Greetings from Arctic Norway 🇳🇴, land of the Northern Lights and Midnight 🌞. Thanks to the "Trybal-tribe" for such a wonderful reaction to an old Norwegian hit❣️ Now let them see the slow MTv live session 🤩🥰
Greetings from Argentina, I love different cultures, and this people is so respectful of all the different videos shown. Abdul feels like a grandfather to me, I would love to understand the language and listen to him for hours !
I am in Wales, far away. But we connect through this song. My heart smiles to see these gentlemen appreciate the craftsmanship of this video and how fun the song is. Wonderful reaction.
Spectacular reaction Adnan. You can clearly see the joy in their faces with all these 80's and 90's happy pop songs. You're doing a fantastic job and I'm very grateful for all these videos you post for us. You really made my day. Thank you.
One of my favorite songs and videos! I remember watching it as a kid. It's so great to see how music connects us all, no matter what country or culture we come from.
This is one of my fav reactions of all time! Their suprise when the drawings and the 'reality' mixed was amazing! The premise of the vid isn't too dissimilar to what you do... bringing two different worlds together.
Hello i am an A-HA fan from Scotland in the UK and i have been a fan of this band for 40 years now. The video was made using a technique called Rotescopy where hand drawings are made to go with live action shots of the band. 3,000 drawings were used to make this video. Thankyou for reacting to A-HA and Take on me . Take care 😘🏴
If you are a particular fan of rotoscoping, check out cab calloway- St James infirmary. Also the excellent movie A Scanner Darkly was made using this technique
Rotoscope was made by the Fleischer brothers in 1915. It's what allowed Superman, popeye and Betty Boop to have more realistic movements! The process is still used today.
There's barely a video where Muharam does not mention Michael Jackson. It's also amazing how all these gentlemen showed concern when the two characters where about to be attacked.
Muharam has a great love for art and artists, and he has a way of finding the very best in everything he watches. Nothing but respect and love for that man!
Thank you for working to create a bridge between cultures! The videos are often enlightening in ways I didn’t expect. Hopefully it helps us all embrace our common humanity more. 👍
This is one of my favorite songs. I have listened to it hundreds of times myself, so it is not 2 billion people, but views. I will no doubt watch it hundreds more. I remember when it first was shown on music video channels.
One of the best and most successful bands ever and Morten Harket, the vocalist is known as one of the best voices in the music scene, for many people he is just the best. By the way the Band had a comeback in 2000, til 2010 they released many albums and had concerts all over the world. 2010 they said farewell but after 5 years they came again together and released albums. Their last album was released end of 2022, so they didn't stop making music, they sometimes took a long break to do solo work
There's a body language expert that did a video evaluating the Trybals reacting to Hallelujah song. He talked about how you could just put a pic of Abdul in the chair 😅
These gentlemen should be ambassadors for the UN, it gives me hope to see our cultures can find common ground and speak on it...these gentlemen are just fantastic...💯..may there god bless them beyond there means..keep up the great videos guys..🙏. Stay blessed
I love this song, and I love that you chose to share this song with our friends. I agree with Muharam - I wish they were still together as a band! Both the song and the video are so fun and energetic. Please feel better soon, Muharam. Love and blessings from Buffalo, NY. Go Bills!
This is my favorite song and one of the first music videos that I ever saw. I'm glad that the gentlemen loved it as much as I do. It's so special to be able to share their experience of listening to it for the first time. ❤🎶
I loved this video when I was in high school in the 1980's. Thank you for bringing me back to all those feelings you expressed. It gives me hope for our world.
The insight these gentlemen have is amazing. They bring up things in the video I never thought of. I was fortunate enough to see A-ha in concert on September 18, 1986 in Orlando, Florida. It was one of my favorite concerts. They sounded excellent. Another one of my favorite A-ha songs in "The Sun Always Shines On T.V." Check it out if you haven't heard it.
This was lovely - and not to worry - they have 11 studio albums and still sound amazing! Their music lends itself to beautiful videos - Hunting High and Low is also worth checking out! Train of Thought has more drawings. 🌹🕊
@TRYBALS : Salute, Adnan. Really cool to see A-ha on here, as they're my countrymen. The story in this video is basically about her reading the comics book, and after a while, whether she's imagining it or not, the book comes to life. And it depicts the hero in a bike race, and those guys after him, was either because he was winning the race, or just because they wanted to cheat, by knocking him out, so he wouldn't be in the race anymore. And in the end, he bangs the edges of the comic book panel, trying to in a sense, break free from that world. And they had beaten him, but he was also in rough shape from breaking through, I think. But in the end, when she looks at the book, he's finally made it into her world, and can be with her. And I'd like to think that after that, which we don't see in the video, they lived happily ever after. And yes, those of your guys who said it's a love story, is 100 % on point. And it's a great song too, and I would recommend buying either 'Headlines And Deadlines - The Hits Of A-ha', and there's another compilation album too, but the title escapes my mind right now. But both albums cover all the best songs from them, especially from when they were at their peak, in the 80's and 90's. Don't care too much for their newer stuff, but there is the occasional song I like, and particularly the song 'Lifelines' comes to mind. Maybe you could have the guys react to that, as it's a representation of the newer material? Just a suggestion, though. And thanks again for featuring the biggest thing to come out of my country, and keep up the good work, Adnan, my brother from another mother. 😊👍
The other compilation album is simply named "25", on the occasion of 25 years since the first album were released. The double album came out the same year the band officially disbanded, 2010. They reunited in 2015, and unlike you, I also like the last two albums - as well as most of their other music.
I never get tired of listening to this people, so naive and so inmensely profound at the same time. So sensible. BTW, A-ha was known In America only for this hit song, but they had many beautiful songs.
Ohhhh! a-ha! ❤ I did a school report on them, when I was little. Even brought my cassette player with me, to play this song for the class. Another video you might enjoy is "Hunting high and low" from a-ha. It also has animated parts and Morton Harkets voice is a-maze-ing!!
It's a timelessly impressive video and I'm glad they kept noticing his vocals, the range of the ascending chorus is very difficult to replicate going that low and then that high; a real test for a singer.
Thank you very much. Another great reaction. It brought back so many memorys. I loved this song when I was a young teenager but I never saw the video. I could not speak English and just understand a little that time. But just through the music it was clear that this is a love song. Havn't heard it for about 30 years.
I love this channel. I was fortunate to spend some months in the tribal areas of Pakistan and met some of the most amazing people. Greetings and respect from Australia.
Love this insight into you fine gentemen, respectful to each other and comments are genuine and kind at all times. The world could learn a lot from your way of thinking. All the best from the U.k.
Maybe it's fun for them to also see the acoustic version: a-ha - Take On Me (Live From MTV Unplugged) That way they can enjoy the quiet music and be less distracted by the amazing animated video.
This video and the music really impressed them, they loved it , all three of them. So nice to see and it doesn't surprise me. No matter what country you're from, everybody recognizes a masterpiece!
Wonderful reaction. You guys have to show them the MTV Unplugged version from 2017, it's amazing. I also recommend "Summer moved on", as an explanation of why the band took a break in the 90s. The video is fine, but a live version is best because there is a surprise during the song. Maybe Oslo Spektrum 2010 or Valhall 2001.
I'm old now, but every time I hear this song it takes me back to those days of my youth. I'm the same age as the lead singer Morten Harket, so I don't find it strange that the band has moved on to newer and better things as they grow old. I'd be interested to know what all of the reviewers were doing in 1984? Are they still friends with the same people they hung out with at that time? Oh, and Michael Jackson was born 11 months before Morten Harket, so they are of a similar age.
I saw Aha in concert about 20 years ago and it was supposed to be one of their last. 😂 Bands do that all the time. I think The Who have had about 100 farewell concerts. 😁
heh. I didn't remember the title, so I wondered what the Norwegian song with two billion views was. After the first bar it was like: oh THIS. Without this song, the world would be an alternate universe

