I'm sorry. I'm a beginner!
Thanks for put it video
put it video
It's ok I know you'll do better
It’s alright.
You’re a graceful guy Steve.
I actually meant to say "put it in video" but oh well😅
Loved your "thanks for the clean race" message after the race😂
Brz si. Svaka čast.
I know it's hard to write in a console especially when you just got murdered by SuperGT himself
The correct English here is "put it in a video" or "put it in the video" :D no one really cares tho good race!
put it video
"put it video" is better :p
"I was absolutely awful" Damn, I would hate to be the guy who finished 2nd behind him.
Oh wait... 😅
Absolutely awfuler
just imagine being me! GOTNOPOWER
What a small world. I raced against you a couple of hours ago :D
Man, the amount of work that goes into these videos... You sit and race for a while, then you don't get good races, but still record them, then you practice to get good at them, then you show us that too.
You then collect the footage, edit it all together, analyze it for us and then voice over it.
And you've been posting so much lately. Man this channel has gotten insanely good...
Thank you mate, I do appreciate it. I would say this video was approximately 10 hours of work (recording, editing, voice over, rendering, thumbnail).
@@Super_GT Please keep it up, I get genuine excitement when you upload!
@@Super_GT If you ever needed video ideas Steve it would be pretty interesting to see your process of making these videos
@@osomorose I'd watch that
My thought exactly
i think there's no bad driving could be worst than calling Kirby a Pokemon in your last video
Never forget
Don't ever let him forget this
HE WHAT???
Haha what an idiot! Everyone knows Kirby is a Digimon.
Somebody drive that man to a jail cell.
This feels like a real classic Super GT video. 2019 vibes.
even with some forza motorsport 7 style ramming included
I miss the shameful rammers videos 🤣🤣😔
reminds me of the huracan videos
It takes guts to release a video like this. I applaud it. Being humble is such a rare trait in a youtuber especially the ones with experience and skill like yours.
This is very inspirational to me. Thank you Sir Super GT.
Thank you viewer
Couldn’t agree more, Well done Mr GT
Came for the memery, stayed for elite-split instruction on how to attack Grand Valley. Thank you for explaining your process!
Appreciate the kitty pfp
To be quite honest I admire the courage it must have taken to release clear incriminating footage of yourself committing such a gruesome murder
No, Steve, the question we were all asking ourselves is: What is sportsmanship?
Dunno mate, never heard of it
I hate that bloody video
@@Super_GT Baby don't hurt me ♫
Sportsmanship is the veil put over your eyes to blind you from the truth
Oh my God, the exact same thing happened to me yesterday. Started second place; drove like I'm drunk, stoned, and concussed, and ended the game in last place. Haven't touched the game since then.
Dear Super GT. I've been watching/enjoying the content for the last year or so. Today you helped me acquire gold on circuit experience. I can't thank you enough.
The story telling is absolutely scintillating. That feeling of catharsis at the end is something that could only be provided by a mid week super gt video.
Very much enjoyed this rotation of races. Sparked some enjoyment back into the game for me. Always a good day when SuperGt uploads
11:11 this transition is way better than the race itself LOL
@Super Gt This was a really good video with a story of struggle, practice and redemption. I hope we havent seen the end of PSVR2 races, would love a series if you have the motivation.
Honestly mate, that bit from when you wipe those two guys off, till you get a 3 sec penalty exiting the pits was absolutely hilarious! Laughed my ass off.
Especially for the poor Ford GT that spun as he was trying to get back on track 😂
1. Didn't realise Scott speed was a real person until this week
2. Rode the kerb on that last lap, think you can only do lower part as that's caught me out a few times - you're the profesh though!
Fair few videos in the last week, love it! You buying a house to compete with Lando? 😂
This is why you are such a great driver Steve, you own your mistakes and work to improve yourself. Top stuff.
Chip Ganassi (the car owner of that GT but you probably knew that) once said “It’s a lot easier to make a fast driver slow down, than a slow driver to get quicker.” Or something like that. And when you consistently break the top 100 or so in the world, that’s exactly what you need. This video was great and I loved it. You’re still mega fast.
punt 2 cars into the wall: no penalty
get punted: 6 seconds
what a perfect video game
This was a feel good video through and through. Nice improvement mate
Notification gang ❤
No notification, but also no life, so I saw it within 15 minutes gang 💚
Gang gang
When I started playing ACC from GT7 I was also overdriving the car an insane amount. I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong.
It turns out, that you just almost have to whisper into the steering wheel, and be really delicate on the steering, and the car just works. It's like asking the car's permission to change direction via a delicate message.
But it worked wonders.
