All lindustan supporters live in india but india is only 1 of 9 nations of pakhand bharat 😂😂😂😂😂 What happened to Afg? Pak? Tibet? Nepal? Burma? Bangladesh? Bhutan? Kashmir?
I remember hearing that the land the Sikhs claim includes areas where Sikhs only make up like 2% of the population and doesn’t include the capital of the Sikh empire which is in what is now Pakistan which really makes you think
2% in the worlds most populated county is a lot still, also 99.99% Sikhs that were living in Lahore the previous capital were forced to migrate in 1947, barely less than 10,000 Sikhs live in Pakistan which is already one of the more populated countries in the world
Rich Sikhs leave india not the poor ones. In punjab 80% land is owned by 20% people. Who can afford the foreign education and living. Punjab is in shambles due to drugs, and bad farming practices like over farming, farming only water intensive crops which have deteriorated the soils fertility.
Growing rice in Punjab takes up four times the water it takes to grow the same amount of rice in Bengal and twice the amount it takes to grow the same amount of rice in Bihar. That's why they're focused on MSP for these crops because they have developed infrastructure for specific crops and don't want to shift. In short, they're in the comfort zone and want short term benefits instead of moving to other more sustainable crops.
Before the September 11, the bombing of Air India Flight 182 in 1985 was one of the deadliest single acts of aviation terrorism in history which left 329 dead (mostly Canadians). The suspects were individuals associated with Sikh separatist groups in Canada. To think they are harmless would be a mistake.
In the years after the bombing, the entire movement fell apart. India linked terrorist acts of almost 40 years ago to the current activists, who did nothing violent.

As a sikh living in Australia, this so called khalistan movement is just so radical. Being born in India and travelled to the most of the country, i have so many memories attached with India. For religious extremists and goons, why would i give up on a country that i have lived in. Sikh people have so many sikh temples (called Gurudwaras) , in other Indian states like in Bihar(Patna), Maharashtra (Nanded), Karnataka (Bidar), and even in today's state of Delhi, Haryana, Himachal, which were once part of Punjab. And hypothetically speaking, even if these extremist get Khalistan, they ain't getting Pakistan Punjab or even Delhi, for an instance. And if hypothetically Khalistan is ever made, why would Indians keep Gurudwaras in other Indian states ? Because this would give Indians legitimate right to demolish such religious structures, and technically they won't be wrong. And if by any chance, so called Khalistani state citizens ask for Pakistan punjab as part of Khalistan, why would Pakistan keep Gurudwara in kartarpur district, which is one of the sacred pilgrimage sites of sikhism. And even, Khalistan formation , would lead to violent clashes abroad, literally becoming a nightmare for the west. Khalistan was once funded by western powers and is still funded by the US, Canada in particular, a fact well known in sikh community and India obviously, the west will ultimately end up regretting it, just like the US now regrets Taliban. The ideology of Khalistan is as backward as extremist organization. World is better off without another extremist state. It's time, we include extreme religion as one of the most pressing reasons that could be responsible for civilisational extinction.
Hey brother, 90% of the Sikhs of India are ready to give their life for India, we know that all this Khalistan etc. is nonsense. 😅😂Yes but we are sad that the lessons from Afghanistan and Pakistan have ended. If Khalistan is formed, it should be formed first in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

This is why people should be very wary of foreigners in government. The fact that Canada's politics is dominated by sikhs raises a lot of questions about split loyalties and conflicts of interests. What's going on in India should have no place in Canadian government policy, but it does, and it's a clear indictment of the failure of the concept of a multicultural society.
Yet another reason secularism is crucial to the stability of a nation-state, religious organizations tend to have priorities beyond the health and prosperity of the people
It's par for the course for separatists in multiethnic countries to head over to the West and for the West to shelter them on Freedom of Speech grounds. The US does this both with its enemies like China (Tibetans and Uyghurs) as well as nominal allies like Turkey (Kurds). The geopolitical aim of course is to leverage these separatists in order to pressure the home country on various issues (for India, it would be US & EU displeasure with India's ties to Russia). India will have to deal with this diplomatically because they really can't kill their way out of this problem & the US + West will never extradite the Sikh separatists.
Diplomacy really hasn't been Indias strongest suit, to be honest. Had diplomacy been practised (by Indira Gandhi) in the early 70s (granting or negotiating state autonomy to those requesting it rather than rejecting it outright and engaging in a bloody battle with those requesting it) when seccesionism was a mere concept at its infancy, then the full blown seperatist movement we see today wouldn't have happened. Cause and affect, one reaps what one sows.

