You are very welcome Wanda. We really enjoyed our visit. Please feel free to check out some of the other stunning locations that we have been to in the past on our other videos. Much love and thanks for watching, Alison and Darren 💜🤟
What an amazing town although the climbs look hard work on a hot day. You looked shattered Alison! Thank you so much for your shout out and kind and caring words. You are two lovely, wonderful human beings and a big reason we have watched every video you have made x x
Aaaw Barry and Sarah, you're so welcome. You're part of the family now...! It was rediculously hot walking around the village, especially when we walked down to almost the bottom, then went into the cave and had to climb all those stairs, ending up at the top of the village again. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I would have loved to go back and throw myself into the river, but we had to think of the critters in the heat. 😘🥰💜🤟
Thanks Dave. We've got a few absolute corkers coming up in the next few videos, we're sure you won't be disappointed, but no spoilers...! 🤪 Thanks for watching as always 😬💜🤟
Very much so, it's a really lovely place. Make sure you take your swimwear and make the most of the river beach after walking around the castle and town. 🤣 Much love 💜🤟
Morning guys, well that was a blinder of a place wasnt it?! 😲😍 I dont often pin things for us to see later (in part because I forget, but mostly because I'm never sure if we'll ever get to visit even a fraction of them) but I have pinned this one, although my first thought was hearing Stephen protesting 😂🙈 Guess I could leave him by the river while I climb up the village 🤷♂️ Alcalá del Júcar was sensational and you captured it beautifully, but my god that was steep. No wonder you were knackered. The caves were very impressive and seemed to go deep, couldnt believe you ended up back at the top again 😂🤦♂️ The river beach looked perfect too if a little busy. 41 degrees 😬 Jesus! It was pushing 30 here yesterday and that was bad enough 😂 Question for Darren, does it take you as long as it does me to match music to clips?! It takes me forever and then sometimes still doesn't quite fit together after all that effort. The joke is our longest video, the van tour, was the easiest and quickest to put together because it was mostly clips of talking. Trouble is, I like putting music in...I just need to be quicker 😂 So yeah just wondering if you have that issue too (the music in this vid with the clips was great by the way ❤) Safe travels both, much love ❤🤟
Alcalá was amazing, but we REALLY should have gone on a cooler day. 🤣 I would have loved to throw myself (Alison) in the river afterwards, but we had to think of the critters. Definitely take your swimmers though. 🩳 We have sooo many places bookmarked and it helps us plan our trips. We have a destination in mind, then travel via as many 📌's as we can. 😬 As for Darren and the music, yes, it takes him hours. He is obsessive with it and if it doesn't even slightly line up, he'll can the track and find another. He's very conscientious and more than a bit of a perfectionist, but we love him for it. 😍 Much love 💜🤟
@@findingxanadulifeI'm glad it's not just me then, although sometimes (especially lately with our laptops playing up) I just let it be as is, or I mess up, like the music in the model museum in this vid. Darren does a good job with it. I find picking music with a, how shall we say, consistent and easy to time beat makes placing the clips easier as they can usually be the same length. But often the music I want isn't like that, so...🤦♂️ Completely understandable about the critters, they are priority! But if we do visit we'll get the swimwear ready 😁🙏❤️ xxx
@comealongdear Haha Let's just say, if I ever have to do any of the editing at any point, it will be blatantly obvious. Technology hates me and I have no patience with it. Give me a feral cat any day. 🤣 Much love.😘💜🤟
Love your contents. Great info for our trips to come. Funny enough we are looking at a Roller Team Pegaso 740. Remembered that your Percy was a Pagaso. Do you like it ?? Also would love to know how you plan your trips.
Hi Debra, We're so glad that you love the videos. Sorry for the confusion, Perse is a Benimar Perseo 597. We adore her, but we may well downsize to a 4x4 something at a future date, so we can access more places. As for planning our trips, we decide where we want to go to, (with the last trip it was the UK for Christmas with family) and this time Türkiye. Then we look on Google maps to see where I (Alison) have saved locations that I have seen either in magazines, on TV, on social media or had recommended by friends etc and work out a rough route, adding in as many pinned places as we can, within our allotted timescale. With our trip to and from Türkiye, we just have to be back in Spain by September 2026 for Perse's next vehicle inspection. The other thing, is once we start a trip, a lot of planning goes out of the window anyway, as we add places in that we discover on the way and take places out that we find out we can't park at for example. It all becomes a little fluid. 🤷🏼♀️ Where are you hoping to head for on your next trip..?!? Thanks for your comment and much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟
Thanks for the info re motorhome x lol 😂We are off to Scotland end if the week x brrrrrh x not good with cold but has to be done. Next year Spain (some of the lovely villages you have shown we have marked down). Turkey next year also so will follow you with great interest. Thank you for all the info W3W etc love 😊
@DebraStock-yi5yw We intend to visit Scotland at some point, but we're not great with the cold also, so it will be during a future summer. 🤪 Do you document your travels..?!? If you need any more W3W info, let us know and we'll get the info for you. Much love and happy travelling. 😘💜🤟
Hey Sarah, No, we don't have Aircon in the habitation area, only in the cab. We would only be able to use Aircon whilst we were on electric hook-up, or for a short time, as the solar panel wouldn't power it for very long, or we run the engine for a while and blast the cab Aircon. We always try to park in the shade, leave the roof windows open and have electric fans running to keep the air circulating. The critters also have cool mats, although seem to prefer not to lay on them. They do like to stick to ground level a lot of the time. There are little bunkers created where the footwells would be for 2 extra travelling passengers, Spud and Mahpiya both like to get in there and they stay surpringly cool. It's usually cooler inside than out, as motorhomes have pretty good insulation. Animals can definitely cope with a wider range of temperatures than humans can and Bart has to be dragged out of the sun when we are parked. If there is a choice of sun or shade, he'll always choose the sun until we force him to move. We've only had to dampen them down once, the day it hit 41°c in the shade and we were in the motorhome too. Then we dampened them down and drove to somewhere else, blasting the Aircon in the cab whilst we drove. Thanks for your comment..! Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟
