No country is too big to fail. If that was the case then USSR would not have collapsed. The world community should manage the collapse of pakistan in a similar way like they did with USSR and should together secure their nuclear arms which are indeed a threat to the world in the hands of ideologically driven army and radicalized population as evident by the army’s support to terrorism making it the country to host the highest number of banned terrorist organizations and terrorists in the world. P.S Osama Bin Laden was found in the army town of Abbottabad in Pakistan.
The USSR arsenals mostly transfered to the different successor nations, with the nuclear arsenal in Russia. We didn't get to see a nuclear-armed post-soviet minor nation.

Throughout British rule, Pakistan (as well as India and the other territories of the British Raj like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and Myanmar) were exploited economically and didn't have many companies or industries, or infrastructure or many firm, strong political bodies set up. Then, suddenly Pakistan gains independence, and has to scrap together a government. That will really take a toll on a new nation. Look at Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and even the USA. All former British colonies, the further back they got independence or self governance, the more developed they became because they had hundreds of years, and even during colonial rule had time to establish infrastructure and businesses. But no! The main, and possibly only one company in the British Raj was the East India Trading Company, which ceased to even exist in 1874. Britain only farmed resources from the British Raj, and minimal companies, infrastructure, or competent governmental bodies were established. Also, even after independence, Pakistan somehow has debt from the British Raj, which was caused by the British! If the British picked up all the debt from their former colonies, their economy would collapse! Also, it's not just the debt, Pakistan also has to establish infrastructure, and a competent government without corruption, right? Well you can't have that in a colony that had no firm government other than the UK! The only person who is responsible for Pakistan's economic situation if UK, and they need to pick up the slack for Pakistan, and all their former colonies. How do you expect a firm government, and good economy with that situation? Canada got self governance the earliest of every British colony, and look at how they are!

@@decaddee2 Sad thing is that before British rule, the independent state which encompassed the majority of present-day Pakistan (the 'Sikh Empire', aka 'Kingdom of the Punjab'), only had c.1.2% of the world's population, 40% of present-day Pakistan's share; but roughly 2.5 to 3% of the global economy, according to both their own official figures and foreign agents' estimates (the British, French and Russians). Documented as having over 3 times the average GDP/capita of the Indian sub-continent as a whole- making its GDP/capita on a par with that of contemporary Germany. But of course, all of that development had to be dismantled and stripped away when the British East India Company took over; since they had a massive trade surplus with the British Raj (estimated at roughly a third of their GDP, and thus 0.8-1% of the entire world's GDP- about twice the relative size of China's current trade export surplus with the USA today, with around the same 4:1 export-import ratio), and that couldn't be allowed to persist "for the greater good of the British Empire's world domination". With proudly cited achievements of 'western civilization' like 'germ theory' having originally been espoused by them (with François-Vincent Raspail's 'helminth theory' and his 'Methode Raspail' having basically been directly copied and adopted from contemporary Punjabi practices, which he'd been informed of in correspondences with the leaders of the Fauj-i-Khas, who were fellow members of the Carbonari & Continental Freemason 'Grand Orient de France') being actively purged and outlawed under the British Raj. Which decried it all as "baseless nonsense, borne of the Indian N#groids' inherent racial tendency towards superstition", and was still issuing official declarations that "no microbes found in the living blood of any animal can ever be pathogenic, all diseases and maladies are caused by MIASMAS instead" as late as the early 20th century. But even so, immediately prior to them being granted full independence, the lands of present-day Pakistan were the wealthiest and most developed in the former British Raj by a considerable margin; with more than twice the GDP/capita of the newly independent India, and around the same GDP/capita as those of Turkiye, Mexico and pre-partitioned Korea. With South Korea later on, even with their own military junta holding onto the reins of power there, successfully pulling off the 'Miracle on the Han River' by adopting a set of economic 'Five Year Plans', the first of which was literally adopted and modeled directly after the first couple of 'Five-Year Plans for the National Economy of Pakistan'. So the UK certainly isn't the sole party responsible for Pakistan's economic situation. Before Operation Gibraltar, Pakistan was basically the original 'Asian Tiger', tipped by everyone in the West to be just as prosperous and developed as South Korea wound up becoming in the end. And they still probably would've been, if they hadn't bothered with it when they did, or at all. Rather than simply assuming, as they did, that "Cause we're an official member of Western anti-Soviet Alliances, and the USA signed an Agreement of Co-operation with us 6yrs ago, promising to send their troops to support us in any conflict, we can trust the USA to swoop in to the rescue and defeat India for us, just like they did for South Korea in the Korean War!" Then turning down China's offer to send its own troops to support their war against India, on the grounds that "the West'll wag their fingers at us for siding with you, so even if we win together, there's no way that closer ties with your worthless military and economic market could ever come close to benefiting us even half as much as choosing to lose and selling ourselves into debt-slavery to the USA!"