I am just not a big fan of separatism because of religious identity. Something that in one generation can completely change. Look at how quickly religious division is becoming unimportant in Northern Ireland. The borders of Punjabi was also very unnaturally drawn so Sikhs could have a majority. Trudeau hasn't given any evidence to back up his 'credible allegations' against India over the murder of Nijjar who most likely died of gang wars which are rampant within the Sikh community of Canada. So believing in this narrative that India assassinated Nijjar is BS.

Very interesting video. I'm Jewish and we have a close feeling of affinity for the Sikhi as they've faced a very similar history to us. Strangely enough, the partition of India affected my family too as my great-grandparents found themselves in the middle of the Punjab during that time
Trudeau also made his claims because of a grudge he had against India. Basically what happened was that Trudeau made a trip to India and insulted them by mispronouncing one of their leaders names which one I don't know. anyway Trudeau acted like it was their problem for getting mad. his ego was quite the mountain back then.
No actually we don't care about misspelled name but actually when he visited one of the city in Punjab he wanted to go to sikh religion site to visit but the Governor/CM refused to let him unless he is able to held a meet with Trudeau and so trudeau had to reluctantly agree and in that meeting he handed him list with 20 names of extremities which India wanted to extract which kinda made Trudeau more angry about the situation
That’s why Sikhs in the army mutiny during operation blue star and than after indhiras death thousands of Sikhs including army personnel were burned alive
I think the reason you gave of why Trudeau basically blurted out this accusation, because possibly the media caught wind of it, makes a lot of sense. (Not a Trudeau fan) But something I find extremely ironic is that so many Canadians complain about everything Trudeau does, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. His government is going through a public inquiry because of Chinese election interference and quite literally everyone was angry at this, especially because they had known about it and were not transparent or seemed to have taken any action. But in 2022 Global News broke a story on it and then it was hellfire, which could explain his behaviour with India. However, even when he made this accusation, and later it was corroborated with US intelligence, Canadians were complaining about him for disturbing our relationship with India, blah blah blah. All of the complaints about foreign interference in our country were suddenly forgotten when he actually decided to take a stand against it for once 😂

6:20 In Turkey, we have a slang sentence for Indira Gandhi İrdire gandi yapmak(doing Indira Gandhi, but her name Indira transforms to indirmek, cebe indirmek means pocketing). We use this for immediately taking in/stealing something. This comes from her corruption cases in her service.
Khalistan is west issue or raised from west. West (govt) or few group there using this issue against India. So west and Pakistan using such issue to destabilize here.
I'm so glad PoliticswithPaint made a video on this manner. However, they left many important facts out, including: 1. Sikhs were only 2% of the population during independence, but made more contributions to the Indian independence movement than all other groups combined. The British realized this roll and offered them a separate state, but India promised the Sikhs a separate state for them. 2. Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale entered the Golden Temple in late 1983, while Operation Blue Star started its planning in 1982. It wasn't really to flush out any "terrorists". It was to steal the Sikh spirit and destroy their holiest shrine. Him and his followers did have weapons, but they were all licensed and legal. Operation Blue Star also attacked 40 other Gurduaras (sites of worship for Sikhs) in Punjab. The operation was done on a day where a large gathering was expected; the 378th anniversary of the 5th Sikh Guru, the architect of the Darbar Sahib. All he asked for was to have rights those of which other Indian states had. Not anything independent. Indian media and propaganda portrayed it as wanting a separate state. 3. When Mahatma Gandhi was killed by a Hindu, the safety of the Hindus was assured before publicly releasing the assassination. When Indira Gandhi was killed, no such safety measure was taken, and the death was publicly released on radios and national TV. It's like the whole Israel-Palestine issue. Israel and India claim they're flushing out so called "terrorists", but really, they're just ethnically cleansing the region.
This video shows how little you actually know about the issue and how shallow your research is on the topic. you didn't even mentioned the drug and gangwarfare among different khalistani groups in Canada and the fact that Khalistani movement is dead on the ground in India.
Can you use the official flag of India and their would not be any khalistan ever in India the Sikh community is one of the respected and honoured by their bravery in army and charity work and their are 2 special regiment for them from British era , this khalistan issue has emerged due to Canada people and some foreign influence.
I think we (Indians) have to beat their bond . Without Hindus, who are Sikhs and without Sikhs who are Hindus. Saying both sharing comman history is much less than reality which is both are natives to a common land and abide to protect their culture, The one true culture of great ancient Indian civilization .

