Such an amazing property, my dream is to retire and live on a block like this. I cannot think of any way of life better than this. Growing food, mowing lawns, chickens, dogs and cats, no neighbours, no sirens, no commuting, just peace and quiet. All you are missing is a pool. Dream. Well done you. I will do it, but it is maybe ten years away when I will be 58, if I am still alive.
Acacia dealbata, the silver wattle, blue wattle or mimosa, is a species of flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae, native to southeastern Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory
That poor little chihuahua just wants to love you Tim lol I have an American Staffy x Chihuahua and yes, he looks as strange as you think he does - and he just wants to love me as well and I also give him that same look haha
Aaawww your little chihuahua was just trying to give you kisses. Maybe she feels a little left out. But! On to the trencher. I could use something like that but there so many rocks up here in northern Wisconsin (glacier territory) that it wouldn't work. But I would like it anyway.
Ah everyone’s onto it, wattle tree, lemonade lemon. Clued up subscribers 👏👏👏 Oh and I flipped laugh my head off with you calling your hens, Greg & forgotten the other male name…. 😂😂😂 hehe they are all girl birds Tim boys don’t lay eggs!!
Probably a Meyer Lemon, very sweet lemon. Brilliant planting Nicole! Black wattle trees, are native but a weedy native, grow at the drop of a hat. Loved seeing the chickens, you know they are all girls, right? Awesome trencher. Have fun in Perth
Hi Tim your lawn looks good mate. The new part that you have done come up alright on the screen but I like your property mate and your sheds. Hope you and the family go well mate. Keep your Clips coming. You show very good. Interesting stuff on them. 👍🏻🇦🇺🍺🍺
It is a Wattle. Acacia mearnsii, Sydney Black Wattle. Short lived native forest legume. Lives about 7 to 10 years. Very hot firewood when seasoned. Very common in Sydney and surrounds. Protected species over 2mtrs.
Chuffed for a chance to see the chooks on a live stream! Hi Maggie! Hi Kevin! That trencher is serious business. Hope you let Carthic have a go😉 Good Green luck on your veggies planted so far. 👏👏
Wow that is an interesting piece of machinery to dig trenches. Love the dogs and i had to laugh when you held the Chihuahua which has a tongue with a mind of its own haha. A friend of mine has a dog with the same licking issue and i have a Chihuahua that doesn't do that, ahhh perfect.
Well Tim, it looks like a mean bit of kit, definitely does what it says on the tin, I'll bet there will be tram lines all over the yard once youve had a better play, safe travels buddy
Raised beds. 😊 Now you have a property with BIG trees...and you totally/absolutely need a helmet...please Specially if tranching...rocks can fly out...so helmet with complete face shield.
Decomposed shale about 5cm thick over your muddy spots, let it settle and compact a bit and then you can topsoil and plant grass again. Muddy spots get clay deposit the shale is micro porous so good for letting air and water cycle in the soil to promote breakdown of debris and root development for stronger turf. Deer repellant around your property will help, or just keep seeding and feeding until you have a herd of deer 👽🗿👽🗿🤣🤷♂️
Ahoj Time, 😊. Moc se mně líbí ta krásná tráva u cisteren. Opravdu se vyplatí na tom pořádně zapracovat. U těch slepic byly citrony a nebo jiné ovoce?? A nakonec asi nějaká zvláštní pila😅. Co jsi s ní dělal. Byla větší než já 😅. Měj hezkou neděli! 👍👍🌿Jana 🏆👋🌹
Jeez, I hope you know where all of your services are before you start digging trenches, Tim. If you cut something with that mechanical badger, you’ll get a surprise. Might also be time to get some safety chaps and boots. You’d look a little odd doing free mow Fridays on one leg. I would recommend learning to make your own limoncello if you have that many lemons. An OCD guy like you would enjoy the two chemical reactions in that process. A bit of work, but worth it.
One of the many reasons I find Tim so amusing..he’s so diverse. A Mexican and Italian dog 😂 also, is it just me or have y’all noticed these Aussie folk talk they take out the ‘R’ in words like when he said “Come over hee” (here) and dee for deer 😂 yet when he said he had an idea he said idear 😂😂 I absolutely love this farm he’s got goin on. So much to entertain us with. 😂🇺🇸
I always watch to see what tools you try out because my husband loves tools and I tell him about things I see you trying. He's not much on watching videos and such. Anyway, I get the benefit of your humor watching also 😄 You have a great sense of humor!