The main reason for Pakistan to not progress and stay politically unstable is military establishment. Every time Pakistan gets a stable government who tries to take some corrective measures, military generals jump in to save the status-quo. Its unfortunate but true and hence the cycle of turmoil goes on.
This is also the first time in the history of the country that the population has raised against the military. Totally unprecedented, but completely justified. Down with the corrupt generals
It's also because of the way the country was founded - muslim leaguers didn't have much organic support in present Pakistan territories (unionist party feudals were strong there) and middle Indian migrants only made up 10% of the population - concentrated in Karachi. The political elites sabotaged democracy because they realized they could not win elections in the new country. They started this 'technocratic rule' nonsense - which the military eventually took over.
Well you need PEOPLE to ALLOW the cycle of turmoil to go on...........like autocracy in China keeps going on and on and on...............and army rule (also autocracy, learned from China, maybe??) still keeps on and on and on. This is the 3rd video/article I've read on the threat of Pakistan's nuclear weapons falling in the wrong hands. Their nuclear weapons have already fallen into the wrong hands several times. A stable Pakistan was a rogue state anyway. There seems to be a concerted effort by DGISPR to get their hands on the IMF loans by scaring everyone as usual
military dictatorship is one thing, Pakistan is a military dictatorship which is funded and dictated by the British MI6 and American Cia . A honest , pure selfless military dictatorship would be great . Pakistan is a British-American satellite state.
Pakistan will never break internally, it is a very strong country, people are very patriotic, they can live in absolute poverty without any aid, Bangladesh and Kashmir are gone due to india but not by the will of people of these areas
Reasons behind the army state of Pakistan's sufferings 1. USA's exit from Afghanistan and subsequent stoppage of donations to Pakistan from USA. 2. Pakistan has fooled the IMF 22 times but this time IMF took tough stance and that country is suffering.
1. Stop dealing in $US 2. Stop blaming India for your issues. See that giant as a trading partner, not an enemy. Fight your battles on the cricket pitch, not with weapons. 3. Support what makes you great. Textiles and motorcycle clothing. 4. Recognise the World Bank/IMF/USA are not your friends and dealing with them will keep you poor. 5. Beware of China. They play a long game.
Not blaming India goes against the narrative Pakistan has created for themselves. They literally cannot take care of their own country, yet they want Kashmir from India and India is the devil for not complying lol.

This is why you don't build a country based purely off religion, all it can lead to is instability, compared with India which more or less learnt to have different groups working together (but even that isn't perfect)
I don't have the numbers but if you were to do a study on the subject matter I wouldn't be surprised if the reversed is true. Multicultural states often goes to shit as soon as the economy does poorly. That's why a lot of the successful ones are here because the bad ones died out.
@@The_Midnight_Bear that or the Indian subcontinent should have never been divided. If India's infrastructure extended into modern day Pakistan, the standard of living would have been actually okay. Plus, a higher Muslim population would force Hindu nationalist movements to yield, possibly allowing for more religious tolerance in India. Modi is a symptom of this mistake.
You can build a country based purely off religion. Just that the religion has to be malleable and liberal to changing times with the ability to criticize and discuss.

It's important to consider that a country's status as a nuclear power doesn't justify all actions. Pakistan faces challenges such as corruption, military involvement in politics, and terrorist activities. Merely providing bailouts without addressing underlying issues won't lead to positive progress. One possible approach could be linking assistance to the condition of nuclear disarmament. When helping a troubled nation, it may be beneficial to reduce their empowerment.
I'd like to see what China wants to do. I know they have kept channels with Afghanistan, Pakistan etc. They're an option for nations that don't want demands on democracy and such. The PRC hasn't stopped the ongoing korean republic's nuclear program, they're still a chinese client state.
The disarmament of Pakistan would almost certainly lead to India invading. Nuclear weapons and Pakistan's relationship with China are the only reasons why India has been kept at bay.
Having visited Pakistan many times and come across it's peoples generous hospitality and the stunning natural beauty, sadly the only question I have is: How did Pakistan even make it so far? The levels of rampant corruption in Government, the social services, the military and the police are astounding. And it has been this way for decades.
At the beginning it was good, even south korea came to Pakistan to learn. However more corrupt leaders and the army having power led to them just begging for money
Hospitality and generosity is only for foreigners and for temporary period , once u ask to stay there and if u are a non muslim ,then u will be converted or killed.

