Hey Warren, Happy New Year! Highly excited for 2025! I think my list is a bit different from yours:- 8. Madame Web 7. Kraven the Hunter 6. Venom the Last Dance 5. Echo 4. What If...? Season 3 3. Agatha All Along 2. X-Men '97 1. Deadpool and Wolverine I felt like Echo was a show that was captivating enough to make me sit till the end, but I felt like the ending didn't hit the mark. But Vincent D'Onofrio and Alaqua Cox put an amazing show on screen and I loved it! What If...? Season 3 was the biggest disappointment for me this year. I didn't really care about Echo that much and I knew I had to expect disappointment with the Sony movies, but What If I really wished it was better. I loved Seasons 1 and 2 and was hyped for 3. But everything felt so disconnected, rushed and unfinished. Ironically, I really enjoyed the Howard the Duck episode! The way set up Byrdie and all I liked. But it wasn't as grand as Season 1or 2. But still I felt they nailed it with Episodes 7 and 8! I think episode 7 was one of the best things I've seen with so many female leads being done right, without rubbing the word Feminism on our face! Storm, Captain Carter, Kahhori, Byrdie were all amazing! Can't wait for Kahhori and Byrdie to come to live action! The final episode was great and the perfect ending I would say, but for the most part, this season was far behind what I expected and wanted out of it! Agatha All Along I think, is the biggest win we've gotten! I was really sure they wouldn't mess up X-Men '97 because of the past of it and what it means to people, I was sure Deadpool and Wolverine would be massive no matter what, so when Agatha was nearing, I was worried if it could combat the other releases of this year, and honestly man, like that show did WONDERS for me. It was leagues ahead of what I imagined they could do, with a spin-off like that! Every actor, every character, every choice, every trial, every death hits perfectly on the mark! Episode-7... I don't think I'll forget watching that! Patti LuPone, Joe Locke and the woman herself, Kathryn Hahn everyone nailed it! It will stand down in Marvel history as the show that had 5 female leads in it, but did the women empowerment thing right, without the feminist shit about it! X-Men '97..... I can write an essay longer than the show's script itself describing how much this show achieved. It is the one show that even comes close to beating the big shows like Loki and the Netflix Daredevil show. It ended up with a 99% Rotten Tomatoes score and it deserves every bit of it! It hit every right spot, it had absolutely no filler episodes and each episode tells a new story every new week, but also sets up the rest of the show incredibly well! The way they dealt with Bastion, Mr. Sinister, Bolivar Trask, Prime Sentinels, Nimrod, Magneto everything was insane! I loved how Magneto just becomes a truly good person but still that is achieved with such great care! Wow! Deadpool and Wolverine pretty much goes for without saying...chef's kiss!

I think if we look at kravin and Madam Web souly on the movie itself, then ya not very good. However, if the rumored plans actually plan out of venom teaming up with spider-man and kravin joining the Sinister 6 to fight spider-man, then those movies will be looked at differently. I haven't watched the original X-Men '97 but this series is one of my favorite projects of all time. The animation is pure art and the story is really emotional. It's a shame Beau DeMayo turned out to be a weirdo.
Here are the best to worst 2024 Marvel projects in my opinion: 1. Deadpool & Wolverine 2. X-Men 97 3. Agatha: All Along 4. What If…? Season 3 5. Kraven The Hunter 6. Venom: The Last Dance 7. Echo 8. Madame Web

