The pressure reaches its maximum point in the last lap, that’s when it’s easy to slip up and make a mistake.
He did have an amazing run tho.

@@mark-angelofamularcano237 the 3 of them raced pretty well. nice and respectful from what i saw, and fast. the german in the ford was pretty fast in that car. i tried it and i wasnt a fan of it tbh lol.

But, when you have played the game enough. You should not have pressure and there you have drove the same car quit while, so you should have get used to driving it, so thats why Super Gt has no pressure, when has drove for 5 years in these GT games in online. Still the second and third place have the slipstream and are eager to fight for the first place, when its racing and thats why in first place you should not do any mistakes or you lose your lead of the race.
This just proves that GT7 really needs more daily races or you know change them up daily... The fact that we had to wait for months for this race to come back is ridiculous!
Or they could add more lobbies, maybe 5 instead of 3.
I tried doing the lobby as my first time playing multiplayer, but that is just really a playground to show off cool livery and sleeper cars.
I think adjusting the online point system and actually having more room between races, and providing maybe even the same race but making it endurance (1h or more) would make every day more interesting.
i think if we change them up daily, the races would be even more sloppier. people missing braking points and other mistakes in general. racing in the middle and end of the week are better because of it. i would like having a daily d race and maybe a longer daily e as opposed to these 10-15 lap sprint races.
Not sure if you'll see this, but this was the race that really hooked me on the online experience. I've always played GT solo and I enjoy it, but your videos inspired me to give it a go with 7. I had fun but, when this race came around, I had an absolute blast. I hadn't invested much into longer races and it was so dope. Thank you!

It's funny how strict they are with track limits in the chicane.. I race this track 2-3 times a year and there are always divots around the edge of the track especially on the exit because everyone cuts those corners so aggressively.
You sir are the reason I started enjoying racing games again. Even bought a g923 and GT7 last week and I'm really enjoying them. Thank you!

Fantastic last race, especially the finish, you can't come up with this stuff, genuinely exciting to watch. Wish F1 was always like this.

This was an extremely enjoyable race for me. I ran it quite a few times yesterday and eventually came back with three second place finishes with my qualifying times being 1:48’s. Tried it with the mclaren bc I can hit the braking zones later with it but I just doesn’t have the speed down the straights that the Supra has so I ran it and got my podiums in that car

I’m a huge Rolex 24 fan, and this last year, in a show of camaraderie and mutual partnership, The President of IMSA and FIA WEC held a huge ceremony to rename “Bus Stop” to “Le Mans”, and the first Chicane on the Mulsanne Straight to “Bus Stop”
Did that race a bunch of times. Was chaotic but had a ton of fun even being at the back of the midfield most times
I was on the edge of my seat all the way through race 3, good job mate!
Race B this week is super duper fun. Finally came back after a couple months, immediately see how much car damage can both help and ruin your race. Still didn't stop people from road raging. Lol.

Just rewatched the older 10 lap Daytona video yesterday from recommended! Interesting to see the difference, and makes me wonder if UA-cam knew 🤨.

I was very excited about Daytona being in GT7 and boy it didn’t disappoint.
That thrill you get from nailing the bus stop and gaining on the car ahead is so good.
That Ford GT, the one from 2005, that thing is the perfect Supercar for a reason. Don't underestimate it.

That 3rd race was epic! With these types of close races, all it takes is one little mistake, such as taking a corner a little too wide or tapping the wall, and the podium changes. Great job!

The 1 thing that continues to amaze me Steve, is your ability to be so calm when ppl take you out! I get racing incidents happen, that's cool, can't be helped sometimes, but when ppl purposely PIT maneuver you, how do not hurl a whirlwind of abuse at them or proceed to do it back to them? 😅 It's maddening how much......modesty? Patience? you have!

I enjoyed this race too. I actually found the F-Type the best round here by far, 2 secs a lap quicker for me than the Supra! I am on controller still, maybe that is why?

The Supra has a very sensitive front end - I struggle like mad to get a consistent turn-in, and exit! Also eems to take an age to regain grip at either end once traction is lost, especially on the hards.

First race, the Spaniard was 100% to blame, moved over under braking and left you nowhere to go
A race that need to come back is 10 laps at bathurst. It produces such great racing. Hopefully they will next few weeks with the bathurst 1000 coming up
The Spaniard moves under braking into your line which caused the german to be sent to the shadow realm
Honestly really hate races when 1 car is op…..literally everything loses 3-7 tenths on back straight and some cars can’t even keep up in a tow

This video is what i've been waiting for.
It's not really fair how on this track you can lose 5s for cutting a pixel too much off a corner. Instead of slowing you down for the penalty it should just freeze you for that time and then when you unfreeze your speed remains the same. That would make every tracks penalties the same.

I feel the track limits through the bus stop are too strict on this track. I got a penalty going through there just about every lap and I never understood why because I felt I was nailing the line perfect. It looks to me like you were having a similar issue.

Vegas deserved 2nd IMO. Carno was a bit aggressive when trying to overtake. This penalty Vegas got was from Carno forcing Vegas over the line as well.

In GT7 slipstream has an effect back to about 1.3 seconds, and at 0.75s it isn't as strong as GTSport. I get the impression you think slipstream is the same in GT7 as GTS?

Daytona is an excellent track for races. One of the best.