I wish everyone good health and a good mind :) Love from Norway. PS: It can be hard to come up with (actually good) video suggestions and in digestible sizes. I have many ideas but I think one would be very interesting for *THEM.* But you know best. Either way the video title is: "Good Times In Super Sketchy Mountains + NORTHERN LIGHTS" It is one of many videos from Nicolai Schirmer, which is one of my favourite skiers. It showcase some extremities in the rugged Northern coast of Europe, as well as dangers and knowledge and beauty.
Delightful!!! a-ha are great Artists and this song is iconic ❤ Please react to the original video of "Hunting high and low" and the live of "Summer moved on" ( live in Oslo for Ending on a high note, 2010) Thanks from Italy
This drew me in when I was nine years old; I could not believe what I was seeing! Still an A-ha fan today at age 48. P.S. There’s soooo many good songs they’ve written.
I want my MTV! This was in the era where I would get together with friends from different countries and go to a pizza shop with video projectors playing this channel on big screens.
read the past news of this channel, they were kicked out because of the landlord, he sold his car to pay for that space and now they cant use it anymore
Thankfully, they aren't disbanded though! Also, I absolutely love the reactions you guys have on these videos and I have been recommending this channel to friends of mine.
"Love transcends all boundaries.." One of the fundamental tenets of human existence... perfectly demonstrated by rough illustrations in a music video. You don't need to understand the words to know what is being said.
Despite the language barrier, music and art speaks to everyone!
Yep
Almost made me cry
I won’t lie, I did cry!
Greetings from Arctic Norway 🇳🇴, land of the Northern Lights and Midnight 🌞.
Thanks to the "Trybal-tribe" for such a wonderful reaction to an old Norwegian hit❣️
Now let them see the slow MTv live session 🤩🥰
"old Norwegian hit"
"old"

