My wife and I started a woodworking business. We heard a lot from men in the beginning but a year later we still have non stop orders

I'm going to become a handywoman. I think it's slightly easier than carpenting. It's more tools than materials, some painting, some plumbing.

Wow, so inspiring, I came across this video because I have been trying to convince myself that it is possible, I am in a health profession and I have been fighting with my head over changing my career, I wanted to watch many women in trade and your video has inspired me a lot, exactly what I have been looking for.

I knew this lady who built her husband a tattoo bus studio. She did all the work herself, zero experience. Couches, cabinets, whole thing, it was going to be a zombie theme. Not sure if she ever got rid of it, but it was impressive. Now don't go thinking this is more of a common story than it is, because its not. Its cool and I got zero problems with women doing so called "male" stuff. It was my ex who would work on my car. She was also kind of dudeish in some ways. In some ways gender is a spectrum and in some ways its not. You will likely never see as many women doing this kind of stuff, sorry not sorry. Just what it is. Unless of course you completely erase the idea of sex and gender down to a chemical level, and at that point...keep on ladies!

You clearly didn’t watch the whole video? After her self made kitchen reno, realizing how much she enjoyed the trade, she went to school to learn and gain experience, to pursue this as a career. She HAS years of experience.

@@mariyastoyanova31 haha this is so dramatic, talk about a stereotype! She made one comment, and suddenly SHE is the worse person in the world. WELL YOUNG LADY, YOU are what is wrong with this world! People are hilarious. And seriously, more often than many of you will admit, it is you tearing each other down. I see my faults and men's faults in general, but it is undeniable how petty and ridiculous so many females are. Maybe start owning your shit a little bit?
