    It's not from a movie.
The technique is called Rotoscoping, that you draw/trace by hand frame by frame over the filmed material.
It took months just to draw the parts from inside the comic.

The girl is actually a model (Bunty Bailey) who actually met the lead singer on the set of this music video. They ended up dating for a few years afterward.

I’ve been an a-ha fan since I was 12 I’m nearly 50 now. They have a new single out at the moment, following soon by their 11th studio album.

The original is on Warner I believe. It's a smidge different. When I saw the motorcycle scene it reminded me of the 1930's and 40's so there was a nostalgic element for me back in 1985.

Fun bit of trivia, the two dated for years after the video and are still close friends to this day.

I loved your reaction to this song. This was always my favourite A-Ha song. Ignore the haters out there. Love your reactions. Was great seeing your full reaction, but you must post what you feel comfortable with. It's your channel after all. The band is Norwegian and the members are Morten Harket on vocals, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy on guitars, and Magne Furuholmen on keyboards, guitars and vocals.

Yes, this video is one of the best ever… the cartoons were it handmade 🥰. There’s a short documentary with the behind scenes that was released when the original video reached 1 billion views on youtbe, it worths watching . In addition, don’t let this popular song maje you think that A-ha is one song or one style band. They have lots of great and unique songs, 8n addition, Morten Harket, the vocalist, h9ld a guiness record for holding the longest high note in a song, this boy can sing!

a-ha is a Norwegian band and they're still together. In fact, they're latest cd, True North, just dropped last month. However, they do NOT get along with each other but keep coming back and releasing new material. Little known fact. The lead singer, Morten Harket, holds the world record for longest single note held during a live performance, Summer Moved On. a-ha is known for their artistic videos. I recommend watching Hunting High and Low, Celice, Manhattan Skyline, and the Sun Always Shines on TV, which briefly continues the Take On Me video storyline. Not only are the videos enjoyable but the music is awesome.

As an artist whose formative years were the 80's this is one of my favorite songs and my number one favorite music video of all time. Pentatonix covered it amazingly well, but, probably wisely, didn't do a video for it. The arrangement kicks ass, though.

Ty the 80's were so much fun it was about music being enjoyable and great to dance to, it was a happy time , Can you check out one of my favourite 80's dance tracks based on Madonna's Holiday music, it's called Holiday Rap by Miker G and Mc Sven it was huge on the dancefloors in Australia in the mid 80's and you probably haven't heard this one.

This is authentic you and: no you don’t overly “um & ahh” at all. Leave it raw. It sets you apart because you’re engagingly articulate anyway. What you DO need to edit is your visuals ! Aesthetics rule over edits! We don’t need to see your microwave-we all have one ! Go to Habitat or somewhere get a cool screen to put up or just tight crop. You’re great bud.

But thanks man. I'm glad you enjoyed the unedited version. I think I like the edited though, it's more work but feels more exciting for me lol

That's the rivals that lost the race in the beginning that want to "settle the score".
    Bad losers.