Marvel could have done an incredible animated show with the What If level of animation. Some of space based stuff with mysterio, white vision, infinity ultron would have been great with a whole series to build it up. I don't think that style of animated works anything near as well in the earth based episodes though. Could also have been a good way to give some of the newer characters some development. I am happy to see them attempt to flesh out the likes of Riri Williams, Valkyrie, Monica Rambeau, etc in animated shows, but I don't think it really added any new dimensions to any of their characters
I wasn't really happy with anything this year, but I more or less thought that nothing sucked. There isn't any solid indication that Marvel (or Disney?) has learned what it needs to going forward. We'll see. I kind of look at last year as a re-set and am hopeful going forward into this one.
Happy New Year! Deadpool and Wolverine was the easy #1 for me. Agatha All Along came in a distant second. I didn't think that Echo was too bad. I liked Venom3 OK, but it wasn't as good as the first. I just can't get into X-Men 97. I cringe every time I hear Summers says his favorite line. Does anyone, anywhere speak in such a way? I did not waste my time or money on Madam Web or Kraven. Venom 2 😮 and Morbius 🥵made me hesitant to see Venom 3.
Most excited for… Fantastic Four is my number 1 Marvel project. No, wait, it’s #2. I just remembered Daredevil was coming - that’s #1 for sure. Then Fantastic Four, then Thunderbolts, Captain America.
@TheCosmicWonder yeah this year is a easy year for ranking but 2025 is be another level. Just hope all amazing to good project not a lot of correct to bad project like this year.
What If? Season 3 fell flat. Supposedly a lot of better storylines got denied for it. Agatha All Along’s rework could’ve just been a series presentation or 4-5 episodes and we’d been just fine. Immortus was gonna be a villain in that, but we know why it was clipped of course.
For me there were three movies this year I cared about: deadpool and wolverine, alien: Romulus and venom: the last dance. Each one delivered for me. DaW was the multiverse buddy comedy I expected it to be with Hugh giving another outstanding performance, alien: Romulus was my most anticipated project of the year as AVP is my bread and butter. The movie worked as a returned to form to the alien franchise as a horror/action sci fi. I loved the xenomorphs in the film and rain and Andy are some of the best characters I’ve seen in the franchise in a while. Overall good movie. Venom 3 is the movie I was sceptical over. However the venom/Eddie dynamic held the movie together, the action was fun and the third act was bonkers. However the movie was asking me to care about a bunch of scientists who I couldn’t care less about. Im also grateful it wasn’t the venom hunts young Peter Parker plot, that would have been a disaster. Venom 3 was solid. I hope daredevil born again is great because that’s my most anticipated project this year aswell as the new Jurassic park and predator movies.
I pretty much agree with your list, Madam Web sucked, Kraven sucked except for most of the action scenes and although Aaron Taylor-Johnson was good as Kraven I would have liked for him to have a deeper voice and a Russian accent, I would rank Venom 3 lower, it was so full of plot holes and felt so rushed and chopped up (in typical Sony fashion) that it wasn’t that enjoyable for me and a lot of the Symbiots felt wasted and Knull felt like a last minute hype tool, What If… and Echo were about the same for me, a lot of the stuff we got in What If… was really questionable, I kinda get that the “The Ducks” episode was setting up Birdie for the last 2 episodes but the Godzilla hulk vs the Power Rangers Avengers episode just seemed like a waste of everyone’s time, I probably still enjoyed it more than Echo, if I wanted to watch a grumpy woman with a permanent frown on her Face ID just go hang out at the local gym… Kingpin and Daredevil were good in it though, Agatha was ok, it definitely was engaging and did surprise me but there was still a lot of cringe in it that I could’ve lived without so it’s barely above Echo and What If… if at all, I haven’t seen X-men ‘97 but it’s because I haven’t finished the original series and if it’s as good as everyone is saying I’m sure I can agree, and Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely my favorite by a LANDSLIDE, watched it at least 10 times.
Re-watched Madame Web..and yes, it is a bad movie. From the storie to the characters and the false promises...I would have loved to see those spider women
I really enjoyed the howard the duck and darcie what if episode, i rewatched that, the mechs and the agatha one. Also in Deadpool and wolverine, another good example of the jokes maintaining seriousness, the clenching joke was perfectly executed
I didn't have problem with MADAME WEBB or KRAVEN, i went in knowing they were going to be beneath MCU standards & unlike MORBIUS', I enjoyed them, yet NOTHING is going to be as enjoyable as X-MEN97 OR DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE
My only favorite cbm movie of 2024 is Deadpool and Wolverine. Echo and X-Men 97, I never seen them. Agatha...TRASH. Same with Sony's pathetic so-called "Marvel movies". Venom: The Last Dance was okay. It could've been a lot better and Deadpool and Wolverine was perfect. Don't understand why you meant it could've been better, Warren, if it's great just the way it is. Anyway, that's my list, hope Deadpool and Wolverine return soon in the MCU, while trash Agatha and the rest never return in the MCU, and wish you a happy new year Warren. Can't wait for more MCU this year and beyond. I love the MCU!!!!
I’m not saying this just to contrary, but the only thing in this list I liked was Deadpool & Wolverine. I thought Echo started decently but then went off the rails. They were not able to make the character interesting. Agatha was - for me - awful. A total joke of a show. X-Men 97 perfectly re-captured the original animated series - which I hated. What If was very lame, unfortunately. And nothing Sony dumped into theaters should be included on any Marvel list.
What’s your list for 2024?! Happy New Year everyone! Love you all 3000
Deadpool & Wolverine & Venom 3 Are Better

X-Men 97
Agatha
Venom 3
Echo
What If saison 3
Kraven
Madame Web
Same as me haha
@TheCosmicWonder yeah this year is a easy year for ranking but 2025 is be another level.
Just hope all amazing to good project not a lot of correct to bad project like this year.
I wasn't really a fan of X-Men '97, so I would rank it lower on the list
What If? Season 3 fell flat. Supposedly a lot of better storylines got denied for it. Agatha All Along’s rework could’ve just been a series presentation or 4-5 episodes and we’d been just fine. Immortus was gonna be a villain in that, but we know why it was clipped of course.
Amado Carrillo Fuentes in Madame Web
X-Men 97 was my number 1.
X-men 97 was very good 👍
For me there were three movies this year I cared about: deadpool and wolverine, alien: Romulus and venom: the last dance.
1. Deadpool & Wolverine 9/10
2. Venom 3. 6.5/10
3. Echo 6/10
4. Xmen 97. 6/10
5. Agatha 5/10
6. Madame Web 3.5/10
7. Kraven 3/10
Deadpool and wolverine and Kraven was the best movies this year
Good list but 97 was better than Deadpool and Wolverine. Not even by a little bit either. 97 was on a whole other level
I loved kraven your crazy lol
For me most of this year except for Loki season 2 and Deadpool 3, it was a bad year for marvel.
Loki season 2 was technically 2023 so it might be worse for you than you thought 😅
@TheCosmicWonder oh, I forgot. I'll replace Loki with X-Men 97.
X-Men 97 is number 1 for me
Re-watched Madame Web..and yes, it is a bad movie. From the storie to the characters and the false promises...I would have loved to see those spider women
Madam Web was so bad that I went into the movie with an "Energy Drink" and still fell asleep... JUST AWFUL!
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
I really enjoyed the howard the duck and darcie what if episode, i rewatched that, the mechs and the agatha one. Also in Deadpool and wolverine, another good example of the jokes maintaining seriousness, the clenching joke was perfectly executed
I mean… you only have eight options, three of which are Sonyverse, one Marvel spotlight, and one actual movie on top of a couple more shows
7:17 IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!!
You forgot Hit-Monkey season 2
There are no bad ones that shouldn’t even be a video!!!!
Venom was second best after Deadpool and wolverine , Kraven the third best
I liked Echo
Howdy
Howdy!
🙏
How was Madame Web not the best? Oh...right...it was Madame Web.
