For what its worth, clothes moths are actually in ascendency right now, at a scale not seen since the Victorian era.
I am sure this is primarily because these days most people dont iron their clothes

What does PCS stand for? I always thought that these were DPM (Disruptive Patterned Material) thanks!
Simon Howard the pattern is MTP (multi terrain pattern) and the trousers are part of the PCS system (personal clothing system).
I’m starting ROP in the next few weeks and want to learn the basics of ironing and folding. I know there are different military issue combats and stone shirts, what would be the best for me to buy cheap and practice on?

Think this needs an overhead view, very hard to see properly where amd what he's doing from a wide front angle when he'd talking about the finer details (pleat, pocket etc), but then I don't have a pair in front of me right now.

You are right, it knackers the cloth, especially on seams and folds around the leg pockets.

Team TLPS yeah, I heard that too. Really annoyed me because I wanted to join one or the other when I leave school. If you google it you can find a petition that you can sign to stop the government from doing it.
That the was the plan, however the defence minister rejected it. Think about it though, combining an amphibious force with an airborne force.
They will be longer merging, 1: It’s pointless 2: they are both elite in there own way 3: The paras are in the army whilst the marines are in the navy so they can’t

So... the design is meant to replicate the natural surroundings. So you then iron a straight line in it - bearing in mind there are no straight lines in nature. Why? PS: Did my 14 in the RN. Still don't get it.

@@tadhalpin1595 the navy used to wear both dpms and blues to be fair, even now royal navy commandos wear mtps as well as marines and so do some sailors depending on the climate

All that, to iron 1 pair of trousers. Glad I am not in the military. That would drive me absolutely mad. I wear mainly 5.11 clothing all day every day and thankfully nothing needs ironing. My MTP trousers can get as crinkly as they want, doesn't bother me.
Geezer can't iron for toffee. Lads use to pay me to iron their kits for inspections. Paid for all my nights out and more.

Someone tell him that military uniforms are Wash and Wear not wash and iron.
It may be different for you but I iron my uniform because it makes it look cleaner. As anybody who has been in the military should know we like to look as neat as possible. I'm sure he wouldnt be making a video on how to do this if it wasnt how they were told to do so. Youre making assumptions, move along.

It may be different for him compared to how you were told to do it. No way is neccesarily wrong because it depends on where you're serving I'm sure if it was wrong he wouldve tooken down the video.
Need get pants with sewn in creases don't need ironing, enemy dont get killed by creases. Spend more time shooting practice.