"Unknown gunmen" probably arent authorised to operate on US soil. Yet.
It makes me happy that at least in India people are aware of these things (as in America and Europe this is seen as conspiracy theories).
This latest flare up of attacks started when west was trying to pressure India to work against Russia. There have been about 10 attacks on Indian embassies and consulates with zero suspects apprehended. In canada even the Indian ambassador was directly attacked, and guess what... no arrests.
@@VTh-f5x No offense, but I think you are looking too much into it. Consulates and embassies get vandalized and attacked all the time. And doubly so when it comes to powerful and influential countries like India.
On the failure to apprehend the suspects, you know what they say - never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. Western law enforcement is notoriously inept and toothless these days. And they are *EXTREMELY* inept and toothless regarding crimes committed by a certain "community." For example, in the UK, they literally allowed a r**e gang of that "community" to operate for years because they were afraid of being called racist.
Besides, it doesn't make much sense to me - why would Western governments orchestrate something like that on purpose? It's not like a few graffiti on a wall of some consulate or some people protesting in front of it is going to scare the Indian government lmao. If anything, it will make them mad and less willing to negotiate.
TL;DR - This sounds like the classic 21st-century story of Western governments being so incompetent that their ineptitude starts to look like a conspiracy. Which is a story that is as common as the sunrise these days.

Right
I'm so glad PoliticswithPaint made a video on this manner. However, they left many important facts out, including:

Ask any Sikh in India, they are SAFE and HAPPY in India. Sikhs are pride of India and this Pakistan based insurgency will not work on our Sikhs.

I know why Justin wanted to speak out. Nobody knows him. He wanted to be known. And second. Almost everybody knows Justin Bieber more than Justin Trudeau. He got angry. 🤬
What country are you from? You should have it in your bio.
Hello there, nice to see you here! I'm from Europe, but I prefer not to share too much about myself on the internet for privacy reasons.
@@PoliticswithPaint I don’t think identifying which country of millions of millions of people you live in is going to put you in much danger. It’s good for the audience to know what background/perspective the speaker represents.
@@JJMcCullough Sure, but I also don't think it says much about my perspective either. That would be rather my sources, which are in each video description if not featured directly in the video itself. If you have any questions, feel free to email me!
Great Question, sir; people value transparency. I suggest this UA-camr be more open about his ideologies rather than being faux "neutral."

The irony of Canada's prime minister pushing for the self-determination of a People with a unique culture within a country...
For a diaspora within Canada..
But
*please ignore Quebec, just literally 1 person in 5 within Canada, with a unique culture and language*
west india relationship will end like china weat relationship. It is how west treats its allies like kurds who were not aligned with a certain Nato partner.
So far i see BRICs a more reliable alliance for india amd global south
BRICs
reliable
LMAO
Absolutely not. Brics is a brick with 0 value for India.

Its our bargaining chip !
And a body were China and India come on one table ! So its good to have it ! Someday who knows China India clear the differences and join hands ! Other than land we have no issue even if China takeover world market ! We simply do not Care since west already have domination over world market ! We are in middle ! Whoever come on to doesn't matter !
You are right. After dealing with china, west will start countering India.
But India also has plans to tear down the western alliance system.
Operation blue star- read why Khalistan exists in the first place
The "Sikh" as an identity is just as much a British-created identity as the "Hindu" and even "Muslim".
"Sikh" just means disciple.
lol you guys wonder why sikhs want independence and then treat their identity like some fodder. Maybe value and understand their identity a bit more before you wonder why the independence movement is forming
I have read here Punjabi people don't complain about this issue, but the diaspora do. So the problem is the diaspora which has a dream. I think the diaspora must talk to the local people instead of creating a big issue.
Another good video as usual
This analysis is almost 100% accurate. Great job. Your sources are factual. Because many distort the story as usual toward on or the other side based on where there allegiance or hate is directed towards.
