Such a great video. Just changed the window regulator in my 2019 Fabia. Had a similar issue with the white clips holding the glass in and had to drill them out as my replacement regulator just latches onto the window.
Great video which explained the steps exactly. I replaced the regulator in my Dad's 2015 Fabia following this, it took a bit longer than expected as the white clips holding the glass in place were very tight. It took a bit of extra force using a rubber hammer to push out the small one and then the big one while my Dad held the glass and door to stop it bouncing. I didn't take the glass out as my Dad held it in place while I fitted the regulator in place so it helps if you have a second pair of hands. Thanks!
I'd always try to improve on them apart from repair before it came to me, replace any broken clips, Amazon has some good quality replacement parts or the local MSL dealer often has good sets. clean the door card. Sometimes it the small details that sets us apart.
Once the old regulator is out put both parts of the pins back into the glass fit the new regulator the simply push the glass down into the regulator i did it your way for years and found it fiddly

Good tip, the top of the plastic was sloped for them to snap in.
