LED landling lights really do make a huge difference when compared to the old halogens. Though the ones holding short of the runway won't like them lol.
Haha, thats how i play Flightsimulator. First i am to high to catch the ILS gs, then after turning off the autopilot i am too high or too low, and after landing i realise i have forgotten to turn on autobreak :D
@@noahmiller985 This aircraft landed on Runway 19R and the length is 3600m… Using no auto-brake function can save wear on the brakes and overall aircraft.
Autobrakes are optional for landing. The pilots can decelerate the aircraft using their normal toe brakes. Only for takeoff, autobrake MAX must be selected on the Airbus for RTO/rejected takeoff.
I'm guessing ATC restriction on speed. Usually you have to hold 160 kts or more until 4 nm from RWY. Edit: Just checked the AIP charts from ENGM (Gardemoen) and confirmed. Under section 2 (Arrival) under 2.1 (speed): "MNM IAS 160 KT to D4 ILS/DME ...."
Love the final adjustments to capture the Glideslope, playing with all settings, speed, vertical speed mode, open descent. all in one. Great video
I love the cockpit of the A320neo at night! Great video.

lovely landing !
Great video!!
Great Landing

why did autobrake not set?
thats what im wondering lol. maybe theres some procedure that allows pilots to do manual braking during the landing?

why they didn't select autobrake?
First!
why did he set the speed to the next lower limit instead of simply managing the speed? 😅

@@unexspectedk1ll Correct, while not on the plates they expect 200 to 10nm, 180 to 6nm and 160 to 4 (mandatory)
