She has aged beautifully if at all. Her love for David is still so fresh and her sadness and longing for him is still very raw. Glad she was able to heal in that beautiful surrounding and house.
I loved this and could’ve listened to her for hours. I don’t know why but it brought tears to my eyes. Just the deep love she and David shared is so magical.
Iman was a trailblazer. I first saw her in a movie in the 80’s I was much younger lol. I couldn’t take me eyes off of her, how stunning she was, looking like an absolute goddess. And still does. This piece is so sweet. The sadness of losing a loved never goes away. I’m glad she’s now smiling again. Love.
This video touched me. I didn't need to see the whole house to know it's beauty. What an elegant and special way to present your objects and the love for yours husband.
She’s so kind and authentic. I felt like a friend was showing me around her house. Also I liked the quote about giving and receiving. Many blessing to her 💗
Usually I learn a lot of decorticating idea but this video taught me that having beautiful things is great but having someone special to share it with is priceless. ❤️❤️❤️
Such a beautiful woman inside and out. Her love and testimony to David by talking about him in the present and sharing things he loved made me tear up. But also that homage to her dear friend Naomi: A woman who was painted as the villain by the press (and Tyra Banks) throughout the 90s.. Who everyone who actually worked with her still love! I’m so glad to see she’s finally getting all the respect she deserved so long ago as well.
This gonna be my all time favorite Vogue video. Such a sincere way to walk people through her house and the story behind every piece. I love this woman!
I love to watch these for the beauty of design but what struck me about this one was how everything Iman showed was so personal and meaningful to her. It was so full of love, light and energy and her connections to others in life, that is was moving. It also made me tear up to see how much she misses David- I think of all of these I've ever watched, this one was by far the most beautiful- because of how authentic, genuine and deeply lovely Iman is.
The house is so beautiful and filled with things that have only personal meaning to them. Unlike other celebrities' homes, it doesn't give off "thrown money at designer" vibes.
This, this so much! I was a teenager when David (aka the love of my teen life 😁) and Iman married. I supposed my teenager heart should have been jealous and bitter, but I was totally enamoured by her... and it never changed. I can see why David loved her so much, she's a wonderful woman and her love for him is bigger than life.
I met Iman when I was doing red carpet coverage and she came with Zac Posen. She is incredibly beautiful and her fragrance she wore (Fracas) I believe smells phenomenal!!! Left a trail and she owned the room. She was one of my favorite celebrity to cover. She carries herself with such elegance and grace!
I was almost in tears as I watched it. The house is beautiful, inside and out, but Imani is a beautiful women and so is her warm spirit and the everlasting love she has for David.
This is so beautiful, and truly represents what a house is meant to be filled with...memories, I love Imans explanations of what each piece in her house means and the way she speaks about David
One of the most touching, beautiful videos Vogue has ever produced. Iman is a treasure and you can sense that David's spirit permeates the house. It's silly but I just watched the first episodes of "And Just Like That...," and this resonates even more.
This just made me love her more. She has character, class, intelligence, empathy and is filled with a steady light. Seeing the care, thoughtfulness and depth of love in the connection she & David shared is really indicative of twin flame connection. Exquisite
Never been a David Bowie fan and know almost nothing about this lady, apparently his wife. But enjoyed every moment of this. She came across very real. Full of beautiful emotions of her present life and past memories. Was so calming!
You need to watch the movie Labyrinth at the very least. Ok its a kids movie, but its also an awesome interpretation of how clever, adaptable, real and comic he was. Just brilliant.
I worked at Allaire Studio on Glen Tonche mountain where this house is and everyone loved them. The view up on that mountain is unreal, but driving up it in the winter is one of the scariest things I've ever had to do. I never met her, but seeing here, how much she deeply loved him is just gut wrenchingly beautiful.
This made me cry, I just always admired Iman and Davids love, such a once in a lifetime love, 2 totally different backgrounds beautifully molded together. So amazing to have witnessed.
So simple, honest and truly beautiful. As a widow myself l understand her attachment to the husband that she lost. As long as our loved ones live in our hearts and in our homes we never REALLY lose them.
I was absolutely captivated by every word that came out of her mouth, this is by far favorite house tour, everything has so meaningful and I felt honored to watch this clip.

Never thought I could feel love through a screen. The amount of LOVE within her and for her beloved husband David Bowie is truly amazing and inspiring.
