"some people may take offence." In a country that has local council funded security cameras on every other street corner of every city and town in the UK. Ok then...
The "UK is covered in cameras" myth is just that, a myth. It is no better or worse than any other similar country, from the USA to France or Germany. The story started based on one single deeply flawed report that looked at two streets in London and then extrapolated that to cover the entire UK. And even then the vast majority of the cameras they counted were not state, government or council cameras but those belonging to private businesses and private citizens, with many of those being in non public areas like retail warehouses, loading docks etc.
Freedom of information act, if its a public place you are allowed to film whatever and whoever you like. The PCSO explained it was a public place, ergo, film away. Disclaimer, I do not advocate the action, merely explaining the facts.
Total respect to these two PCSOs very professional and know how to deal with the public because they know the law..pity thay cant teach their Police colleagues how to do it

I once went to Birmingham and was outside the bullring shopping centre, and started to take a few photos of the surrounding area, and some nob security guard came upto me and said I could not take any pictures in this area as it was classed as private properly, I simply replied well if this is classed as private properly, then surely we are all trespassing and I believe taking photos in a public place isn’t a crime He looked liked he wanted to kill me, but knew he was powerless to stop me so I continued to take a few more photos where he could still see me just to piss him off 😂 Just simply ignore them, they have no powers to do anything and as we’ve seen, even the police can’t do anything, pathetic in this day and age, someone is suspicious if they simply take a photo in a public place, oh the hilarity 😂
I take it you don't have an SIA licence, their powers are exactly the same powers as any other pedestrian. they have Zero Authority over any other human but do have the ability (just like anyone else) to use reasonable force to prevent a crime and can (again like anyone else) perform a citizens arrest, their SIA raining is so the do not overstep the mark and find themselves in Civil or Criminal court.
On public land you can photograph or film anyone/anything, it`s the law. Without that law councils, police , homeowners etc would not be able to use CCTV cameras.
Most have a sign near them stating cctv is in use. They should have anyway. If one finds a cctv camera offensive, 1, you really have problems and 2, shop elsewhere.
"Are you an officer?" "Yes." Stop right there, PCSO's are not officers of the law, just because their job title has the word "officer" in it does not mean that they hold rank or position of authority. If I work as a binman, but my job is described as a refuse engineer, I cannot claim to have any engineering expertise or training. Ask these Mr Benn's to quote you the law or get you a real police officer to deal with you, they have no power to detain you above that possessed by any member of the public.
We had the same thing happen in Newbury with security idiots. We had a new shopping centre open and the edge of it goes by the side of a public footpath. Photography in a public place is not against the law. We did some busking just inside the door of the shopping mall for a laugh. It took 5 mins for the jobs worth to turn up. His phone rang so we carried on playing. His phone call lasted 10 mins and we made another £10. 🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant !
"some people may take offence." In a country that has local council funded security cameras on every other street corner of every city and town in the UK.
Ok then...
Some people may take offence to lots of things. I take offence to police filming me or even just looking at me
I take offense at police just breathing air
The "UK is covered in cameras" myth is just that, a myth. It is no better or worse than any other similar country, from the USA to France or Germany. The story started based on one single deeply flawed report that looked at two streets in London and then extrapolated that to cover the entire UK. And even then the vast majority of the cameras they counted were not state, government or council cameras but those belonging to private businesses and private citizens, with many of those being in non public areas like retail warehouses, loading docks etc.
It's all part of the police/nanny state!
Freedom of information act, if its a public place you are allowed to film whatever and whoever you like. The PCSO explained it was a public place, ergo, film away.
Disclaimer, I do not advocate the action, merely explaining the facts.
Total respect to these two PCSOs very professional and know how to deal with the public because they know the law..pity thay cant teach their Police colleagues how to do it
Good evening PCSO
AB could definitely pick a fight with himself. Good lad, testing people’s resolve.
They can’t cope with someone that they aren’t able to provoke into a reaction
i thought these girls were school kids lol
you have commited a crime by vertical filming you knob
ju last lmfao
Is that a fine? If so how much and does it come with prison time?
Totally agree!
It's called portrait you knob
@jhonny Walker Johnny's had a few too many wine spritzers
This officer was very decent imo
I thought so too. The creepy guy filming strangers sounds like a right clampet.
@@arontrimble1823 oh dear dear
Police dog was giving his opinion and failed in concluding there was no crime committed. His performance was poor and time wasting and therefore a waste of tax payers money. He was not aggressive or pushy, so maybe he could work in a reception for an example, not police.
I'm thinking we should all walk around in public with webcams for our own protection
I once went to Birmingham and was outside the bullring shopping centre, and started to take a few photos of the surrounding area, and some nob security guard came upto me and said I could not take any pictures in this area as it was classed as private properly,
I simply replied well if this is classed as private properly, then surely we are all trespassing and I believe taking photos in a public place isn’t a crime
He looked liked he wanted to kill me, but knew he was powerless to stop me so I continued to take a few more photos where he could still see me just to piss him off 😂
Just simply ignore them, they have no powers to do anything and as we’ve seen, even the police can’t do anything, pathetic in this day and age, someone is suspicious if they simply take a photo in a public place, oh the hilarity 😂
Porsmond…….come to Asia! You can take as many photos of as many things as you want. Just one condition - you must pay!
taking photos and video in a public place is LEGAL. And it doesn't matter what you take.... the photo and video is your copyright too.
+Ush Flynn are you a professional photographer or videographer ??
So am I
Taking video is NOT illegal. In the UK everything is NOT illegal unless there is a LAW saying it is.
Both of you are correct
@Ush Flynn wtf??!!.. um...you can't take child pornography...ANYWHERE!!!!
fux sake...who let them loose on the community without explaining their place in a community.....worrying isn't it really.🐓💨
Just ask the officer “What offence have I committed ? What act of parliament and what section of that act applies”.
