peanuts is the one causing my HS flare up. i have removed them from my diet, now I have less flares. Removing all lectins,dairy(except eggs,i am still consuming),gluten from my diet has made my life pain free.Thank you Dr.Gundry, please spread this info to HS patients.
This is so timely; thank you. I just found you recently and have started eating more walnuts and just yesterday I was wondering what nut butter would be best. I had no idea about cashews. That's super disappointing as I love cashews.
I see that you covered the Pilinut butter which is great but you haven't covered the Baruka nut. They do have a Baruka nut butter which I find very tasty and goes well with 100% dark chocolate. Would appreciate it if you cover it in the near future in your videos to know of its pros and cons if any.
I love baruka nuts and tried to make a nut butter out of it but it didn't come like a smooth butter. I think it's because there's not enough fat in them?

I would appreciate it if you might leave out of your talks the negative sayings like if you want to get poison ivy eat cashews. A positive framing is much more well taken. Thank you for all you do
I found the best one, and it’s hard to find but I have tried many of them and this one is Mazie Janes almond butter. This is excellent there’s nothing in it other than the almonds and I’m very, very picky
3rd time watching and you mentioned Boiling Peanuts. Yes, don’t ROAST but BOILING diminishes the Lectins. They are high in Omega-6 Fatty Acids. Let me skip the Pressure Cooked Peanuts!

I would like to see price comparison because some butters mentioned cost X times mores than those 'bad ones ' ..after all I hope you are not suggesting to improve health by eating X times expensive stuff...there is one thing you didn't mention.. and that is the fact that less is some fruit/nut consumer it doesn't matter it couldn't have other negative effect..but because it is consumed only few % compared to others it is easy this or that is bad...
Walnut butter is very strong in taste, not that nice so better to just eat the walnuts whole. Pistachio, hazelnut, macadamia butters taste really good!

The only downside I can think of is glyphosphate uses in nut growing e.g. in China where fertilizer use is rampant. In addition to letting, these nuts are also full of Omega 6's and antinutrients

I've been getting blanched almond butter: delicious! I'd be curious to try macadamia and pistachio nut butters.
Walnut, pistachio, hazelnut, macadamia, tahini sesame butter, pili butter.
Pili nuts are grown in the "wild" here in the PHILIPPINES and harvested but still a bit expensive. A little goes a long way though.
