Thanks for this watchalong! I watched this when it came out and have actively avoided it since, would not have re-watched it alone. It's so messed up. Checking out the alternative endings was pretty cool.
Shinri if you're interested in SCP concepts like an evil omnipotent room, have you ever played Control? Allan Wake 2 is coming out and I believe it's going to have more from that concept of horror as well (both games share a slight narrative link). Also, when Enslin started talking about the horror of a simple room and what makes these spaces feel so frightening, it made me think of an indie horror game called Anatomy. If you enjoy the creeping suspense Iron Lung, then it's all that then some. Very voice-over story driven too. Seems like your kind of thing.
23:40 Any haunted hotels? I would recommend the Roads Hotel. I saw an archive of a live investigation which looked pretty good and the investigators said it had good internet. It’s small and you book the entire hotel for an investigation so no worries about disturbing living occupants.

One of my favorite Stephen King Horror adaptations! So happy to see two of my favorite Holostars watching it! :D
This is one of my top 10 favorite movies and my 2nd favorite horror movie after The Shining. It deserves so much more attention.
