So... the perfect backdrop for art is usually a light gray, especially if the pieces have lots of white because it makes it pop. On the other hand... the house is gorgeous, but the "art" is very gutsy yet obvious and without any technique........ is this tour sponsored?
Alright i checked her art out on her website to see what it was all about. Her prints (not originals but just prints) sell for $650 for a decent size (no frames included). A lot of it seems very safe in its messaging.. pretty vanilla stuff. I understand that I am not some gatekeeper for art here and perhaps there’s an audience of people who go bonkers for her work.. but I am inclined to believe that she might have made it big because she has some pre existing network in the fine arts world.
Right?! Every bit of this aMaZiNG aRT is nearly indiscernible from something somebody's dumb kid drew all over the wall. like Who's gonna clean up this mess? I'd assume it's more pre-existing family wealth/a good write-off rather than anything else.
Its unsanitary to walk into someone's house with outdoor shoes on. I see these ppl trying to act civilized, giving house tours with their dirty nasty shoes on & get grossed out. How can anyone keep their rugs & floors clean while walking around with dirt, mud, gum, etc that gets collected on the bottom of shoes? Why not just have cheap $1 store slippers, shoe booties or new socks kept at the front door for guest to wear? And if the guest chooses not to keep the socks or cheap slippers just throw them away. That beats having to mop/sweep, shampoo, & disinfect the floors everytime someone tramples over everything with filthy shoes on.
I don’t know if this is breaking news to y’all but people who live in these houses can afford professional cleaners relatively frequently. They likely have cleanings scheduled before and after the house tour.
It shows how far back we gone when we can call that art.
I just saw the prices for her clothes and couldn’t believe it wasn’t Ralph Lauren or sumn.. who tf is this loll
So inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
Stunning
Let’s face it most of those paintings look like they were done by the 4 yr old. Looks like a fun family place tho and is nicely done.
Love the bright colors. Thanks.
i like everything about this home....except for the art:):) hahahah

I like this house
Let me guess, this woman came up with the “Live Laugh Love” “art”.
Loved that it had color and neutrals. Nice mix.

I totally agree. I am very anal about people NOT wearing shoes in my house. I won't even let people drink or eat anything in any rooms with carpet.

I bet you’ve got a terribly weak immune system ☺️