Then I returned to GT7, and I was doing so much better than before. GT7 doesn't punish you for manhandling the car as much as ACC does, but it also benefits from being delicate like ACC.
Edit: it also took me 10 in game hours to figure out that the game was using 900° steering input, while my wheel was configured to 420°. So the game thought I was doing a full turn of the wheel, when doing a half turn. But that taught me to be delicate, and it still worked when I fixed it
Dynamic time is so good and makes such good immersion into the game!
he really went from killing everybody to doing time trial in the race
Drinking game for "Consistency"
I would also mention the unsung hero of this video is Mistah MCA...his lap was the guiding lap for Super GT! Both of them are great youtubers and great racers!
9:58 To be fair, this is what Gran Turismo 7 looks like for most of us online. I don't think there's ever a clean race but I spend most of my time in private lobbies with friends, therefore maybe my ranking isn't good enough to get in with people who don't ram & send it every first corner? But yeah, this looked absolutely *normal* for many of us I imagine. 🙏
The game, and this track with dynamic daytime especially is pure eye candy! You've missed the clean race trophy by a hair, though....
Edit: that was a really nice and emotional video! Guy at work said today "Sometimes you win, sometimes you L....earn" that's the spirit!
I dont even play racing games anymore and even when I did I wasn't very good. Yet, here I am still watching your videos.
Same 👋
@Super GT Your self critiquing is amazing. Identified shortcomings and moved forward. Love it.
19:09 that is amazing consistency. F3 driver, here we come!
I feel like I’ve been subbed to this channel for whatever reason but I’ve barely started watching it. Foolish. Your content is amazing. I’m a huge GT fan. Haven’t played since 2014. Favorite track is SS Route 5 Clubman. My old record: 49.059 in 12/05/2014, new record as of a few hours ago with the same car: 46.731. Thank you for bringing the fire back in me!
There's a lesson in backing off to have better races. It's like when Jim Clark would race out to a lead as hard as he could, and to protect it they'd hang out a pit board with "SMOOTH" written on it. Even though he wasn't trying as hard, often times his laps would get even faster.
Best video ever, sacrifices his race and others’ races for pure content, hats off 👏. RIP in peace.
I'm like you. When I try too hard to be fast I make way too many mistakes. I find that when I'm totally relaxed and just zone out to the point that where I finally look up and see that 6 laps went by and it only felt like 1... I know I am then in the zone. Very hard to remain in the zone once I'm there but when there what an incredible feeling it is I must admit.
Even professionals make mistakes, whats more important is that you are having fun!
Watching this makes me realise how slow I am at this game, been playing this race all day and my best qualifying time was a 1:48.3 😢
When you qualify, look at the rankings and find someone's whose uploaded their ghost, and race against it, you will speed up quite a bit really quick
@@I_amTurok cheers, I’ll give it a go
@@SeanBlackbeard lol you will subconsiously get faster when you chase the ghosts, i dont know why, but somehow you become faster.
@@CristanioPeweyyy It really helps you figure out the correct line. Many times I've been hotlapping for maybe an hour and trying to get everything juuuust perfect and then I'll check a ghost and find out I've just wasted my time trying to hone a suboptimal line when I could've gotten a faster time in just a few laps by using the best one.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN sometimes I'm so into it I brake for ghosts😂😂
11:10
top 10 coldest transitions on tiktok
That map really looks like California coastal roads in day and night. Great map.
Steve's worst driving is better than a lot of people's best.
should give the 84 skyline a go in GR3, very fun to drive with ridiculous top speed
10:33 I spit out my drink
I think super gt was just getting ready for the new forza with that ram
I really love this track, I had some decent luck in my races last night running the Nismo. Such a great track for VR.
I noticed that Top Gear reference in the greeting, you love to hear it 😊
10:27 - “The immortal words…” 😂 😂
I did this race last night. Qualified P2, spun on the opening lap, but was able to rebound for a P5.
When your waiting for the mp4/4 to drop in the Legends store part and you've just spent 2.5 mil to get the new old Honda f1 car and it ends up turning up now when you only have 50,000. Credits left and its 8mil and you only have a bit of time to play and no idea when it'll disappear for ages 😭😭. What's worse is I swear someone told me it was only 2.5 mil😅😭
They dont know... They dont know I am Nico Hulkenbacon at 21:49. Pleasure to share a lobby with the GOAT
This track is really solid , very technical but lot more enjoyable
The ford GT is so tricky to drive. I spent hours and hours trying to master it around the nurburgring. But once you get it right it's so fun to drive. one of my top 3 cars in the game.
