What a very simple message to the sinner, seeker, the Lord receives all who call on Him. So today IS the day of salvation. Hallelujah, thank You Lord Jesus.❤
Yes, O Lord GOD ALMIGHTY tonight IS the night to give our all You Lord YESHUA! This night, this very moment we declare You Lord and Saviour, You Lord YESHUA are the only Begotten Son of YAHWEH GOD ALMIGHTY; the great and only I AM! Dear Lord, through this time of dark unrest, still our hearts, worries and woes, because You and You alone are HA SHEM and have already won the victory. Yes tonight is the night, we humbly give our all to You. Thank you Lord for answered prayers
I agree with all of you that love this song and I also attempted to like as many of the comments as possible. I believe it is the best hymn ever written.
Right around 210 we sing 'believe, obey, the work is done'. So there you have it right there from our own mouths that Salvation involves work. There are many who think that Salvation is by Grace alone and involves no work but it does require work. Work was done by God and work must be done by the penitent subject who would be saved. A kind of work that is prohibited is the Work of the Law of Moses not every and any work.
Salvation itself *is* all of grace--no works, no merit, no 'help' on our part. It is ALL of God. We do play a part--we must be willing to submit in humble repentance to God (all of which God works in us by His Spirit of grace). Where works come into play is after the fact, it is a fruit of the true salvation of grace. If we truly believe, we will obey. If we love, we will obey. But obedience is a product of true salvation. This is why faith without works is dead. Obedience is the evidence of true saving faith. Godly repentance works godly sorrow which brings about a carefulness, clearing, indignation, fear, vehement desire, zeal, and revenge (upon sin and the flesh), 2 Cor 7:9-11. TRUE salvation is ALL of GOD>> "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Eph 2:8-9. 2Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 2Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
