Yeah seems the photography stuff is probably throw you in the sky right next to it, career mode missions i assume will be start to finish all the time.
These aint career missions. Career mode have wide variety off missions, but u need to make ur lvl up before u can try everything.and u can take off and land, or skip stages too.
Man I am really looking forward to MSFS24. I just got the bravo throttle quadrant for it. It looks really good on you're PC. Also really excited for career mode.
I've been really interested with some of the data people have been posting from this alpha test. A few people showing graphs of the multi-threading improvements where MSFS24 is using all the cores, and FPS comparisons to '20. Only real down side I've seen is that more data needs to been streamed so even an average internet connection may occaisonally struggle without causing pop-in. Definitely on my wishlist to get but may wait a few weeks after launch just to let it all settle down a bit and make sure it's not broken.
Probably animals are like grass in 2024. They won't show up in the drone view unless your plane is really close. And you are probably supposed to fly some kind of search pattern.
In real life I saw a bunch around the Alaska Highway coming down though Yukon and into Alberta. I know it's stated that migration routes and other factors are included in the sim so I would expect to see bison herds where they naturally occur
It looks great, but i'm a little tired of all these people claiming that suddenly MSFS 2020 doesn't look great. Personally i see nothing so far that would make me want to get the new one when MSFS does all i need it too already.
I don't think that's fair, I remember people saying this same kind of thing about Madden on the Nintendo 64. It's not sudden, it's just that in the time since 2020 games have slowly gotten better looking, as they always have. Technology will always continue to get better and it's been four years since MSFS2020, which in a few spots does look pretty rough. MSFS2020 is over 4 years old and looks plenty rough in specific circumstances, mostly just anything sub 1000ft. The geometry on the ground level was very poor, and all the satellite data had a weird green tint to it. The game looked great in many cases but it also looked poor in many cases. To me, 2024 doesn't appear to raise the ceiling of the graphics too much but the floor is definitely much higher than it was before. Beyond that performance in 2020 was very poor because it had bad multi-threading utilization, which reportedly 2024 is much better at.
Compared to 2024, it really looks mediocre, but alone, when not being compared, it looks gorgeous as it did on release. And that’s what makes 2020 unique, it shown what’s possible with the current technology, and blew away simmers and gamers alike. It will always look beautiful.
@@elmar001 what exactly from the ACE trailer makes you think it will hold a candle to msf 2024? The entire globe is mapped to a pretty convincing level of detail, which not only can you fly around but you can also park up your plane and get out for a stroll. ACE appears like its gonna be the same cars and tracks with slightly better modeling and similar shaders to CSP and Pure. Plus, MSF24 has both a deep single player and multiplayer experience which should offer years of enagement. I'll eat my hat if Kunos develop a ranked multiplayer system for ACE. There's nil evidence Kunos have either the will or ability to do multiplayer properly judging from AC1 or ACC. Ditto for career modes.
@@elmar001 if signor marco massarutto's interviews about ACE at the sim racing expo come to fruition, I may well be eating my hat (and some humble pie) re: ranked multiplayer in Evo. I have the Alpha also, and i`m gonna support them with buying the most costly version. The developers are so great and straightforward with things. I know gamers can be a bit toxic, but the flightsim community seems to be calm and collected :)
That's so cool... I guess. I wonder if we will also see some non arcade avionics, an atc that doesn't drive you into a mountain, voip, mp shared cockpit, icing, wx and traffic actually matching real world...
@@kneebon5 Essentially, MS2020 was more of an arcade-like flying game that never got past a beta test phase-visually appealing but far from deserving the ‘simulator’ title. I really hope all the missions aren’t like this where you just hop in the plane in the middle of the sky. I like take off and fly and land
they include taxi and takeoff and landing too yes
Yeah seems the photography stuff is probably throw you in the sky right next to it, career mode missions i assume will be start to finish all the time.
Career mode missions are from cold & dark on the apron. You can optionally skip stages if you want, but can also fly the whole thing start to finish

Hopefully in 2024 version they can get the taxiway lights where they should be at airports instead of haphazard placement like it is now.
Ha yeah, one of those little annoyances. Would be nice to get radio controlled ones as well for the smaller places.

Just had a game crash with it, but it was running crazy smooth over high density photogrammety and the last game really struggled with that.

Animals and grass aren’t in the alpha.

I'm actually excited for the new missions and love how much detail is put into the world! Now iRacing needs implement their new graphics engine :)

that water reflection clipping buggs the crap out of me. I wish they would sort that out!

Graphics are only a small bit of what they hav managed to do here.
This looks promising can’t wait to do this in VR
God that's beautiful can't wait for turkey day
Especially since this doesnt even have the procedurally generated ground art, grass and rocks
hey man, just wondering if you could make a video on the missoula montana area (kmso) please. thanks buddy.
Can't wait for MFS 24 it looks incredible. Wish we had a racing sim to match what the flight simmers get 🤔
uh .. Assetto Corsa EVO????

Just do it through the Insider App

Why we see no grass texture in this tech alpha? Or i am wrong?
