No matter how many times I hear Jake's version of this I am still amazed at his playing. Don't think I'll ever get to that standard of playing. He is a living Uke-legend! Thanks for uploadeing the video.
From the prelude to the last beat, I found I was barely able to breathe, his performance was so spellbinding. Many thanks from this whitey euro haole gabacho.
i went to hongkong just last christmas, and i went to buy a uke there. and on the store's walls, i saw a picture of Jake at exactly the same place here in this video! i would love to meet him one day. he's absolutely amazing. :D
Such an inspiration. Jake is amazing. I love all types of music & I honestly respect musicians so much who creating music, with no need for lyrics just with the instrument itself I personally believe is very beautiful. And that bring upon inspiration and end up very touching for others.
@mobyfreerunner Awesome! those guys are great! i buy my ukes from them as well :D yeah i was gonna get lessons from them, but i learn just as much from UA-cam XD was it ur first uke tht u bought?
Yeah, his skills are great and all but what I find most impressive is that he's able to play what he did in this video without any kind of a strap to keep the uke from falling.
@mreoinobrien i know! JAke is my inspiration and the whole reason i began playing the ukulele, that was 2 years ago, and i am still nowhere near perfecting this song! XD

Beautiful and cool performance!! Thank you for sharing, enjoyed your wonderful cover version! Like and Subed! Have a great weekend!
I noticed his Uke was all bookmatched quartersawn KOA wood. Perfectly matched to a prodigy. Magnificent
It’s amazing what he can bring out of a Uke!
George would have loved this.

Jake is the reason I took up the ukelele. The man is a legend

@mobyfreerunner went to the one in Tsim Sha Tsui, called Hong Kong Ukulele Store. Apparently the guy who sells the ukes also teaches lessons
WOW!!!
@iRiNa2112 Hey i live in Hong kong! what Uku store did you go to? there isnt a very large Uke community in Hong Kong :(

He is wearing a strap. It goes underneath the ukulele and attaches to the bottom front of the hole.
@iRiNa2112 u know why? those guys who run the stores organized this Jake's workshop! :) his live performance is amazing!

Very well done Jake 👏
👍
yes there is... it hooks on the bottom of the uke, and goes around his neck.. thats what that black hook is below the hole...
素晴らしい!
Lol, Jake's facial expressions are funny.
