I got my beverage-iced tea. 😁 Bold Springtime is sweet. I’ve got so many WIPs in my Lulu books. Poor million bears! Luckily, they are a forgiving bunch. Wow, love the tree lane. So springy, it almost smells like flowers. ☺️ The lady you started with crayons is looking lovely. I have “Fairy Tales” and would love to do a buddy color. You already have all those notes...😉 Let me know if you are up for it sometime. Sweet job on the wreath-I like the lantern work. And the tree is cute too. I have trouble with gel pens being all “scratchy” on the page and leaving lots of lines.
Look at you with the Daydreams! Wow! Must be so fun to see all that work you’ve done. Really happy stuff! BTW, you’re great with jellies. Yep, that feather-head lady is pretty amazing. 👍 It cracks me up that you added shoulders so you don’t have just floating heads. Good for you-floating heads are disturbing. 😅 I love a color theme-that pinky butterfly is luscious. Yellow tree looks like it should blossom lemon drops. Yum. Owl is magnificent. Really nice pencil work. The Christmas Johanna is the only one of hers I have. Can’t wait for the holidays! This has been a fun journey together. Thanks for taking me along! And for letting me be so chatty. : )
Beautiful pages! Don't doubt yourself because you are very talented! Satin glazing liquid works like gesso, it dries clear, and pencils work on top of it as well as markers.
A lot of fun to watch :) I want to be a wip queen too :) it will make choosing and finishing pages at later date easier and just laying down a little color is good for those days when not overly inspired. Thanks for sharing your collection :)
😆😆😆 I can’t believe I said that! Anyway, yes it does help when I do decide to go back and work on a page. I’ve at least got a start already. Thanks for watching!! ☺️
I say, you do you!! If you want to color something, don't be intimidated, coloring is supposed to be fun and relaxing. Also, don't compare your coloring to other people. It's a coloring book, you can always buy another one or take the page out. It's coloring!! I just found your channel and I really enjoy your pages.
I’ve enjoyed going thru your collection with you! Looks a lot like mine... I also started ages ago in 2015...you are my new favorite channel!! I’m so glad I found you, been praying for New channel to binge! Your coloring is beautiful ☺️
That’s so sweet of you to say!! I have been having a lot of fun making these videos ☺️ and I love coloring so much. It’s just been the best hobby!! Thanks so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your coloring book collection and your finished pages. I found out about you from Kori and I just have to say your colorings are stunning. You have a new subscriber.
I understand what you mean about the mythographic books. So many colourists say they don't like all the hidden objects (which in the latest books aren't so hidden!!) I really don't understand why they still put them in.
The cover of Mythographic Animals was really cool looking. Oh man, I know about surgery. Nice of you to color one for your friend. Wow, that swordfish is so amazing. Really lovely. I don’t have any markers at all. Hmmm. Might need to make a purchase... I am looking for that crayon tutorial you mentioned by Laura. Haven’t located yet-is it Laura Rafferty? Your pencil work in the Romantic ones is impressive! Those shelves have lots of little items!
Thanks so much!! I usually use a Prismacolor blender marker, but I’ve also used the Derwent and Prismacolor colorless blender pencils and Gamsol. Thanks for watching!!
I would love to see you finish your books and projects and perfecting art supplies rather than keep jumping to something new. Your work is beautiful that’s why I would like to see you finish a collection.
Just binge watched your book collection! Very nice! Love the idea of going in & base coloring a FEW 😉 pages! Would help break the ice in a new or untouched book! That is a very pretty blue you used in the Erie book! Do you remember what brand & color it is??? Thanks for Sharing!💖💖💖
Hi, Nancy ☺️ I just saw this comment and apologize for taking so long to respond!! Thank you for the sweet comments. I truly appreciate it. I used one of the blue Crayola Supertips markers to add that color, so unfortunately there was no color listed on the barrel. And yes, basing a page helps me so much!! Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Just like Dorie Long 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 you’re a recent find for me too and I’ve watched all of your collection videos and you are definitely the Queen of W. I. P.’s (LOL too funny!) but I think it’s a good thing-you’re learning/sharing your boundaries and more of us could take a cue from you.
Thank you!! ☺️ I could definitely do a video on Inktense pencils. They are intimidating at first for sure, but with practice I am pretty comfortable with them now.
Thanks for sharing your books! Your voice is soothing and you colored beautifully. It was a pleasure watching these videos. Can you do a video on how you use Distress Crayons? I think you had flower page started with them in Fairy Tales by Emelie Oberg. Thanks
Aw, thanks so much! Yes, those distress crayons are on my to do list. Since I used them I have kind of forgotten how to again, so I need to get reacquainted with them ☺️
Thank you for the book collection videos I thoroughly enjoyed them. For the Camilla d'Errico books do you use a glaze base before using a water medium or is the paper good on its own?
Hi there! You’re very welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed them ☺️ I do not use a glaze first, but I’m sure you could. They work well enough for me without it. It does buckle a bit, but that doesn’t bother me. Thanks for watching!!
I use a workable fixative spray to seal the pastels. Pan pastels are a colored powder you apply to the page and the distress ink is a dye based ink. Very different mediums, but both fun in their own way. I do have a video about using distress ink on a background and you could also check out Zuchinni Kitty’s UA-cam channel. She does LOTS with distress ink.
Hi! New subbie here. Love your work! It's truly lovely. I've never had the issue you've described with Gesso before (I use Finnabair Art Basics Gesso). I wonder if you spray those pages with a workable fixative if you will get a better surface for your pencil detailing? Thanks for sharing all your wonderful books!
Thanks so much!! I used a Liquitex clear gesso, so maybe I used the wrong kind?? It couldn’t hurt to add the fixative. I’ll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion ☺️
Love your work in the Eriy books - your use of inktense is amazing also Like the idea of using one blue through out - colouring in Midnight mascarade using a colour theme - but also looking for more theme ideas- BTW yep you win the WIP queen award 🤣 my OCD part of me was cringing- I can’t have more than 2/3 WIP at a time.
Thanks so much!! I was thoroughly surprised by how well the inktense worked in that book. Yeah, I definitely don’t have a problem leaving pages unfinished 😆 My poor, poor Kerby books.

Thank you! I appreciate that. And thanks for the tip. I have to try that out ☺️
Love how you’re carrying the blue thru romantic country. Tfs🌺
Self proclaimed W.I.P. Queen 😂😂😂

The peacock was very beautiful 😍❤️

Same!! Although, I do keep buying them even with the weird objects everywhere.
Hehehe I too thought you said whipped cream! New subbie great video 😁😁😁
Lol!! Thanks so much for subscribing ❤️☺️

Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching ☺️ I’ll try not to be too down on my many, many WIP’s 😉
loved all these. If posable could you do a video on how you use ink tense?? I'm interested but I afraid to mess up a picture. thanks.

I'm doing a blue and green theme with an owl picture 🥰🤗 they are my favorite bird
Nice collection, i enjoyed watching. Will you do a supplies video?
Thanks!! I actually just posted that today ☺️

Aww, that’s very sweet. Thanks!
Look, i thought you said WHIPPED CREAM. 😂 WIP queen
Lol!! 😆😆😆. Thanks for watching!!
😂😂😂😂
You have a lot of books!
💜💜💜🇬🇧
You just use regular crayons?
I have used crayons on a few pages, but I usually use colored pencils, watercolor or markers instead ☺️
Could you please note Olivia Oderon’s (? Spelling) page please? Thank you.
Why one earth are there random hidden objects in the beautiful pictures 😳
