This was such an enormous amount of fun, it's always a pleasure to get to "hang out" with you and the boys because you always seem to have so much fun together. Thanks for hosting! I'd never actually seen this one before, and...it was not what I was expecting lol.
Fun fact: if you want to visit the actual cemetery from the movie, it’s in Hope, New Jersey. It more or less still looks exactly like it did in the movie.
Camp Crystal Lake is also located in New Jersey. It’s a Boy Scout Camp called Lake Okeechobee.
Both of which are gorgeous and cozy locations 😊

The first Friday the 13th is definitely a product of its time and a lot of people who don't know about it will be disappointed it doesn't even have Jason. But it's still fine to appreciate as one of the grand daddies of the slasher horror films.
Vod gang here! Just watched this as my Saturday evening entertainment. I remember seeing one of the Friday the 13th movies (newer ones) but never seen this original one.
It was quite fun to watch with you all they all should've used the buddy system!
Tbh the issue with older movies is how badly they aged especially with uh.. cultural respect but also the way women are treated (loved how Flay kept calling out how creepy the flirting attempts were). Still ya gotta keep that in mind and can still enjoy watching. It wasn't really scary for me but still entertaining!

I always wanted to get around to watching this movie, since I love horror and I'm not familiar with the F13 franchise, but the last time I tried I got kind of bored with it and stopped after the first 15 minutes. Thanks for making it fun guys. Lol, it wasn't great, but at least now I can say I've seen it.
