Very uncertain times ahead and there are many actors in this dangerous world who want to separate us, and make us doubt ourselves, our beliefs and our values, don't let it happen. Remember the declaration of the United Nations co-signed in 1942 by the UK and USA, what more inspiring statement is there
Such a shame the current administration seems to be content to stiff the US in trade negotiations.
24 REC here, he's done our country proud.
And he's humble about it to.........respect.
The royal marine officers are the best in the world in my opinion, they don’t get phased
In fairness, they’re as good as their men....and their men are good.
@@pennywise146 too right, many hundred of years of experience and history. My vision is a Scotts bag pipe band...yank ,royal Marines, Millwall supporters, gurkas, and a panzer element.... Now let's kill Isis and Taliban scum
llewellyn evans Not just this government though...started with Blair & Co because he wanted their votes.
Penny Wise it started way way before Blair. We were letting people in unchecked since 1948, without ever being asked.
Fred Wests Bed and Breakfast Fair one...1948 was a bit before my time...but we did need people back then to rebuild the country after the war. Still, that’s not an excuse not to check people in or out.👍🏻
Had a Royal Marine Color Sargent while in OCS. Was an impressive individual. Props for the accomplishment!
well done why was this not on the uk msm
He was in an officer exchange program with the US Marines, so the US Marines awarded him the medal in front of the US Marines that he served with.
Its a good news story showing the best of British and the military. Of course they won't report it.
@@1chish your right

Because the " BBC " is to busy showing BLM riots and protestors pulling down statues.

Semper Fi. Royal Marines. Echo Nine Whiskey out
God bless this marine! Truly amazing to see these 2 countries working together to improve the relationship and military ties and cross trainings. Are all Royal Marines infantrymen Commandos?
Musicians and Chefs do not get trained as commandos
Much respect to the major for the award but it would of been nice if they told the story that lead to this award.
Well done, Sir. God Save the Queen!
I have known many U.S. Marines over the years and they were all nearly identical in their devotion to their Corp, another squaddie friend and I compared notes and we believe that the Marine Corp removes their Civvy brain when they join and issues them a Marine brain and they frequently forget to put the original brain back when they leave. Semper Fi.
That's what an alley is ALL about!!
Isn't an alley where you get mugged in the space between 2 buildings?? LOL. We're allies, singular ally. Leathernecks can fight and spell.
Well that’s is brilliant stay safe Lyn.
Thank you all for your service
Our brave British cousins. Well deserved.
The USMC will have doubled in effectiveness with the RM around,
lets see...for every US marine there are 0.0425 royal marines...DAMMNNN, you guys must be effective! I'll bet your girlfriend upholds that ego saving theory also, Mr. Smallpiece "it's not how big it is, its how you use it"
Remnant it’s not untrue if anything the US armed forces is known for its not efficiency of troops the Americans didn’t know how many marines they deployed to Grenada (they issued something like 500 medals to people who had no role in the operation) that’s what he is talking about not the combat ability
The British are also known for doing everything with shit food not enough men and crap equipment when you have a govt like ours you have to be twice as good as the guys your stacking up next to
@@wargey3431 , Yeah, I almost deleted my post after I wrote it, I've never been the "my dad can beat up your dad" sort of guy. I just thought it was an odd statement, and it actually made me chuckle. I think Pride in ones nation is actually a good thing.
@@remnant2588 Trouble with American's they don't 'get it' when the Brits take the piss out of them.
@@wargey3431 if you think the current government is that bad just imagine what it would have been like under labour or lib dems hahaha but we can all agree we need more money, equipment, ships, soldiers etc etc etc big expensive list for sure, an extra 20 billion to the budget would help a little bit,but to even stand a chance of recovering we need to double it to 100 billion over 10 years for sure!