Question is where did you come across the military's corruption while you visited the country "many times". Somebody whose was born and lived there I have come across the military many time while visiting cantonment areas perhaps a dozen times a year but was never exposed to their "corruption". I am not saying the military isn't corrupt in the least but for somebody whose visited Pakistan "many times" the comment seems more so a fabrication than reality. This is so dumb. Why would Afghanistan invade Pakistan? They are allies. Even if the taliban decides to invade Pakistan the military will easily crush them. A militia group can’t defeat one of the worlds strongest militaries.
Really, stop living in a fancy world, especially when Pakistan owes 130 billion in debt and nobody wants to bail Pakistan out because Financial institutions and donor countries know that Pakistan is unable to pay them back.

No . Stop being stupid @decaddee2
I don't know if you were aware of this before making this video, but it has been pakistan's whole policy for last 2 decades to threaten other countries to provide money, and if they don't, a nuclear Pakistan will self destruct.

military dictatorship is one thing, Pakistan is a military dictatorship which is funded and dictated by the British MI6 and American Cia . A honest , pure selfless military dictatorship would be great . Pakistan is a British-American satellite state.
@@shaniell.mathur6372 Absolutely, no doubt about that.

Absolutely beautiful presentation. As far as Pakistan goes, it is paying for its distorted policies and bad management/ loot by army.
Army ? What about the politicians like PMLN and PPP ?
Reasons behind the army state of Pakistan's sufferings
1. USA's exit from Afghanistan and subsequent stoppage of donations to Pakistan from USA.
2. Pakistan has fooled the IMF 22 times but this time IMF took tough stance and that country is suffering.
Wow, IMF got fooled 22 times. India should take advantage of the IMF. Just stop at 21 times, else IMF will wise up.
Nope
1. Stop dealing in $US
Idk why every India thinks that an average Pakistani thinks of them as an enemy we don’t we blame our government and army for everything but honestly people in Pakistan are cowards we don’t protest

The problem is the sheer risk involved for everyone. Better to have a poor but stable nuclear State than a collapsed one
They will never give up on the nuclear weapons as they are in conflict with India, another nuclear state. There is no solution there yet.
The disarmament of Pakistan would almost certainly lead to India invading. Nuclear weapons and Pakistan's relationship with China are the only reasons why India has been kept at bay.

Line Of Control. Where delusion ends and cold hard reality begins.
Having visited Pakistan many times and come across it's peoples generous hospitality and the stunning natural beauty, sadly the only question I have is:
How did Pakistan even make it so far?
The levels of rampant corruption in Government, the social services, the military and the police are astounding. And it has been this way for decades.
Deep rooted Islamic fundamentalism and hate towards Hindus and India led this situation in which Pakistan is.
75 years of just hobbling ahead.
At the beginning it was good, even south korea came to Pakistan to learn. However more corrupt leaders and the army having power led to them just begging for money
Hospitality and generosity is only for foreigners and for temporary period , once u ask to stay there and if u are a non muslim ,then u will be converted or killed.
Strange that you visited Pakistan many times and were able to figure out the country's military is corrupt. Cool comment though, first make them feel you bode well 'come across it's peoples generous hospitality and the stunning natural beauty,' and then go for the hit.

Military however strong needs munitions and to make or buy them also needs financial resources which Pakistan does not have at the moment.
@@soldierof-allah11 You have some serious misconceptions and loose grip on geopolitics. What happened was the matter of past. Afghanistan and Pakistan are hardcore enemies now. There are multiple reasons for a future conflict b/w two. The most dominant one is Taliban's claim over Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. Taliban doesn't recognise Durand Line (Afghan-Pak international border) drawn by British (Sir Durand). Now coming to the Pakistan's Military Strength, there are several anti-state/separatist rebel groups inside Pakistan like BLA and TTP and they keep capturing pieces of land in Pakistan and bring enough casualties to the army. They may calture some really important strategic locations in the time of war. Addition to that Pakistan lack money to keep up fight for a longer period of time. Pakistan is a doomed state.