I remember a time without security everywhere.
Why on earth do private security think they the right to stop anyone in a public place and enforce laws anyway? Totality ridiculous!!!
Grace Woodhouse but if it were in the actual shopping centre then it's classed as private property that invites the public in.
I take it you don't have an SIA licence, their powers are exactly the same powers as any other pedestrian. they have Zero Authority over any other human but do have the ability (just like anyone else) to use reasonable force to prevent a crime and can (again like anyone else) perform a citizens arrest, their SIA raining is so the do not overstep the mark and find themselves in Civil or Criminal court.
softair1231 I’m a security guard but I’ve never acted like that ...
then again some people get a little bit of power and it go’s to their head ..
softair1231
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bruce Lee would have sorted this out in 0.4 seconds with 4 x one inch punches
PEEYAA, PEEYAA, HIYAA, KERPOW
be like water
On public land you can photograph or film anyone/anything, it`s the law. Without that law councils, police , homeowners etc would not be able to use CCTV cameras.
Hi AB Poor powerless PCSO a Librarian has more power, the power to fine you for bringing your book back late.
Brilliant catching up with when you started 💪
Enjoy👍
Do _they_ ask for permission for filming people with their CCTV cameras all the time? Because, well, you know, some people may find it offending :q
Most have a sign near them stating cctv is in use. They should have anyway. If one finds a cctv camera offensive, 1, you really have problems and 2, shop elsewhere.
@@curls9032 That was an irony. Guards butthurt about being filmed, while they film everyone with their CCTV cameras. Get it now?
@@curls9032 The CCTV cameras are everywhere
The pcso was videoing as well on his bodycam.
Are you videotapping me on your body cam?
Yes, i do
Thats very suspicious
"Are you an officer?"
"Yes."
Stop right there, PCSO's are not officers of the law, just because their job title has the word "officer" in it does not mean that they hold rank or position of authority.
If I work as a binman, but my job is described as a refuse engineer, I cannot claim to have any engineering expertise or training.
Ask these Mr Benn's to quote you the law or get you a real police officer to deal with you, they have no power to detain you above that possessed by any member of the public.
golgotha9622 I actually did this he was a police officer at the time
@Margaret Bradley what does the O in PCSO stand for?
There are more jobsworths around today than ever. I wore uniform all my life but never felt the need to ‘use’ it as a power thing.
A suit and a walkie talkie gets them all wet. 🤣
We had the same thing happen in Newbury with security idiots. We had a new shopping centre open and the edge of it goes by the side of a public footpath. So one day the BBC turn up and started to film a historic old house also alongside the footpath. The tv crew were on the footpath filming when a power-hungry security man turned up and told them to stop filming, even thou the crew were stood on public ground and they told the guard this he still threaten them.
Section 36 of the data protection act determines you can record!
Binge watching you ABè is so funny, and still plenty to watch 🤣🤣
5 years ago, and I still get see this video on my front page.
Its a disgrace
Great to see how your confidence and style has grown from 7 years ago.
I'm more amazed by the way they're all walking on the wall at the beginning
I can not see any problem only jobs worths
the LAWFULL act of photography is "suspicious" - never mind the suspicion of the suspicioner is causing anti-social behaviour
2:05 The first thing the officer does is interrogate AB instead of addressing or actioning absolutely anything AB said. Pathetic
I was picking up a lot of sexual frustration in this encounter.
Mate your attitude is hilarious, really enjoy your vids, love how you ask questions and provoke “authority “ had to subscribe.... keep up.....great content 👍👍👍
Aww thanks for your king comment. Stay tuned
Yeah will do. Look forward for next uploads........👍👍
Security guards wearing a Skirt? Seriously now ? Only in Oxford lol 😂
@@archiefury Totally agree with you. What difference wearing a skirt has to do with carrying out security, or any other work competently is i really dont know.As you say its sexist and descrininatory, and a slur on women in general.
firstly Banbury is not Oxford but dont worry Oxfords security is just as bigger dicks
Firstly he said security guards. No mention of women. Secondly in security mobility Is key & trousers are more practical. Thirdly I don't see any women complaining about what he said. I only see 2 virtual signaller's
Virtue. ( bloody predictive txt). 😂
@@archiefury lmao yeah right.
I love how when they clearly asked "was you video people?" And you didn't say yes or no. I've seen many people record random acid attacks.
Chin girl gets made and sad lol
Plastic cops lol
I did a job in that shopping centre in 1998. It was a beaver brooks jewelers. I wonder if it's still there?
Yes mate still there
Merry Christmas AB
lol they dont change. I remember sitting waiting for a friend in the daytime years ago before the precinct was revamped and they told me to move or Id be arrested. I was 17 and alone pmsl. Mad.
I like your cool calm approach pal. 👍🏻
we live apparently in a free country, they have a right to be offended. he also has a right to film in public, so PCSO jog on.
Cops are there to serve & protect the public & not to harass & intimidate the public who are using public photography. They all need to be thoroughly trained correctly otherwise should be sacked.
9 Years ago? still no coppers with a single bran cell, still spouting the same crap
You are awesome bro!... easily the best auditor in the UK. Very inspired
Photography in a public place is not against the law. People are entitled to object to being on camera without consent and this also should be respected unless, unless capturing them in “the shot” is unavoidable or, is accidental. If you’re asked politely to avoid getting them ‘ in shot’ this should not unreasonably be denied where possible.
Nah
You've not a clue snowflake
Without a warrant card they have no power, anyone who works for the county or government can be filmed
Funny how this lot understand the term private property when it comes to their property but not anyone elses.
AB you need an award 🥇
