@uh04 Most of those people did not prove themselves worthy of respect; but the Gurkhas have and they are respected. If respect is given to everyone, it means nothing.
We can't pay them equal. We have to think about their culture back home. If they were paid equal then they would be soooo rich in Nepal and it would create economic and social imbalance.
@@Jagger_33 That's not how economics works. The value of how much you get paid can only be known by how much things cost. For example, a UK solider gets paid £10 an hour because it costs an average of £10 to buy a dinner, for example. In Nepal they get paid £1 an hour because it costs £1 to buy the same meal. It's entirely relative. If Gurka's earned what UK solider earned then Gurka's would live like kings compared to the UK soldiers, so equal pay is actually unequal for the UK soldiers. Most Gurka's will still want to live in Nepal because it is their home. But if they got paid the same amount as UK soldiers then they'd be so rich that every young man in Nepal would grow up just so focused on becoming a Gurka. Why would you train to be a lawyer or a doctor if you can earn 100x more being a Gurka?
Hugely impressive young men, and England is fortunate to have them there. I wish we could have Gurkhas in Australia, as they would set an example of courtesy, dedication and service that many of our young should heed.

@uh04 Most of those people did not prove themselves worthy of respect; but the Gurkhas have and they are respected. If respect is given to everyone, it means nothing.
@@Kizron_Kizronson good to know.
These Gurkha gentlemen are real gems to the British army. Very humble and brave fighting force!
Good Luck Lads Welcome to your UK home
'We are enjoying from our inner heart" How touching.
Most wouldn't believe they are the finest soldiers on the planet. They certainly are. Pay them equal because they bring so much.
We can't pay them equal. We have to think about their culture back home. If they were paid equal then they would be soooo rich in Nepal and it would create economic and social imbalance.
@@dickmonkey-king1271 bruh not really they're just asking for equal pay for amount of work they do. They'll most likely settle in U. K
These guys are so kind and genuine and yet they are probably now some of the best soldiers alive
These are the so of migrants we want.
you can't always get what you want, these kids don't have a reason to flee their homecountry and come to the cold ass Britain.
Thing is these guys dont migrate, they go home and work hard to make their country better
@Captain Insano Shows no mercy France, Belgium, Holland even Spain as well. There aren't even many refugees coming to the UK.

Bless Each & Every Gurkha. They continue to protect us. ( U.K. Citizens) and have done so for Centuries.
Hugely impressive young men, and England is fortunate to have them there. I wish we could have Gurkhas in Australia, as they would set an example of courtesy, dedication and service that many of our young should heed.
love the Gurkha's. i'm an Aussie but they are fierce warriors. not giving them full due is a crime finally starting to be rectified. wish our Gov't had done more for our allies or even our vets.