It seems clear that Iman's "love language" is gift giving. I am the polar opposite however Iman has just opened my eyes to how lovely it can be. 💗
It’s mine too, it’s nice to see how they both always gave each other thoughtful gifts. Love it 😊
Im sure many if tbese gifts were quite expensive
I respect her so much: incredible creativity, elegance, wonderful manners.
She looks right for her age
NOt to forget her sweetness!
She’s a rich model. Stop deifying the mega wealthy. She has no real problems or stress. It’s easy to be calm.
@@jenm1 She had had stress enough in her life. To be black rich supermodel in America and Europe is already very stressful.
What creativity?
Whenever I want to watch a video about true love, I watch videos where Iman talks about her relationship with David Bowie ❤️
She has aged beautifully if at all. Her love for David is still so fresh and her sadness and longing for him is still very raw. Glad she was able to heal in that beautiful surrounding and house.
She is incredibly strong yet vulnerable.
This was really emotional.
I love her
I loved this and could’ve listened to her for hours. I don’t know why but it brought tears to my eyes. Just the deep love she and David shared is so magical.
just reading your coment I realized I got tears in my eyes too. ♥
Glad to know I’m not the only one shedding tears. 😭😭😭
She expresses the grief of losing your partner so well. I truly appreciate her openness in expressing this, I connect to it so much.
The way she moves, looks and talks is so vulnerable ,pure and honest i really enjoyed watching her honer the people who matter in her live.
The minute you see this woman, you want to become friends with her. She is so amazing!
Love.
No way out perhaps ?
You can see she's trying her best to hold back her tears. Even when she says she does not cry anymore. Strong loving woman she is 💓
This video touched me. I didn't need to see the whole house to know it's beauty. What an elegant and special way to present your objects and the love for yours husband.
Touched me to 💗😭💗
She’s so kind and authentic. I felt like a friend was showing me around her house.
Also I liked the quote about giving and receiving. Many blessing to her 💗
Yes, this tour was a heart felt gift to us.
I cried throughout this entire video. The love she has for him is incredible
Crying now
I'm crying too it's infectious, rare and beautiful to see and feel the love she has for her husband
Why
This woman respects sentiment, and for that, I respect her even more. I wish to age this gracefully.
Usually I learn a lot of decorticating idea but this video taught me that having beautiful things is great but having someone special to share it with is priceless. ❤️❤️❤️
That is a beautiful sentiment, I bet she would be honored.
I agree. She is so authentic. Truly beautiful - nothing fake about her.
It’s so beautiful how she still keeps that love for David in her heart after all these years
The energy this woman has is almost divine!
The house is so beautiful and filled with things that have only personal meaning to them. Unlike other celebrities' homes, it doesn't give off "thrown money at designer" vibes.
Iman is a true example of grace, poise, style and strength. Qualities, sadly, not being emulated by enough humans.
A Somali Queen.
Having been a fan of David's for nearly 50 years, it is heartening to know that he was so truly loved!
I can see why he was so taken with her. She’s incredible. So elegant.
Fracas is my all time favorite scent, white tuberose and jasmine, and other floral scents.
@@sharonmcnally4712 same! I have looked online to purchase it but can't find it.
Yeah, she truly acts like a classic Somali noble strong but dignified ✌️❤️
@@theancientsancients1769 yup all Somali women I have met carry themselves with quiet dignity and speak very well just like her.
So true! Simply beautiful and deeply heartfelt.
I’m crying so much. To experience love like this and then have to learn how to live with such crippling absence…. God bless your doing so well 🥀
One of the most touching, beautiful videos Vogue has ever produced.
Oh her undying love for him even in her grief is so beautiful .
That painting by her daughter is really a thing of beauty.
This made me cry, I just always admired Iman and Davids love, such a once in a lifetime love, 2 totally different backgrounds beautifully molded together. So amazing to have witnessed.
I feel like he’s always with her… As if she carries him with her through these beautiful objects ❤️
I love love the fact that she creates stack stones. I wish more people do it because it can truly bring you serenity
So simple, honest and truly beautiful. As a widow myself l understand her attachment to the husband that she lost. As long as our loved ones live in our hearts and in our homes we never REALLY lose them.
I've never been so grateful for someone sharing something with the world. Godbless this woman
I was absolutely captivated by every word that came out of her mouth, this is by far favorite house tour, everything has so meaningful and I felt honored to watch this clip.
this actually made me cry. Their love is so beautiful
What an amazingly sweet soul…no wonder David lived her so much!