Love seeing Maggie. She is just so cute. Lemon tree is beautiful, time to make some lemonade.

I was thinking mimosa as well
Thanks for the Rye Mr. Tim - signed, Deer. The chickens are adorable

Looks like it grows quick for sure 👍

I’ll get onto the stream project when I get back from Perth 🙌
Saw a video with a full size trencher, almost identical to the mini, did an incredible job.
The lemon tree maybe a lemonade tree

That thing is awesome and also looks very intimidating 😳
Nice! This should make your work a lot easier. Can't wait for the chicken live stream.😊
🙌

You need a slip joint in the upright on the tank overflow, the tank will grow and shrink as it fills.
Interesting. I never considered that
Had the same trouble with our tank, that’s what the plumber installed.
the tree looks like an Acacia decurrens (black wattle)
I enjoyed that Tim 👍❤️
Raised beds.
😊

24 HOUR LATER:Tim you have landline?Tim you have electricity haha
I think miners typically use much bigger machines than that anyway.
G'day Nicole & Tim, Kevin & Maggie,
🤔Deer 💩💩ing on the grass & Nicole Peed in the Veggie Garden 😂
Hey Tim, that tree is definitely native! It's some type if wattle!
Cheers
Hey Tim, another Aussie UA-camr did a review on that trencher recently, might be able to get some operating tips from Farm learning with Tim Thompson
Looks like a wattle tree
That was my guess - wattle.

Looks like a black wattle. Lots of them in the bush around Beaumont Hills. Only guessing though.
I thought Black Wattle, too
Awesome piece of kit. Looks perfect for home lawn irrigation install.
Exactly!
You looked like that character in Doom with that chainsaw waiting for Imps. Beast of a machine though. Chucks are coming on too, mate
That was the vibe I was going for
@@turfandtools nailed it, Tim. Did you by any chance play that given you got the reference straight off the bat? I did when it first came out.
👍🏼
100% some type of wattle tree (Acacia) Very fast growing trees. Leave them if you have the space for it.
Seems to be a popular answer 👌
Deer like eaying you grass...
Venison on Rye?
😂
In the US we call these raised beds

Tree might be a pepper tree
Black wattle

Would the cutting part on the trencher be teeth on the chain?
Oh look out everyone. Tim has a new toy! This looks a bit more dangerous than the usual tool. Be safe.
If you want to find out about a plant that you google app and you take a picture of it and it’ll tell you the plant
Have you done a review on the Ryobi 36v whisper blower I see in the background? Have fun in Perth. A freebie holiday. Working of course 😂😂😂
I haven’t but I will. Blowers are a little boring to review
@@timthelawnmowermanshorts looking forward to it.
I think the tree is a wattle it’s a native plant
That looks like a dangerous bit of gear that I have zero use for but so desperately want for some unknown reason.

Thanks for the support!
The handle on that trencher cart seems super loose and flimsy?!?
The handle isn’t actually what you pull. You pull it with your waist. The handle is just your set the angle and control the throttle
Hi Mat - Does Carthic have a youtube channel ?
No mate he doesn’t. He’s on Instagram and TikTok. -Matt
@@turfandtools😂😂
Have you quit firefighting?
No mate
Wattle, native they die after a year or so. And report on their own.
the trencher are $4,200 to $4,500
As in this video around $5k but that also includes the kit to use it as a power saw. 👍 I was talking to them just after I posted
Eating lemons raw?!! You’re crazy.
I usually microwave my mandarins for 10 mins before I eat it!!!
😂
Its a Mimosa tree I think - some varieties when you touch the leaves they close up. Watch with sound off. ua-cam.com/video/nPf3FbR6eQE/v-deo.html
It doesn’t retract like that but thanks for looking
