net-based sports... moreover everything feels random, I never felt like I actually control my character (volleyball is quite automatic). There is nothing fun about this game, its pure garbage and you shouldn t praise such a bad game sold at an expensive price
i have no idea if anyone will see this, but i feel like nintendo switch sports is very underrated. Its an unhealthy addiction for me 😂 i love that wii sports is online, and the sportsmates dont bother me once you have enough cosmetics. and hey miis are still here, and in my opinion they look better in this game than the previous wii sports titles. Also i cant belive demeech downed soccer so much. In my opinion its one of the best sports in the series
I agree. This game is basically just wii sports with some new ideas and online play. The only thing I can really say about the game negative wise, is that you literally HAVE to play online to unlock cosmetics, which sucks if you like to play locally. Also the idea that cosmetics are only available for a limited time just adds stress. Otherwise I feel like this game is pretty good overall, and I love playing it! This guy is acting like this game is literal blasphemy against the human race, like seriously I know its not perfect but people hate on this game so much, I feel like alot of it comes down to "its not wuhu island and miis aren't the main priority", because they cant handle the change.
@@eepyam"Wii sports with new ideas" New ideas: Make a sequel to Wii sports. Make the fortnight avatars the main focus for no reason over Miis who has a far better customization options and were ORIGINALLY the main focus for the Wii sports series. The setting takes place over a generic location instead of Wuhu island which is the most iconic places in game history and has more to give. Have only 6 sports even though resort have 12 with 2 to 3 modes in each sport. Have 3 ball over net minigames that somewhat plays the same. Have soccer play like Rocket league but slow. Have a leg strap exclusive for the sport even though it's not going to be compatible until we update it later Add golf later Have everything be online even getting cosmetics. Discontinue the game for 2 years. After 2 of everyone asking for new Mii games.....add basketball to switch sports. Yeah REEEEAAAL great ideas here.
@@CuteRedPanda64I think the comment I made wasn't great, I have problems with the game, however I still think it gets hated on too much like this guy literally saying its the WORST game Nintendo has ever made. Before I start this I personally dont take this game as a sequel to wii sports and resort that will replace it, I think it takes that concept and trys to do something else the sportsmates are an odd change. Well actually it appeals as more "cute" to the younger audience. These don't have great customization and yes I do think the miis are better, and that they probably should be the main focus, however miis are still an option and I personally don't mind the new sportsmates that much. The location change I think is a way to separate itself from the wii sports games, I think that is also one of the reasons for the sportsmates replacing the miis. I dont really hate this change that much, as if it were to be Wuhu island, the sports would take place in different settings, and thats not a big deal to me, I'm okay with the setting of the sports currently. Yeah, resort did have quite a bit more content, there were definitely a few sports in sports resort that were lacking, and the extra modes didn't see to add much to the sports that lacked (though they did add quite a bit to the sports that were good). However I do agree that this game really should have more sports and some extra modes within the sports. "having 3 ball over net mini games that somewhat play the same" Volleyball plays literally nothing like bad-mitten or tennis. And honestly I feel like bad-mitten and tennis play quite a bit differently, they seem like they would be similar, but the way that there structured is quite different, and I find them to be unique with one another. I think the idea of having a soccer mode play like rocket league but trying to angle the shots with motion controls is interesting, and can be fun, I think its alright, but yes I agree that it does just rely on standard controls to much. It is also pretty slow. yeah that leg strap bs is stupid Im with you on that one. golf being added later is also pretty stupid, but I think that getting something new after waiting for a certain amount of time CAN be a nice refresher. HAVING to play online to get cosmetics is dumb. But other then that I see literally no downside with an online focused game. You might say its funner when played locally but then just PLAY LOCALLY. adding basketball later on is random but I wouldn't consider it a negative. Yeah it could have been in the game to begin with but if it wasn't planned to be addeed then getting basketball is nice. I see a lot of this criticism, which is good criticisms, but I mainly focus on the core aspect of the game, how the sports play, and I am not a huge fan of soccer, but other then that, I think that all the other sports play GREAT, which makes the game enjoyable for me, even if it has its flaws, and I think because of just the sports itself its fun to play.
Ngl I wasn't expecting Switch sports to be so bad it right ranks stuff like Star Fox Zero, Metroid other M, Pokemon SV (if you ain't a fan of the gitches among other things) and more in Nintendo's stuckers lineup. However after watching the video I get it. Also about that F-Zero game with no CF in it, its weird the game itself has a guy claiming to be Falcon's son in it along with having a Similar machine to CF but never confirms it or gives him the CF title.
Soccer is by far the best sport in the game and the best experience of any Switch game this decade. It's very fast paced, with almost everything from real soccer except for dead ball sequences like penalties and free kicks. Have you tried mastering the art of the trivela? (curved shots) or trying to get S rank?
The more I look back, the more I see how much Wii Sports Resort was an absolute steal. So many great game modes at once. Might be a bit of nostalgia speaking, but exploring Wuhu Island in Resort with the plane puts Switch Sports to shame.

Switch Sports does deserve all the hate it gets. It’s genuinely indefensible. But I do think there are worse games, such as Pokémon BDSP (which is the worst game I’ve ever played).
@@kellygreens6748 I don’t agree with you. It’s my most played game on my switch and for a good reason. It’s replayable.
Theory: Nintendo intentionally made basketball bad
i have no idea if anyone will see this, but i feel like nintendo switch sports is very underrated.
@@eepyam"Wii sports with new ideas"
New ideas: Make a sequel to Wii sports.
Have a leg strap exclusive for the sport even though it's not going to be compatible until we update it later
Add golf later
Have everything be online even getting cosmetics.
Before I start this I personally dont take this game as a sequel to wii sports and resort that will replace it, I think it takes that concept and trys to do something else
the sportsmates are an odd change.
Calling it the worst game ever made is an exaggeration on so many levels. It’s just mid, that’s all.
Nintendo Mid Sports
Let’s go W leg strap day
Soccer is by far the best sport in the game and the best experience of any Switch game this decade. It's very fast paced, with almost everything from real soccer except for dead ball sequences like penalties and free kicks. Have you tried mastering the art of the trivela? (curved shots) or trying to get S rank?
never play advocate for the devil
Bro the game is not that bad💀
I honestly think that the Mario party 1 basketball mini game plays better that switch sport basketball
Demeech guess what?? ANOTHER SPONGEBOB MOVIE LEAKED!!
I’m sorry but the worst Nintendo game ever made was stack up on NES. But Nintendo Switch sports is also pretty stinky.
I honestly don’t know why everyone hates this game I actually find it really fun 🤷♂️

Yes
I think Wii Sports Club is a much badder game. It was also quite cheeky how you could buy each sport separately or had to rent it for a day😂
happy leg strap day demeech :)