I'm so glad to see that me, as a amateur, is not the only one struggling with this track AND the Ford GT...
dude getting second after second added to his time due to super gt fail has got me in stitches
23:08 penalty had me crying for you. Proper video mate/
Great vid as always. Currently sick right now, so some racing content is helping me cheer up.
I used the vr2 for this and it was amazing
A wonderful progression, that last race as yourself was as David Colemaan would have said, "err, quite remarkable!".
Thank you for showing you rage. I wish you’d show more of when that happens because I know everyone does.
I love you GT. But it pisses me off thinking how great of a driver you are and why can’t I just be so smooth and consistent like you. But you also get mad and have bad days. Helps
Thank you
I'm new to sport mode/online racing, I'm really not good at all. Have been getting better slowly, but I feel like I've hit a wall with my progress. I can't seem to improve my lap times, my awareness is awful, and I'm bad at judging corner speeds. I can't seem to improve them, I can't figure out exactly where I'm going wrong...
the upload consistency has been incredible steve, thank you
Was about to ask on the comments, "How would Scott Chegg do it?" and be not disappointed after the end. Absolute legend, teaching others the way!
Great video, appreciate you showing the good, bad and the ugly. It fascinates me how quick you are after an hour of grinding, I know you've got a lot going on other than GT atm but if you were to dedicate yourself to it, you'd be fighting for the trophy in the GTWS imo.
I've noticed that if you shift into first with the Ford GT in the middle sector it is easier to navigate.
This track has really been funny and frustrating at the same time. The night transition is a nice touch.
Amazing consistency at the end there.
The sunset at Grand valley looks stunning
It's so orange. Reminds me of GT3 in reverse.
So sorry to hear about your conviction! Hope they let you continue to stream from your cell!
From "it's so over" to "we're so back", amazing
Enjoying the vids so much, keep uploading often man. Good luck 🫡🫡🫡
I love how you took a break then went back to work. You were not going to be defeated!
I have been really enjoying this combo this week, I have lost DR hand over fist in all accounts but it has been a ball 😁
Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🏎✅️
Have you heard about how the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in a storm in 1975? That second race wasn't quite that bad.
If I'm being serious, I've been there. New day, new race, and proceed to royally and completely flush the whole thing down the damn toilet. Shut it down, leave, come back in the evening and find the speed.
They need to kerb (pardon the pun) the barrier penalties, its not like you can really wall ride anymore any way.
10:21 Could not stop laughing, "Why"
Why Steve? Why have you done this? What have I done to deserve this? Why Steve? Why?
Every time you do a video it makes me crave a race. I'm loving this game.
wow great video. Always inspiring to see u get good in a race. Plus that was some real "in zone" level stuff. Great racing!
Even after learning to get relatively good consistency on that first chicane, I managed to get pretty similar ending at the wall as you did... Slipstream and dirty air can really throw off your driving line there
Commenting to help you with the algo. This is legitimately one of your best videos!
The very simply "Why." is killing me
I could have maybe been tempted to add just a smidge of front downforce for that middle section in that car, obviously not too much to blunt the straightline performance
Underdog & comeback stories, both rolled into one💪
Did considerably well seen as the track was cooling off a little with the sun going down.
Always love to see Scott Chegg as a special guest. Good video
This race would've been less brutal if the pits weren't broken and we had some tire strategy. My first attempt was awful - got punted off, then got stuck at the back of the pack while I struggled for grip, then I crashed by my own mistake, finished dead last.
10:45 Classic Gran Turismo pit stop
Bro turned a race into a life lesson
Thanks for putting it video. Makes feel better ❤️
If we were still allowed to adjust brake bias in these races it would solve so many problems for so many cars, including this GT. Slow corners just makes the rear slide out and it's useless.
To like you at your best we have to like you at your worst too^^
I do not race with the meta car, I race with a GR Supra or a 458 and I won this race 4 times on 6; idk why I can't find myself with Ford, but still seems so be so quick. Your video tho helped me to improve, ty Steve
I love your videos super gt keep up the amazing work
Curious to hear other opinions but i watched it back a couple of times and it seems like that first corner crash was kind of a racing incident. The ford in front of steve does move across sloghtly before is made and steve isn't really coming towards him.
Speed & Power! Because speed makes you lighter.
This video should be mandatory to any GT player. The resilience and redemption arc is just top class!
The final penalty was from touching the orange post on the footpath.
(Great video again btw)
Brilliant. Love this track, cant wait to spend a few hours on it
One thing I did, because I hate myself, with FM6 I would attempt a top 1% lap time on EVERY track with EVERY car class. My consistency online was stupid.
TL;DR: Steve is right, practice is important.
Good video! Also I'd like to say I'd love to see you race and perform with different cars. A bit of a challenge for one track. ;)
Astounding final race! Wow!👏
