In Job, the Accuser isn’t so much accusing Job of unfaithfulness, but is instead accusing the God of foolishness. Satan does not uncover evil in the hearts of men; he uncovers evil in the heart of God. He uncovers God’s doubt and jealousy. At the end of Job, because he wisely covers his mouth and does not speak when confronted by the god’s Shadow, it is not Job but God who repents. A god is a representation of the sacred, and to expose a god’s shadow is sacrilege. When Loki accuses Odin of using women’s magic, he is doing more than making jest. He is exposing Odin’s chthonic nature-his shadow side. This may or may not be something derived from Christian sources as Job predates Christianity, and probably Judaism as we know it, by thousands of years. It probably has pagan roots from Babylon and Akkadia with a scribal gloss to monotheism. And, the idea that light gods have a dark side is specifically pagan in viewpoint.

Thank you for sharing, the witches Devil is a particular favorite of mine. I am curious though, when, where and how did Cernunnos and Pan get turned into “Auld Hornie” and such?? Where are the first instances of the devil being recognized as a horned, beastly figure? I feel ignorant citing Cernunnos and Pan as the originators of his horns and hoofs when I have only ever heard “this is where this came from,” without proof.
I would like to recommend you read Paul Huson's Mastering Witchcraft. He has spells and chants involving Herne and Cernunnos. Nothing says lust or war like they do. Oh my word, is that Mr. Thorstein on a Warlock? lol...Wait is that an ESP version of it? Probably a nicer one than a B.C Rich! I wrote a piece the other day with a very congruous sentiment. I posted an article about a supposed 1,200 yr old temple being excavated in Norway. Exciting! My christian acquaintance replied; "Their prayers went straight to the Devil"...I was fuming at that empty-headed, nonsensical, but tried and tested derision used by christians, to label everything that preceded ( and indeed continued to flourish outside the urban/"civilized" panorama) their perverted world as "devil worship" and immediately began to write a response...Cheers so much for this video my friend!
Ah yes, this is an LTD, this is my second (and last) guitar, bought 11 years ago to replace my actual Warlock B.C.Rich which was my first guitar. This one isn't better actually, but back then I needed a replacement asap. I think I understand why that person was quick to say "Their prayers went straight to the Devil". As I've pointed out in the video "Common Misconceptions in Old Norse Religion" for many centuries until quite recently it was believed that the pre-Christan Nordic peoples did not have temples. This idea was actually brought up by the church to reinforce the belief that heathens were uneducated and worshipped in the open, in the "heaths", the wild places of the land away from the "civilized word". So the fact that temples are discovered completely dismisses the Church's idea of heathens being uneducated savages which makes the worshipping of their gods something "official" and as plausible as any other religious conceptions.
@@ArithHärger That is definitely a twist that probably had my colleague in a greater fit of frustration than I lol...Albeit coming from a much narrower mindset, so perhaps not comparable, but satisfying in an odd way ;)....p.s, I think it's very kind of you to lend your guitar to Mr. Thorstein.

Nope .... Saturn is Zeus Thunder/Oak God, and is the same as Rudra in the Vedas and was called Baal first son of El in Canaan. He fought the God of death every year to make sping come and life continue. El is the Sun God and the Judaic/Christian God. The devil is actually five named spirits who have never rebelled against God and are still at the left hand of God in the old Testament. Those five are Samael, Beelzebub, Beelzebule, Belial and Azazel. To Islam, the Devil is a Jinn rather than an Angel. Baal is demonized and called a "fallen angel", which is not actually possible because God is "angel crack"; angels were created as servents with no free will.
@@WarlockVex Saturn is not Zeus, that's Jupiter. Saturn was the titan Chronos in the whole Greek /Roman thing. But to clarify, I meant planetary Saturn, not necessarily mythological Saturn, although there are parallels.
Sorry you are right. However Saturn is still not "Satan". Not even sure how you connect Saturn (agriculture divinity) as "the devil" ... Indo European Polytheism runs on a type of Dharma. Dharma is described as a type of spiritual emptiness. The names of Gods are titles that note their domain within creation like Reua "The Roarer" Thunder/Oak God. His Dharma is to "blow in all directions like the wind", being a master of skills, a warrior, the spirit of life, father of trees, trickster and lover of all things. A God of fertility and agriculture is confined to their domain within creation.
Hello there. I'm going well as best as possible, and you? Well, sadly.. since I work 12-16h a day, I only have a few free hours which I use to create UA-cam content as well as at Patreon. The creation of subtitles takes a lot of hours and the videos with 1h+ usually took me 3days to make subtitles. I know how important they are but I had to make a choice: either spend time making subtitles or spending time researching for the production of content. But I found a solution, I found someone to make my subtitles while I work on research, but sadly UA-cam in September 2020 finally ended the subtitle contributions from the community so no one is allowed to make them anymore. UA-cam did this because they joined a company that makes subtitles but that requires the creators to pay per month (smart move UA-cam....). They slowly kill the UA-cam communities. So, there it is... I'm very sorry about that. Now I'm the only one who can created subtitles, but a day only has 24h and more than half of those hours I'm working on my actual job, so any free hours are for UA-cam and Patreon, so many choices had to be taken, including stop creating art as well. Thank you for your comment, stay safe. Cheers!

Satan is Saturn, no?
To a pagan, the planet is the God and the God is the planet ...
@@WarlockVex in astrology Saturn represents a lot of darkness: fears, doubts, restrictions, obstacles, adversaries...
Hello arith, how are you? What happened to the subtitles?
Cheers!
@@ArithHärger OK arith, i understand. I'm from Brasil, and i understand english, but sometimes the subtitles helped me with a few words. But i can handle. Thanks for your attention. I believe you speak portuguese, right? Um abraço do Brasil para você arith. Obrigado!
Very well done video, thank you so much for the time and research into this! Also, in Egypt there was the ram headed God Khnum who created humans and there was also a horned God named Banebdjedet. This name sounds like Baphomet in my opinion!
They have been bullying me for 10 years because they wont admit to wrongdoing.
And now theyre using you.
Badass