a-ha - Take On Me (Live From MTV Unplugged) on UA-cam
I cannot help but agree. Dear Morten’s voice is a gift that seems to get better and better.
@LeNaSmileyStar
Can I guess you live north of Mo I Rama?
Greetings from Texas borderlands. Where it gets hot as hell . I don't know how I would make it there or you here . Be well amigo .
We too are pulled into your world through the magic of your videos!
Wonderful ❤❤❤
I had forgotten how beautiful that video is. Lovely to see the chaps reaction
Still one of the greatest music videos ever made. It's unfortunate they never had a hit in the US after this song.
Greetings from Argentina, I love different cultures, and this people is so respectful of all the different videos shown. Abdul feels like a grandfather to me, I would love to understand the language and listen to him for hours !

I love Mashoque's laugh, especially when the hand came out of the comic book! This might be my new favorite episode. 🤩
Spectacular reaction Adnan. You can clearly see the joy in their faces with all these 80's and 90's happy pop songs.

@@whispersmith and watch the many animated movies by Ralph Bakshi.

It's his standard to compare other artists to. Not mine and not everyone's. Nevertheless good reactions.
@@Alternative_views I know that. I just think its great that he does.

The catchiest song ever.
I laughed watching their reactions.
These gentlemen are such sweet men. I love seeing and hearing them express thier reactions to the music videos. That it just make my day.
Abdul seemed more animated this episode. I think he really liked it. Loved everyone's reactions.
There's a body language expert that did a video evaluating the Trybals reacting to Hallelujah song. He talked about how you could just put a pic of Abdul in the chair 😅
@@andreaski100 I've seen that video, lol. Abdul was definitely more into this one. Still restrained, but kinda twinkly.

I’m so happy they reacted to this song ❤ this was my cousins favorite song before he passed away from cancer❤️
Not Abdul absolutely nailing the themes of a song he's never heard IMMEDIATELY i love this man
I'm so happy about this channel. You're doing the whole world a favor.
6:10 this is a great interpretation of the video. It’s like when you meet a friend or fall in love you are entering into that person’s world.
Good news! A-ha did in fact reunite and are playing together again!

They still are together. They have released 11 studio albums, and have had several hits in Europe. Their last album came in October 2022.
Probably my favorite song/video from my teenage years!!
Another music video, that was quite groundbreaking and interesting to watch is Peter Gabriel "Slegdehammer".
This is my favorite song and one of the first music videos that I ever saw. I'm glad that the gentlemen loved it as much as I do. It's so special to be able to share their experience of listening to it for the first time.

What a wonderful reaction video. You brought joy to my day. Thank you and bless you all!
Somebody get the clip of these gentlemen over to the members of A-ha post haste!
I know someone who knows him and sent the link, lol
I loved this video when I was in high school in the 1980's. Thank you for bringing me back to all those feelings you expressed. It gives me hope for our world.
What a comment ! " Love so strong, like a fish out of water"
You all made my day. I love this song. Your reactions to it affirm how much we are the same even though we are from different cultures. ❤

I was quite young when these became famous but when I got older I remember thinking how good looking Morton harket was!
